Warm, welcoming, understated and refined luxury at its best. Quality, quality, quality.
Understated luxury that consistently delivers. Staff are welcoming, friendly and make you feel at ease and relaxed as soon as you arrive. Atmosphere and ambience is refined and exudes 'world class' without over-stating it. Quality driven and this can be seen in all aspects of the service, facilities and decor.
There is literally no faults I can give, other than I wish I had more time to spend there. Although it is a tad more expensive that other hotels in the area, its the quality and experience that makes up for the expense.

Really enjoyable as always!
I have stayed at the Merrion on many occasions, and always leave happy with our stay. The staff, the facilities and the general atmosphere / vibe are what make it.
I would say breakfast should be included, personally think that this should not be an "add on".

Breakfast was excellent. Beds are so comfortable.
Can be hard to get seating in the lounge rooms during the afternoon due to the amount of afternoon tea bookings. I know the staff are excellent and try to accommodate but it does put them under pressure and I feel residents should have priority.

This is excellence in Dublin!
I believe what sets you above others is the quality of the staff. The kind caring way they treat us. On the first day after a long international flight, our credit card did not work, after 3 attempts/call and a long time, it still did not work (that night and call 4-got the job done) However, the staff was exceedlingly kind and patient and made a very embarrasing situation, much better!
The doormen were always friendly and kind and the concierge gave us a GREAT dinner suggestion, that was spot on what we were looking for!
