Friendly Staff Stylish and spacious room Separate Dressing Room for luggage

Liked the informal, friendly atmosphere and the spacious room and the shower....and the food was really good. Staff were lovely.

The extractor fan in the shower room was too loud. And a net curtain or a blind on the window would ensure not being watched (when you have lights on in the rooms) from across the street, especially at dusk or early in the day.

Loved the room , comfortable everything you could need in it , tastefully decorated with excellent quality furnishings and a. Eautiful bathroom , great staff , didn’t have breakfast there as meeting friends in the city . Location was in a lovely area of edinborough , just a bit out of the way but not a long way even when walking , to the main area in endiborough , would defiantly stay again .

The price was a bit more than we’d have liked to have paid but everything was so good we didn’t mind in the end

Absolutely amazing hotel, probably the nicest hotel we've ever stayed at! Staff were so lovely and went above and beyond to make the stay extra special. Would go back in a heartbeat and never wanted to leave! 10/10 experience would highly recommend to anyone considering booking you won't find better value for money anywhere else in Edinburgh. Stockbridge is also v nice!

The staff was absolutely outstanding. We were early to our check-in and the front desk took our bags. When the room was ready, our bags were already there. I just thought that was the nicest touch. The breakfast was so well priced for such quality and quantity. Everyone was so attentive and answered all of our random travel questions. I loved how close it was to Old Town with the hustle and bustle, but when we were ready to come back to a quieter part of the city, this place was just the perfect place to get comfy in the lounge for a snack and a dram. Truly, would not book anywhere else in Edinburgh!

Location, Staff, Service, Food were all great. Relatively late breakfast serving time available which is a bonus.

Room was a little dark decor wise, and had no drawers to put clothes etc in, although this was apparent at the time of booking so understandable. It's a popular hotel and we took the last room available.

A stylish and welcoming stay in a great area of the city. I'll be visiting the Raeburn again when next in Edinburgh.

I think it's the first time I'm giving a hotel a full 10/10. I loved everything about The Raeburn. And as my friends and family would inform you I'm a very fastidious traveler. Location is not central- it's better than that. Reaburn is a brisk 10-min walk from all the hustle and bustle. It's got an amazing selection of cafes, restaurants, bookstores, knickknacks shops and more. The moment I stepped into the room my heart skipped a beat- I usually go for modern, sparsely decorated places but our room was an epitome of cosy comfort. It was pristinely clean. We enjoyed a spacious bathroom with a shower. My only regret is skipping breakfast- I had a long list of nearby cafes to test. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but it's money well spent. 100% would stay again.
