Staff were really not friendly and nice. In addition, the room was a bit dirty and had blood stains on the sheets. Be aware that there are constructions all around the hotel - we did not find this problematic as we slept with eaeplugs

Breakfast at nextdoor Cafe was very good. Had to pay but discounted and very filling and convenient. Parking very close to hotel. Across the street from start of tours, things to do/see so good location. Nearby restaurants, bakeries, bars, etc. Bathroom had heated floors and room temp was comfortable.

Uppn arrival, assigned room smelled of smoke (in a smoke-free hotel). Returned to front desk and asked to change rooms. Staff wasn't authorized to do this but when pushed a bit (we have smoke allergies) he contacted manager who authorized upgraded room at no cost as there weren't comparable rooms available. This was a very nice surprise and much-appreciated. Staff was ill-informed on parking options (they don't own cars!). Seemed to not know information about anything to help tourists.

Loud banging noises around 7 am in the morning from next door that were either pipe noises or construction.

The room was very stylish and comfortable. There were beautiful chairs throughout the hotel with comments about the designs. They had a lovely wine hour where you could gather with the guests and have a wine. The location was great. We arrived very early and we're able to store our luggage.

The lady on reception when we arrived was not particularly helpful or friendly, but all the others were. We had construction noise from next door starting at 7am .

Pretty convenient location.

Room was in front of the construction. So it was really loud early in the morning, “wonderful” view in top.

The location was very central to the central train station as well as the metro. My room was clean and spacious. Some of the staff were extra friendly and helpful. Wine hour was a bonus!

A little bit of noise with my room facing the main road but they supplied ear plugs which worked well.

The pillows were not very comfortable in the bedroom

I like that it was very accessible to everything and was only walking distance to transports and high street. Breakfast tasted good. And I really appreciate it that I was able to check in early after being pickpocketed from the metro.

I did not like that outside of my window was a construction site so I could not open it, and I feel suffocated usually when my curtains and windows are closed. Also, I feel like breakfast was too expensive and that was not enough for my long winter time walk. Other thing are that my tissues looked kind of used and it looked to me like it was there for a long time and wasn’t changed prior to me coming in.

Cosy and very welcoming. In an ideal location for transport from the airport and for sightseeing.

Great location, very welcoming staff. The room is not only with good design, but also with great functionality for travelers to organize their own stuff.

The water pressure is not stable for the sink, shower, toilet. Also water temperature is fluctuating when using…. The bed structure is quite shaky and makes a lot of sound when you move your body during lying on the bed. For the cleanliness part, I found hair on the floor of my bathroom on the first day checking in. The next day, the cleaning staff even left a rag in the center of my room…. - Last, Understanding the hotel’s luggage room exists is only to provide convenience for the travelers, we will have to bear the responsibility in the end. However the front desk does not mark or put any tags before we store our personal luggage before putting into the luggage room, which may not be the most secure way. The staff even hand the keys for us to handle the luggage directly, it’s ok to move the luggage by ourselves, but under the circumstances of 0 staff will make me question what if someone just took others luggage directly? This is my main concern of the SOP of the luggage room, hope it can be improved, to provide more security.

The location is amazing, very centra, close to all the main things and close to bus and train stops. Even though our room faced a busy street the room was quiet. Everything was clean and the room was generous in size when compared to the European standard.

The following things could use an update, although none of it is pressing: - Hallways, could be more cozy and easily accessible. Pained wood looks like it has been painted often and feels sticky to the touch. - Clothing cabinet in the room - Could be changed out for something more accessible and nicer looking. - Room locks - Even though it's quite charming to have an actual key to your room we once had to wait quite a while to get our key from reception since the staff was busy attending to other guests. Not a huge thing but could have been if we had been pressed for time.

Good location, 10 minutes walk from Copenhagen Hoved Banegaarden Central Station. Comfortable but old fashioned. The bed was very good, the bathroom was small but quite functional. The coffee maker didn’t work, the air con was off for late autumn/winter/early spring. Some light bulbs were out. We had an extra hour late checkout with no excess charge.

I loved it.

Hotel Alexandra was a good value stay in Copenhagen for us. It's well located within easy walking distance of the centre. Copenhagen's public transport system is affordable, is accessible nearby, and makes other parts of the city within easy reach Staff were friendly and fairly helpful. Rooms were simple, but adequate. A free drink is available each evening, and there is coffee available too. Unfortunately these weren't explained on arrival. The adjoining cafe is good, popular and offers a slightly discounted breakfast to guests. I would put the hotel on my list of possible hotels if visiting again. Be aware that currently (March 2025) there is a large amount of noisy building work taking place in buildings around the hotel, so you may wish to check to find out if it has been completed as it could affect your sleep quality.

Location. Quirky 1960s style in the room that was so attractive.

Early check in wasn't available the night before. Pity, since this would have permitted us some extra time in bed before a very early flight. We asked for the receipt/invoice on payment at check-in, but we're refused this as well, being told that this would be given to us only on check out. The receptionist on check out made up for it all though, very cordial and apologetic. On that basis, I'd stay again.

We got a free upgrade to a very commodious double. We particularly loved the classic Danish furniture.

Nice boutique hotel in a great location. Metro is very nearby and central shopping area is easily walkable. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The 1950s theme was a little overdone to the point that it impacted the comfort of the room, which felt shabby rather than chic. The bed was also quite hard and I was glad it was only for one night.

The hotel is a bit old and some of the facilities are not the best. However, i would still recommend this hotel if you are looking for a not super expensive and very central hotel!

Everything was great apart from upon departure we went to collect our bags from the luggage store room and the member of staff left the room door unlocked leaving it open to anybody untrustworthy.

The hotel is very central located, and the 012 restaurant, where the breakfast is served, soooo great, such a cute place. My room was in the 4th floor with the window to the big street, can be loud, dont have to be. I love to open a window and not sleeping with an AC. And the tiny little house bar next to the reception, what I needed after the competition. ;-) The Service is very kind and helpful.

The bed was comfi, but just small movements and it creaked. But all in, all more than fine :-)

I liked the location and design of the hotel, the bar inside the hotel, the kindness of the staff.

I am a person with dust allergy and unfortunately I suffered during the stay, even if the room looked clean and in good condition. I would suggest a better cleaning related to dust.

Lovely hotel, in a great location only 10mins walk from Copenhagen Central station. Staff were so friendly and I would highly recommend trying the breakfast while you are there!

Excellent location within walking distance to inner city and metro. The hotel is lovely, kept in typical Danish style and design. Nice size room, however no mini bar, which surprised me. Any decent hotel offers a mini bar.

Location was perfect to explore Copenhagen, close to the railway too so we could visit Malmo too - 35 mins away! Staff were excellent, extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel offer a free glass of wine each evening at 5pm, which is lovely to come back to after a busy day out.

View from our room - we overlooked the back courtyard area and there were bins and rubbish to see and the building behind was undergoing renovations (which I know can’t be helped) but when you pay for a Superior Room - I guess we expected a better view.
