Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, Dubai

EVERYTHING!!! This is definitely my hotel of choice in Dubai. The facilities are amazing, the staff (with caveat on Executive Lounge - see my comment on what i didnt like - but everything else made up for it) are fantastic and very friendly and helpful, rooms are spotless and cleaned twice a day (morning and 7pm) - this coming from someone with OCD - yes, they are "hospital-grade" clean! Oh and, location, location, location...you walk into the mall of emirates directly from the hotel...no need to struggle with shopping bags..hands free can deliver to the hotel, concierge and bell boys are great and always willing to help even when your feeling alittle guilty..everyone is so nice and just always say a simple hullo and take the chance to find out if all is ok or if you need anything (that personal touch and genuine caring makes a world of difference, even on bad days - they manage to bring a smile to your face) its great for business, great for leisure/vacation- solo and family travel works well here, all ages - so its good for all...managers and staff are approachable and very responsive to make things happen and your stay better, ladies in red check in to see if you are ok, it feels like a home away from home....it has it all...I love it all!

The Executive lounge could be abit better/ "warmer" in the sense of the staffing (numbers and personalities of the personnel working in it)...too few staff (1 or 2) even when its super busy. I also found one staff to be particularly 'cold' on my last stay and I was not amused getting to breakfast one day at 10.50am and finding no food (breakfast ends at 11am on weekdays - so assumption is, you should have served by then, not you should have eaten your last bite and be exiting - right?)...this staff outright told me, sorry 10 minutes to breakfast end so, just pick whatever is left, the rest (which was basically everything excluding fruit and bread like I was a bird!) isn't available...I wasn't amused! Had alittle chat with her, she did sort of warm up/remember her manners towards the end. But, my point is, people pay a lot for the Executive Lounge, and it should therefore be a great experience especially in terms of staff interactions.

The executive lounge choice of food very limited , probably not worth paying extra for the lounge access , there was lot of road noise whilst at the pool due to the hotels location , the e11 probably came after the hotel was built ,

Room was spotless and comfy. This hotel is providing everything that a person may need during the travel. I am returning guest and I love the doormen - each of them is very attentive to everybody in the area.

All the things great, breakfast and facilities great and also the location especially when you travel with your family is awesome.

I asked hotel for my wedding anniversary to give me a meal or gift to surprise my wife but they just put some flowers in the without anything!

The reception manager, Turkish person, pity don't remember him name (could be Ozgun), really polite and professional. He did everything for our comfy stay!

Hotel lovely I had a room that opened out onto the pool. The staff were excellent, and the food in the restaurants and at the poolside was very good.

Poolside service was a little understaffed - it sometimes took a little while to find someone to take an order - but I wasn't in a rush, and when it came it was very good! Things to note - the traffic around the hotel can get nightmarish even for Dubai - this has everything to do with the fact that all the visitors to the mall use the entrance nearest the hotel's driveway so it can take time getting in and out. Note that in winter the poolside area doesn't get a lot of sun, due to the high sides and the sun being lower in the sky. It will defo get more between say April and October, but in the winter months it can feel chilly if the wind is blowing and you're damp from the pool.

The room is really spacious and the favorable location with MOE offers us fantastic experience in attactions,shopping, dinning and sightseeing and city walk. House keeping service is nice and the hotel is really generous in pure drinking water, which is quite an bonus in desert place.

The hotel stands next to the Emirates Mall, offering direct access. It's trully luxurious with big size rooms, as seen in the photos. We had exactly the same room like the photos. The staff was amazing. From the doorman to the receptionists and the maids, everyone was very polite, friendly and helpful! All were trying us to feel like home, and the managed it! Thank you so much for your exceptional hospitality. The breakfast had everything that you could imagine; fresh ingredients, freshly made eggs/omelettes/pancakes, fresh smoothies, even many vegeterian and vegan options. The lounge was perfect; not crowded, quiet (so anyone could either relax or work), offering also great selections of snacks and drinks.

The hotel (as a building and decoration) is one of the oldest in modern Dubai, therefore some furniture or fabrics have an "old" smell (forgive me if I am not describing it properly). However, this did not affect our stay and our mood. Also, the noise from the Sheikh Zayed road that have the rooms facing the Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach, may be disturbing for light sleepers; however, the view that these rooms have is fantastic!

Water volume from The shower faucet was too thin, mist-like. Would have preferred a faucet with more water flow, greater debit. The description of the room did not mention that it was with 2 single beds, though the photo did. I would have preferred a single large bed.

Excellent location in the mall, good housekeeping comfortable beds and helpful staff.

I feel the price is too much, I have stayed in this hotel 12 times over the years but I’m not sure I will be able to afford it again. Booking through kempinski website is even more expensive than external sites so my membership doesn’t come with any perks or discount

The staff at the hotel were fantastic, the room was large and amazing and the breakfast was the best we ever experienced. Overall it was a fantastic experience. Our amazing room attendant Mr. Dhanshukhnhai was very friendly and always made sure our room was and ready to the highest standard.
