Steel House Hostel, Copenhagen

Great spot, close to everything. We walked everywhere by food. Electric sockets at every bed plus lockers and towels 👍🏻 hostel is right next to a nice pond. Quiet area, no noise in the night. There is a kettle which you can use for free next to the coffee machine. A lot of activities.

It's almost too big which makes it harder to socialize. You have to pay for using the kitchen. Check in at the desks was a bit confusing but staff is there to help. Our 6 bedroom was very small, especially the shower. (But! the shower and toilet are separate, which is good)

Friendly, lots to do in the hotel, small but comfy, balcony, close to all attractions and buses/metros

It was very hot in the room, had to have balcony door open as air con didn’t work

The staff was nice & helped me out with good food recommendations, public transport was super accessible.

The location is too far from the old town, there's nothing really to walk around.

The room wasn’t very clean and i actually had photos but was too busy to forward them to the property. It was obvious what areas were not cleaned for a prolonged period of time- cobwebs and accumulated dirt behind opaque shower door; fingerprints on railings of top bunk beds; mold/ mildew in bathroom. The shower drain was also clogged. The refrigerators in the kitchen were full and dirty too. The rest of the property seemed cleaner tho.

It was very clean and comfortable, fancy compared to most hostels I’ve stayed at - more like a hotel. They had events such as live music, free walking tours and quiz nights that were good. The main area had a very social vibe and the bar was pretty neat.

You have to pay for the kitchen which is a bit silly, and for the size of the hostel it is not big enough. Everyone was queuing to use the stoves and at multiple times there weren’t enough pans, cutlery, etc. In fact despite paying for the stay you have to pay for everything (the pool, gym, pool table, luggage lockers) so it was a bit corporate.

So many great facilities. Loads of room to chill out and a huge kitchen to prepare food if you wanted! Also a bar and food options!

Great location, very clean rooms, lots of people around to meet and hang out. Fairly cheap breakfast coffee and snacks-beer.

Rooms quite small and bunk beds also but considering its a hostel, it is value for money.

self check-in using the app is broken. it doesn't allow you to pre-checkin, and just shows a generic message of "something went wrong". also checkout using the app is simply not working, but staff said it's not needed.

This place was great for my kids, from the live entertainment to the old-school arcade games. So lively and fun. Would definitely recommend it for families with older children.

The double rooms were extremely small. Bed fits between window and wall.

If you want somewhere just to put your head for a night, excellent.

The mobile phone keycard, it didn't work. Had to go all the way back to reception for a physical card. However it was sorted quickly.

Nothing to grumble about

Very good location, very close to the center. In my opinion, It is more than a hostel. It has a lot of facilities (e.g quite big kitchen, pool) and every night there is a different activity (basic level but ok). The stuff is quite helpful.

Our room was small with no real free space. (4-bed room booked by 2 persons). It would be better if they had some stuff to clean more frequently the "public" spaces of the hostel.

The room and bathroom were very clean
