Like a lovely stay at a friend’s place.
Quaint property situated a little away from the city center but not too far. Old style property. Very comfortable rooms.
The fact that it is 2 houses across the road and some services and amenities like restaurant are in one house

Lovely stay
This is the loveliest hotel I have ever stayed in. It’s beautiful, clean, cozy and has the most kind and attentive staff. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. They also serve the most delicious homemade biscuits that I wish I could buy in bulk. Wish we could have stayed longer. I recommend staying here and would stay here again myself every time we come to Edinburgh!

A great option for couple of days in Edi
great location close to the downtown and on the Airport Skylink route (20-30 mins to the airport), a very traditional building, perfect for a weekend escape, the staff was both very professional and friendly

It was comfortable, happy, clean and the food was excellent.
Breakfast was very good, beautifully presented and full of flavour. All was good quality including the orange juice which we have noted has been an area of cut-back in other hotels. (It is the small things that count!)Our room was good size and well laid out with everything
you need. The pillows were the best of any hotel we have stayed in
We had to wait for rather a long time for our breakfast order to be taken one morning. Otherwise everything else was perfect. I was having an eye procedure carried out at Optical Express and the room was perfect for resting. Dinner was kindly brought up to my room one day which was above and beyond for the staff -I was so grateful.

Fantastic hotel in a lovely residential area of Edinburgh. The hotel is very well connected via. Multiple bus routes from the airport and city.

So authentic and Edinburgh, situated closed to Murryfield a short walk to the city centre
breakfast was outstanding, all served fresh, local Scottish produce, the decor was so cozy and authentic.
No reception, it was a little weird to know where to check in, but a cleaner found a receptionist

Wonderful awesome.
We liked everything about the property. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Jamie and Claire attended us. The room and the view was awesome.
They could work out on a bit of more lighting in the room. Rest everything was perfect. Location was perfect with bus No 26 & 31 coming just at the door of the hotel. So no worries of going out to city.
I would strongly recommend the property.

Gorgeous Stay with Clean and Cozy Rooms & Quite Helpful Staff
Inside of the building is well designed. The rooms are so clean and cozy. The outside view is just gorgeous. The staff was so helpful and even we arrived too early for check in, they offered us coffee and prepared our room in about an hour.

Stunning stay
Absolutely wonderful room and staff. Got an upgrade for no charge and we were so pleasantly surprised. Definitely would stay again. So lovely and has parking!

Wonderful atmosphere, beautiful hotel, good service by staff who were pleasant and professional.
Location and ambiance.
The breakfast was mostly pre-heated and not fully freshly prepared. For a hotel of this standard that was disappointing.
