Pool and the hotel is very calm

I liked the ocean view from the room. The reception staff Mr Hamza was extremely professional and kind handling my check in and the other staff who showed up quickly while there was a small inconvenience.

The dinner was not so good and the food requires a lot of improvement in regards to the freshness and taste plus the room cleaning needed attention. I could see some hair on the floor probably from the previous guest who stayed in the room so was a bit disappointing

We loved our room as it has a great view of the beach and Dubai eye. The bed and room were bigger than other hotels we've been. The food was great too! We enjoyed the breakfast buffet.

For our group who can't swim, the pool was not enjoyable. It was deep and the depth was same in the entire pool.

Great location, staff generally friendly and nice joined rooms. Kids pool could use some form of shading.

Booked 1/2 board and only allowed to eat in Buffet restaurant. They did relent and let us eat in Asian restaurant one evening which was appreciated but better explanation of 1/2 board necessary....

The staff and management are generous, welcoming, and ready to help if you encounter any issues. I was invited for complimentary lunch at JB's restaurant, and the food was fresh and delicious, I really loved it. Thanks to Mr. Nabeel. I was offered early check-in and late checkout. JBR totally has that great beach vibe, with restaurants, shops, a cinema, pharmacy, and play areas for the kids.

Suggestion: consider adding some slides at kids pool

Staff were excellent, very polite, helpful and friendly. Everyone from the staff at the entrance greeting us on our arrival and collecting the luggage, to the restaurant and reception staff. Gym and spa massage were of an high standard and professional level of service respectively. Would highly recommended and would stay there again

The staff were exceptionally nice, helpful and accommodating. The front desk staff, especially Mr. Buddikah, were very friendly, quick and understanding. At all my check-ins, this was the smoothest despite the queue. At Sundeck, Mr. Soji handled our table extremely well. Exceptional service. The food at Horizon was all good, not a single bad item, but nothing exceptional. The room was genuinely in good condition, the furniture does seem slightly old, however the sheets/towels were clean and the AC was a very efficient model. Even at check out, Miss Purity was there to assist and ensure everything went smooth.

Only two points stood out when discussing negatives. 1) Before reaching the Reception staff, there was a Mr. Mubarak, roaming around talking to guests. He did not greet me, he only tried to put people in front of me in the line. He did not apologize after or say a single word to me, or offer water like other guests. This initially soured my view, however as mentioned in the positives, the rest of the staff who I interacted with, without exception really showed exceptional service. 2) arguably, the elevators. Now to be fair, we visited at a peak time and the 3 older small elevators just could not handle the guests, without exception instances or up to 10 minutes of waiting or giving up and using the stairs (11th floor).

I would liked to have more veg options on the buffet .. both in dinner and breakfast. The fish which was at the dinner buffet was a little smelly .. my family didn't like it .. other than that everything at the hotel was amazing.. Keep it up guys

Friendly staffs and specially the lady that stationed near the entrance, her name is Purity, she is a gem. Very kind and accommodating specially to our daughter.

Adult pool is too deep

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The view was absolutely perfect, especially overlooking Ain Dubai, it really made the experience feel extra special. The room was spacious, comfortable and had plenty of space to relax, which we really appreciated.

The only downside was the noise, as sounds (possibly from doors closing in other rooms) could be heard inside our room.

Great location in JBR with easy access to the beach, marina and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable, the pool area was excellent and the staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. The views around the property, especially at night, really added to the experience. Overall it felt like a relaxing and well-positioned place to stay in Dubai.

Everything was perfect. - Great checkin support by receptionist, Ako and others as well. - Considered our special requests.. - The staff made every possible effort to delight our stay and were proactive in offering their services. - Had booked Halfboard meal package and was really impressed with the spread we got to see. Note for vegetarians - you can request the chefs for providing you options incase you are not comfortable with existing spread options. - The location and accessibility is just awesome. Really happy that I booked this place. - They have complementary access to their pools, gym, jacquizze, steam and sauna. Good job and great professionalism by the current staff of Amwaj Rotana, JBR.

As most of my family members are vegetarian, they had to manually discuss options with the serving team to get their desired food options.. Apart from that everything was just a great experience.
