Rove Downtown Hotel, Dubai

We went last August and I know this would be a late review but I wanted to share my experience during the stay in this hotel. It exceeded our expectation, everyone is accommodating and even surprised us for a birthday greetings and few pieces of chocolate since we went there for a birthday getaway. The room is superb, clean and overall the hotel smells nice 100000/10. I would like to thank the staff during our stay they made our vacation easy and happy. Would never be tired recommending this hotel to my friends :)

Excelente service .. convenient and comfortable stay My son’s 18 years birthday was during our visit and we were surprised when the made a beautiful greeting by leaving a board, a card and chocolate in a very cute way. This was a lovely gesture

The location is absolutely perfect for exploring! We utilised the free shuttle too! The rooms were spotless and all the facilities were amazing. What stood out the most was the team! Nothing was too much trouble, everyone smiled and acknowledged us around the entire hotel. Breakfast in the morning was great, lots of selection and really delicious. It was good to have the TGIFridays after a long day of exploring. The pool was never overly busy, spotless, lots of sun Loungers and attentive life guards . We absolutely cannot ignore how perfect the view is either! Looking at the burj daily was amazing. We will certainly be choosing the Rove chain on on our next trip away!

Value for money. We upgraded to a room woth Burj Khalifa view and it was certainly worth it. A chic hotel, close.to the Dubai Mall. Love that there is a convenience store adjacent to the hotel and the laundry facilities.

The hotel is outstanding, and I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Dubai. Highly recommended. I booked a room with a Burj Khalifa view, and every glance out the window was truly spectacular — absolutely worth it. The staff were fantastic, always friendly and ready to help. I loved everything about Rove.

Convenient location - 10mins walk from Dubai Mall, nice views of the cityscape. Breakfast was really good, decent variety of food options. The room was very basic and clean, just what was expected.

Paper cups rather than proper porcelain cups for the room - very quickly started leaking.

Love the hotel vibes, the location and very convenient to tourist

I’ve got first floor view to Burj Khalifa

Location was great, walking distance to the Dubai Mall. Staff were super friendly and kind, eager to help. Loved the 24/7 mini market inside the hotel, super useful.

The gym given the size of the gym area was fine, but could be expanded I think with a few more machines.

Room was adequate and well-appointed. Some free extras, like slippers, were on request, and told about this at check-in. Walk to Dubai Mall is <5 mins, with no roads to cross - very convenient. Small well-stocked mini-market in the hotel foyer. Special mention to the reception team, especially Pooja

Restaurant, including for breakfast, is TGI Fridays and the morning buffet from 06.30 is merely adequate. I expected better for the cost. Aircon cannot be turned off and max temp is 26degsC, although in the night it feels much cooler. However, opening a small window automatically turns off the AC but allows in traffic noise for south (Burj Khalifa) facing rooms is greater - mostly white noise with occasional loud cars that may disrupt sleep. So you can have either AC or open window. I requested printing in readiness for a meeting and was told 10 minutes. It was 90 minutes before I received my 6 pages, after several calls to reception. I was late for meeting.

A clean and comfortable hotel with an excellent location.

The only downside was the breakfast — limited space and a lack of variety in the dishes.

Amazing view of Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall. Very useful supermarket inside, open 24/7.

Restaurant "Friday" have good live music every evening. Unfortunately, dogs are allowed and their barking spoils the atmosphere.

Fab hotel! There is a mini mart and Costa onsite. The breakfast and TGIs is a buffet style with loads to choose from. Or you can order from the menu. The staff are very helpful. There's even a PS5 you can play on. Gym is air conditioned. It is a 10min walk to the Mall of which most is inside We were in the top floor (14th) and had amazing views of the cityscape and the Frame in the distance

The pool is a little small but don't let this out you off .

We loved the hotel's location as it is situated only a 15-minute walk from the Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. The hotel offers good value for money compared to other hotels in the Downtown area. While not very large, the pool area is perfectly fine, especially since it overlooks the Burj Khalifa. Our room also had a great view of it, which was an amazing sight at night. The staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful.

While the scent in all Rove hotel lobbies is always pleasant, the smell in the hallway leading to our room wasn't quite as appealing.

All round great place to stay. Great location, easy walk to Dubai Mall via the enclosed bridge, worth paying extra for the quality breakfast, convenient shop and TGI Fridays (with happy hour!) in the hotel complex, great friendly staff. We had a evening flight, reception kindly extended our check out time at no extra cost.

Finding the bridge to walk to Dubai Mall was a little tricky, easy once you worked it out!

Ramadan is very good in service. He help me check in and out smoothly. The location is great. I like there is super market here and game room, gym, swimming pool.

First day I had to change the room because the bathroom smelly.

What's not to like🤔. It has one of the best views in the city, a beautiful, large pool area, a restaurant and bar in the hotel with nighttime views of the Burg Khalifa, a 24 hour well stocked shop, huuuuge comfy beds, fluffy pillows and a really powerful shower. The staff are lovely, the social areas are really cool, and it has a free shuttle bus to the Mall of the Emirates, just in case you fancy going for a ski after all that shopping. All this for the price of a night in an airport hotel at Heathrow or Edinburgh. As I say.. really...what's not to like.

Location is very convenient, a sort stroll to Dubai mall, a store on the ground floor is very handy. Its a very good three star hotel, bus service is also very convenient. I d definitely recommend to others and come again!

Shuttle bus was so helpful.Staff were accommodating.Restaurant and small essentials shop located in hotel.Great Facilities.Handy Laundry room (Tokens from reception needed).

Area was quite busy traffic wise if you wanted to go anywhere.

50 AED for a single load of laundromat plus dryer is a bit costly.
