Ibsens Hotel, Copenhagen

The location was near perfect for the metro and city. Staff were very friendly. Hotel was great value. Room was comfortable

It is a budget hotel (3 star), so judge it on that basis. However, it shares the facilities of the five star hotel attached and the three restaurants attached.

- Everything was very clean and the room was cleaned daily - Very central location, walked everywhere - Friendly staff - One free drink for guests in the afternoon - Everything went smoothly with our reservation

- The price was pretty decent for Copenhagen but the room was smaller than I expected - At first I had some doubts for the shower because it's literally above the toilet seat but it was better than I expected, it didn't "flood" at all and it was drying very quickly - I didn't like the permanent carpet on the floor, seemed a bit too outdated for me - The double bed was small

Staff amazing from start to finish. Really welcoming and informative. Great location, few minute walk from Norreport station and a not too far from the all the attractions. Lovely local feel to the area aswell. Room was spot on, clean and had everything we needed from a kettle, hair dryer and ironing board. Secure luggage storage was available for us to store our cases upon checking out.

The location was excellent, the neighbourhood was also very nice. My travel was work related, so I chose my hotel to be walking distance from the venue, although it was also easy to reach the city center by foot. The metro station is also just a few minutes walk away. The staff was also very kind and helpful. I liked the small bar by the bar and the option to grab a drink or a croissant during the day. Bonus point for the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!

It has nothing to do with the hotel… just the lack of courtesy from my neighbors and the slamming of doors.

Not much around compare to other streets and most places close early. But just in a few minutes you can get anywhere around.

The Hotel is near to Metro station (4 min) from where you can get anywhere in the city. Nice, clean with a scandinavian look. Absolutely worth it.

People were kind and friendly, the environment was cozy and warm. The whole place was clean, felt comfortable as if it’s a home! The place is so close to the metro and walkable to wonderful streets of copenhagen as well, I will definetely stay here again!

Very good location in the city, easy access to most key locations on foot or by public transportation. Also the staff was very welcoming and everyone spoke fluent English.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ibsen’s. Staff were friendly, gracious, and extremely helpful. Room was simple, in that Scandinavian way, impeccably clean, and cozy. And the lobby area is a very nice place to spend time.

We had asked for a quiet room but the morning trash truck picked up from the street below.

This hotel is in a great location. You can easily explore the city by foot, bicycle or metro. Easily reachable from the airport by metro. The hotel is lovely and we really enjoyed the Cozy hour (5 - 6 pm) where we were offered a free beverage.

Location was so convenient for city centre, restaurants, lakes, park and transport. The cozy hour is really very cozy and the free wine was delicious. Very cozy reception and friendly staff. Free luggage storage. Room was clean and cozy.

Bathroom could be cold and would have loved a fridge. Some info was not consistent, for example it was written in room info gym is open 24/7 but staff stay only open from 6am so ended up not going.

My room was very small

The staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Location was very convenient for getting to and from the airport as well as visiting various places in the city. I'd definitely stay here again.

Everything was goof

The location is great. Not too far from the Nørreport station. (only five minutes by walk) And this was our third time staying at the hotel, we liked every rooms we got, especially this one because it's a family room and probably the biggest one. Huge space. Love it.

I don't like the stairs in front of the hotel. When we arrive or leave with the luggages, it's not easy but only 2-3 steps is still okay. That's it.

Cosy hour was so lovely. I never thought I’d be the type of person to unwind with a glass of wine, but it was such a treat! Warm fire, cosy seats, free glass of wine and relaxing music. The staff were so kind, friendly, and seemed genuinely interested in what we were up to during our stay. The room was so cute! I chose the small room and it was perfect for us as a couple.

Generally a central location within 15 mins walking distance to everything. Very friendly staff. Great copy time where hotel gives guests a free drink at 6pm. Great idea.

Spacious room but is basic.

The location and staff were great. There's some street noise, and we did have an unexpected fire drill due to someone over utilizing a hairdryer, but otherwise, it was a convenient and restful stay.

The staff was very kind, helpful and accommodating. Our luggage was delayed and they kept in touch with us, gave us great recommendations and instructions. The breakfast was amazing and in a lovely setting.. The location was perfect.

This really isn’t a criticism - Our rooms were over the street, it was fine for us in late September but maybe more noise and activity during the summer for someone who wants quiet should choose a courtyard facing room.

Good breakfast provided by their sister hotel King Arthur, right next door. Location very close to the market hall & to the Norreport Metro and Rail stations. A free glass of wine or beer for ‘cozy hour’ in the evening was a lovely idea.

Small bathroom with shower curtain rather than screen, so floor gets wet. Often a bit of waiting time for the elevator.

Perfect location to explore the city. It's central so everywhere is walkable and it's close to the metro which makes transport to and from the airport very easy. Also right by the main shops, restaurants and canals.

To be fair the room was a little smaller than I was expecting but I guess it's understandable given the location and need to accommodate as many visitors as possible, but it didn't matter because I was out all day and I still got a good night's sleep.

Location was brilliant and enjoyed the cosy hour.
