Very welcoming, felt right at home. Great location, walkable to Sandymount, and easy to hop on a bus to get further out/downtown.

Friendly staff, beautiful house. Felt very clean and comfortable. The location is great, it's near buses, the Dart and an easy walk to the Strand.

The floor boards are creaky and the sound insulation is non existent. We woke up every morning at 7am to the person in the room above us walking around and people having loud conversations in the hallway. For me, this was a deal breaker. If I knew about the noise, I wouldn't have booked here.

Fantastic place, great transport links within a short walk, beach and good restaurants also within a short walk. The room had a vintage vibe, which was in keeping with the house. Everywhere was elegant, clean, and comfortable. And the host and staff were very welcoming and accommodating. I have no hesitation recommending this place and will return in the future.

I stayed for 2 nights - the room was cleaned, towels changed and beds made during my stay, despite putting a private sign up on the door. I would have liked the option to not have these things happen - better for the environment and reduces costs on many levels. Also the water in the shower wasn't the hottest on the first morning - warm enough to have a shower, but could have been warmer. Still, this wouldn't put me off coming back again in the future.

We missed our flight back home and had to book another night in/near Dublin last minute. We booked a room in Aberdeen Lodge, and it ended up being the best accommodation we had in our entire trip!! It felt like a home away from home. It was beautiful and very clean. And the hospitality of the owner was amazing!!! My husband and I said to each other afterwards that is was a shame we only had the one night at the lodge. If we ever come back to Dublin, we will definitely stay here again!

The lodge is in a perfect location, very clean and we felt we were transported to a different kind world where time slowed down and we were present. Pat was very gracious to give us history of the 100 year old home.

Spotlessly clean, charming and comfortable. Beautiful garden! The dogs are a delight! Easy checkin, and right on the bus line for very quick access to everything.

The Owners were very friendly and provided information on how to get around in Dublin. They had available for cash purchase 3 day mass transit tickets good for Bus/Train/Street Car. Convenient to restaurants and easy to get to Dublin center.

Like most other places in Dublin, it was pricy.

The staff and owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location was lovely: A short walk from a charming town and and the sea, and convenient to public transport, but just far enough away from the businesses of the city center. The room was clean and comfortable, and the housekeeping was great. Breakfast was delicious.

The property, the host & staff, the breakfast, the neighborhood…all of it exceptional! The small nearby village of Sandymount is perfect for dinner. Buses and/or the DART train system get you to the city center in minutes. Room clean and comfortable; well appointed. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The wonderful staff who were endlessly helpful and kind and caring. Anne the owner went out of her way to be helpful and made me a special meal. The beautiful room, comfy beds, tea and shortbread. The buses down the road in a.lovely neighborhood. Of course, the dogs.

Everything was exceptional from the greeting on arrival to the "stay left" on departure (we are from US and had a car). The breakfast was wonderful and the room comfortable and had all we needed. The english cream goldens, Robin and Hope, were a delightful sight each morning. Very close to DART and we were able to purchase 3 day passes at the Lodge.

We didn't want to leave. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back one day. There was nothing to dislike about this property. There wasn't even a lot of rain to complain about!

Amazing people and location.

A beautiful lodge where the owners make you feel so welcome! The rooms are immaculate and extremely comfortable. Everyone at the lodge is so personable and helpful. It was such fun to play with the golden retriever pups.

The location was perfect for the purpose of my visit to Dublin. It is situated in a very quiet area of Dublin with plenty of places to eat out in the vicinity. I fully intend to go there again and would highly recommend the property. The owners and staff were very helpful. My room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean.

The property is gorgeous, immaculate, and perfectly located. Pat is incredibly helpful and made our five day stay feel like home. The bus stops a few doors down, and Sandymount is a cute little village. Did I mention there are dogs???!!!

It is a beautiful hotel, everybody was welcoming, breakfast was really good and the location great.

Lovely location away from the city centre near the beach and a lovely local village setting with excellent public transport links.

Everything! Cosy, comfortable and homely, with the most beautiful garden full of flowers and birds. I received the warmest of welcomes from Ann & her doggies. My room was exceptionally clean, as was the whole house. Breakfast was delicious and Ann was so kind and helpful, the perfect host. The hotel is a few stops on the train or a short bus ride from Dublin town centre or just under an hour away from Howth, where you can do a lovely cliff walk and dine at a seafood restaurant.

Wonderful location in a lovely residential area of Dublin . Easy walking to the Dart of bus . Close yo the village of Sandymount and good restaurants. Ann and her staff provide a warm welcome and make you feel at home.

I have stayed here several times over the years , I can’t think of any changes I would recommend.

This is a lovely family run hotel. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing. It’s quiet and comfortable. It’s a little out of the centre of Dublin but there is a bus that runs into the city and the train is only a 10 minute walk away. There is also a lovely village close by with a supermarket and restaurants, cafes and pubs.

This lodge is in a really lovely area and is close to the sea. Very convenient to public transport. The breakfasts are wonderful.

We loved the charm of the Inn, the breakfasts, and most of all the owners and staff. The service was truly extraordinary. Ann went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She helped us with train transportation and with planning our days in the area.

The host is very kind. She diligently answered all our questions before our stay and greeted us every morning with a bright smile, taking great care of us. Not only her, but all the staff at this accommodation are truly friendly and sweet, including Coco, Robby, and Sandy :) There are adorable, people-loving dogs that you can't help but love them. The clean rooms are equipped with everything you need. Enjoy a top-notch breakfast while overlooking the beautiful garden. The breakfast here was the best I've had in Dublin, made with incredibly fresh ingredients. You can choose from various options, and while everything is delicious, I highly recommend the French toast and scrambled eggs with salmon. After breakfast, you have the privilege of playing with the dogs in the yard. Lastly, I want to thank everyone for making our time in Dublin memorable and I miss the dogs so much....

The Aberdeen Lodge is in a quiet but very accessible area of Dublin by the city DART. The staff was very helpful and kind with their time. The rooms were spotless and kept that way daily. The Lodge is also close to the shore for a wonderful walk.

Loved everything about staying at Aberdeen Lodge. The location is exceptional--quiet, convenient, beautiful. The lodge itself was elegant, and the people so kind. Would return in a heartbeat.

We are avid travelers with my husband, and Aberdeen Lodge was one of the best places where we stayed in the past years. The owners and the staff was super nice and friendly, we were provided with good advise upon our arrival. The breakfast is excellent. The lodge is located just outside of Dublin in a beautiful and quite area that we appreciated a lot after spending a day in the city. It is also close to a dart station and buses.
