Hotel SP34, Copenhagen

Exceptional service, staff very friendly and definitely exceeded my expectations. A lot of atmosphere, meeting new people and they had thought of everything - including a daily run station with maps, towels and water!

The location of the hotel was amazing and was only a short walk away from most things in the city. We had requested a quiet room and this was granted as we slept so well. The staff at the hotel were so helpful and friendly - we couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Location was perfect, walking distance from all the shops, cafes and landmarks.

Location. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Our room was ok but you could see the walls could use a bit of a fixing. Paint was scratched at some parts.

Breakfast staff were attentive, breakfast was fresh and healthy, LOTS of outlets, and if the do not disturb sign was on your door, a bag of replacements was left for you (towels, tea, toilet paper).

Twin beds on Booking.com is only a preference, not a guarantee. It is literally up to whatever is available when you arrive despite what you select, and the hotel told us just that. Also, the toilet paper was hung where it could get wet from the shower.

Breakfast was amazing. Lots of choice, including vegetarian/vegan choices.

Maybe better lighting in the room.

The gym is very small and could need some more love.

I thought the free wine from 5-6 was a fantastic idea, got people together.

The gym was a bit disappointing, small and dark. Also a shame to get a bed with twin mattresses when requesting a double room.

Excellent breakfast every morning with fresh food, smoothies and delicious coffee! Glass of wine every evening was a lovely treat. Staff were friendly, especially at breakfast. Shower was nice. Nice location, short walk or metro to all tourist attractions

Room was a little dark. Bed could have been comfier and we were only given small throw pillows to sleep on— not the worst but also not the best nights sleep!

We were very happy with our stay. The staff were very helpful and always available - 24 hrs reception. They have a great space for socialising and their happy hours wine was superhit. It was very easy to unwind durig these hours. The room was good size for our baby to run around and the location was very central too.

Excellent americano, comfortable bed. The wine hour was a really sweet move - it got the whole lobby chatty and created a nice vibe downstairs. Very friendly staff members.

Windows of the deluxe panoramic rooms are facing a narrow street and during both nights we were woken up by the noise of the garbage car emptying the bins or something similar to that.

Great hotel with an excellent relaxed atmosphere Breakfast is superb with plenty of choice with mini scrambled eggs and sausage for us brits washed down with an excellent Cappuccino or maybe two Some reviews say the hotel could do with an update but honestly that’s just paintwork where cases have knocked into walls and mainly along the corridors. We stayed in a large window room, size was fine and the shower and bed were excellent…. yes lighting is a little trendy dim but we were only in the room to sleep….so it was fine The reception bar is modern and relaxed and the free wine o’clock is a great touch We had a late flight and was able to leave our luggage in a special locked room all day…..thanks for that We used the train from the airport and the Metro to the airport……Metro is better and faster But you can’t fault either both clean, quiet and quick. We didn’t use public transport over the weekend just walked everywhere Would recommend going on the canal tour the first day as it gives you a great overview and where to investigate more

Breakfast was great, everything is stored in Weck jars which probably helps in portion control. I didn't find it annoying at all and it was great start to the day. Rooms are tidy and house all the things you would expect for the price you pay. Location is great, just a short walk to most things you'd want to go to in the city center. My initial reason to stay here was to experience a B-Corp hotel, and whether there would be noticeable sacrifices to be more sustainable; I did not experience any significant shortcomings at all. I recommend this stay and would stay here again.

The hotel is in the city centre and with that come some parking issues, though at no fault of SP34. In the street there was broken glass on the street from at least 2-3 car windows, it is recommended to clear out your car after parking. There are also some parking garages nearby, such as a modern Q-Park, but I have not tried this.

The hotel is relaxing, and the staff are really friendly. Nice special touches such as the free wine hour, and gorgeous organic breakfast foods.

Only minor thing is that the lifts are very slow!

This is a fantastic hotel with a young fun vibe! The room was smallish but comfy beds and spacious bathrooms. The happy hour is great fun with a foyer full of guest enjoying a free happy hour by the fireplace. We never made it to the later session for a nightcap but it would have been fun also! Great area for exploring Copenhagen, lots of cafes and easy walking to explore the sights.

We originally booked a room with a large window but the street is noisy at night so we were moved to an even better room at the back of the hotel - that was much cheaper!

Breakfast - wide variety of organic food. Spaceous room, comfortable beds, extra electric radiator in room. We got corner room with nice view to the square.

When we booked apparently we chose room without breakfast, not awared that we did so, we needed to pay for it extra. Misleading on Booking site. In bathroom the shower glass is too narrow - water gets all around bathroom.

Room design is cold - not very Hygge. My room looked onto a Main Street and was a bit noisy. The elevator for my specific room was not working but front desk helped me with my luggage.

Lighting in the room was not great but that is personal opinion.

Design of the room, spacious, comfortable bed, great bathroom, nice big windows, located in a good central area, close to metro and main train station. Danish brand of toiletries in the bathroom was superb!

No coffee machine in the room (a kettle and instant coffee instead). Only one lift and most times had to wait to go up or down. The staff working at reception looked as if they didn't want you there, but staff at breakfast and cleaners were lovely.

We didn't realise that booking a premium room allowed us a free bar at all times. Magic. The place was really great and location perfect for our city break weekend.

The staff really do go above and beyond to ensure you have a comfortable stay here. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The beds, duvets, and pillows are very comfortable, so we slept very well, and the hotel is in a great location, so you can easily walk to all the main attractions. We didn't have breakfast this time around, but from previous stays, there is lots of choice, and the coffee is good. Wine hour (5pm-6pm) and nightcap hour (10pm-11pm) are a lovely complimentary touch for guests to enjoy the downstairs spaces.

Not a dislike, but the rooms that face the street could do with having the windows soundproofed if this is structurally possible. If you are a light sleeper, bring some ear plugs or request a room that doesn't face the street. It didn't bother us as I always carry earplugs when travelling, and my partner is a heavy sleeper.

Nice hotel in a rather quiet area really close to city center. Excellent location for Metro and S-trains to travel to various tourist attractions inside and outside Copenhagen. Staff was very helpfull and breakfast was really good.

Breakfast and location was very good. We were a family and the food selection suited everyone. We were very close to many interesting places in the area and the coast.

It was expensive and as a couple we had two single beds.

The room was very comfortable and a good temperature most of the time. Wine hour was great value. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice and the restaurant itself looked lovely. There was water and tea/coffee/kettles in the room which was a nice touch. Excellent location - could walk to many places and the train was very close if not.

It was a little hot and the room was on a road so it could be noisy in the morning with the window open. Staff seemed confused about breakfast times which resulted in us missing breakfast on the first day.

The ambience was fabulous, lovely friendly helpful staff.
