The Marker Hotel, Dublin

I liked everything about The Marker. All of the staff are great, incredibly attentive, efficient and welcoming; the room was beautiful with the most comfortable bed and pillows. Excellent food, in the bar and restaurant; delicious breakfast too. Great facilities and perfect place to stay for going to the theatre.

There in nothing not to like, wonderful hotel in Dublin.

Luxury hotel with a homely feel. Staff are excellent ,great breakfast ,great rooms ,very comfy beds. Lovely spa area. Great location. My third or fourth time staying here. I will be back.

Clean, friendly staff, everything in great condition, none of the usual wear/tear that you see in a hotel room

Close to the Bord Gais Theatre. The spa was nice too. The room was cosy and clean.

Everything was fabulous. The staff were lovely, friendly and accommodating. The little touches like flowers in the bathroom and on the room service trays were especially lovely.

The water pressure in the shower could be better. But this is only a very minor thing.

We love the venue

Upon return to the room last night, the tv wasn’t working, but the staff were excellent and tried to remedy this. Unfortunately unsuccessfully.

The location and how easy it was to get there via public transport. The staff were very nice and we had a amazing dinner.

Room was beautiful, all amenities provided, robes, slippers, Voya products which I love. Breakfast was exceptional, buffet or order to the table, the choice was yours. Bar was very comfortable and lovely atmosphere in the evening.

Beautiful modern and comfortable, flawless after our hiccup on our arrival.

Being told there was no tables for a meal after driving for 3 hours in the car, then being told we could not even sit in bar area and wait for a table to come free, I admit it was just handled poorly but in the end we got sorted after our frustration was felt. Could have been avoided on my end with future planning and it was the Christmas period,

The room, the staff, the breakfast, everything was exceptional. Everyone was very well trained so the service was simply top notch.

The spa could use a little TLC - many tiles were missing in the steam room and some jets in the jacuzzi were broken. This did not impact our stay but an hotel of this caliber should fix it asap

Staff has been top notch. Ludo de Jong, you have a wonderful team and we know nowadays how hard it is to be surrounded by good elements. They all have been really helpful, smiley, and dedicated. From the reception, day and night (sorry i forgot their names), to the breakfast (Maria was it?), bar, Spa, housekeeping or Restaurant. It was perfect to my opinion. Many thanks to the spa therapist who did a pregnancy massage to my partner on the 2nd of January (she was red-haired). Thanks to the portuguese receptionist on evening shift (gave us a good tip for the "old spot restaurant"). Thanks for the cake also (it was my birthday trip). Location is great and calm, but also very close to the center. Decoration is nice inside the hotel. Great building.

Hotel starts to show few signs of aging (the purple carpet inside the room , the under tv furniture which was brocken, the shower which wasn't really great and powerfull, joint at the door also needed to be fixed, the floor inside the shower which showed stains) -> room 303 one brocken Toilet inside the mens toilet at the bar . At the spa, part of the jacuzzi isn't working well (no bubble). Breakfast was uneven. Could be improved for a 5* (lacking of presentation and choices for cold cuts and cheese). For the "warm" part, it was lacking of choices too. However, pastries, fruits section, juices, coffees etc... was very good and well presented. Selection of fruits were good too.

Every member of staff was friendly, kind, warm and helpful! It is very rare to find that in a hotel. They made our New Year’s Eve stay wonderful and so much fun! Spa was gorgeous. Rooms were spacious, warm and comfortable. Room service food was delicious! They let us get onto the roof bar for the fireworks and had champagne too! Absolutely perfect stay! We would love to stay again!

Attention to detail was amazing. The breakfast very good, not only a buffet choice but also a menu with alternatives. The friendliness of the staff. Spa area comfortable but not enough relaxation beds.

The decor in our room was dark and lighting poor.

Second time staying here, amazing, so clean and modern and staff have excellent hospitality skills. Definitely lives up to the name all staff are great.

The room was decorated perfectly and the bathroom was absolutely gorgeous and had a lot of space with a separate shower than the bath.

The room was quite warm on arrival but had an extra plug in fan in room so the room got to room temperature shortly after:)

The architecture of the building and the interior design was beautiful. Very comfortable and clean.

The pillows were very flimsy, needed to be more firm, very annoying. The room could do with a window you can open for ventilation. The room temperature was quite cold even with the heat all the way up.
