Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The resort is classic modern and provides all the comforts needed. The room was exceptionally clean and also very spacious. The view from the fifth floor over the Dubai skyline was very nice. The outdoor area is well done, with various cold pools and a nice beach area. There is a pathway in construction and I think (and hope) they will be connecting it all the way down towards the canal. Excellent gym and breakfast.

Limited dining options, either the main restaurant or a Japanese one. Both are good, but if you stay for longer than a couple of days, you will want to go and dine outside the hotel.

From the minute you walk into the property, it is so welcoming. The staff are so helpful. The rooms are beautiful and the service you get is fabulous.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the proper

There’s very little to not like. One of the finest stays I’ve had at any hotel. It is the place to stay in Dubai. The hotel organised a birthday welcome for my daughter, Ekaterina from guest services is an absolute star. Netsu was an amazing restaurant we dined there twice - the staff again were amazing. The service levels at this place are insane.

Very good hotel with relax environment. You can feel luxury without the rush of Dubai. A good and quality breakfast, and especially access to the Club Lounge for improved experience.

View from room looked out on ac units on a roof and the staff in the club lounge were very good, but quality of food there could have been better, it looked great but was tasteless

First time ever I am giving a 10, because this hotel is top!
We got a bottle of white wine in the room because we had a celebration. The bottle was still half. The next evening, without asking fresh ice in the bucket … unbelievable!

We were blown away yet again by the quality of service. The staff were absolutely exceptional. The club lounge was superb and we were looked after throughout the entire stay.

We had a disappointing experience with one member of staff at the rooftop pool however this was dealt with very well and rectified.

The MO is a five star plus hotel , so the hotel is exquisite. But what makes the difference is the genuinely friendly staff which go a step further and satisfy their customers’ needs by meeting their customers’ expectations and beyond. From the concierge, reception, guest relations, F&B , housekeeping and particularly the lounge on the lounge level, the service is five star and more.

We loved the attentiveness of the staff and the facilities was amazing!

I stayed in this hotel for a weekend in mid-September in superior club king room that was upgraded to deluxe room by the hotel at no cost.

Overall, the hotel meets brand standard. The common areas are well designed and kept. The service is generally very good and staff is supportive.

Food and drinks quality was exceptional in both breakfast serving and the club lounge afternoon tea and cocktails.

Speaking of the areas of improvement, the rooms are in need of renovation. I attach some pictures illustrating this.

Second comment is related to breakfast staff. Some really go above and beyond, the others are grumpy and do not even say “you’re welcome” to your “thank you”. Consistency is certainly an issue.

Third is related to checkout procedure. I received my bill at the checkout time that was considered as final. The amount seems to be reasonable, so I decided not to check it. After some time I got nearly 100 usd of additional charges for minibar. Paying this is not an issue, but one should get it during checkout to agree / disagree, not after the fact when you cannot say anything.

Fourth is related to welcome card that was addressed to the person called Mr Nisyan (?). This is not my name. Considering high cost of the accommodation I would better not receive any welcome letter at all than this.
