The coffee machine in the room didn’t work

This is a fine hotel in a great location. The twin beds were surprisingly comfortable. And a very unique design (from US). They used this funny box spring supportive mattress with a thinner mattress on top. The water pressure and heat in the shower were top notch and there were some closets to put our stuff. The staff were friendly for the most part and the free wine hour was a nice touch. I had breakfast there twice and had some delicious food. Appreciated the working elevator. Great windows in the room overlooking other apartments.

This was not what I expect of a four star hotel. The facilities were older and there was no working HVAC unit in the room. We had a teeny little radiator that didn't even heat up that much. Thankfully, we weren't too cold, but if you like a room to be warmer than 65f degrees, then you might want to stay somewhere else. There was considerable construction going on in the courtyard outside our windows but thankfully, they didn't start until after 7am, or 9am most days.

Very pleasant place with exceptional design in the center of Copenhagen. The breakfast is really recommended.

Location was good. Near trainstation, Tivoli and city center. At room was possibility to iron and make coffee/tea.

I was first two nights in this hotel another room because my own planning changes. That room was very good. In this room wifi didn't work well. In my opinion bathroom was not nice. The upper path of the wall was glass. I was there alone but the room was for two person. You can see if the another is taking shower or sitting on the toilet seat. Also if you don't cower window, have lights on and sitting on the toilet seat, people from another house can see you 😂

Very cozy room for one person. Bathroom was big and level for make up was large. Room was quiet. Location was also good. Near trainstation, Tivoli and city center. At room was possibility to iron.

Good location and stylish hotel

Curtains didnt block out any light and limited sound proofing to the busy roads/ area outside. Also our wifi did not work the entire time were there - even after discussing with the staff multiple times

Bed was comfortable and the room as well as bathroom was a good size. GREAT location!

Well designed Danish interior makes it feel more like an authentic Danish experience than other chain hotels. Location is also good, easy access to metro and from the airport.

The hotel is quite nice. Staff is friendly. The bed was super comfy! The location is perfect! Very close to everything really.

This was a perfect hotel for my solo trip to CPH. In a great location (near tivoli food hall, the train station, and walkable to the center of town). It was quiet and cozy and the breakfast was amazing!!

The hotel was in a great location, close to all the action in the middle of Copenhagen! The bed was also super comfy and the room was very spacious! The bathroom had a bath, which was really nice! The breakfast/brunch cafe next door was also super yummy!

Unfortunately the wifi didn’t work for us the entire time, which would have been a real issue if we didn’t have data, as we were travelling from overseas. The room was also very hot, and the aircon didn’t seem to work (but we opened the windows which really helped!)

Stylish 60's design room with a comfy bed. Loved it! Location was perfect, close to town but not right in the centre which suited us. Everything walkable.

Bedroom was comfortable and decoration was nice, but we found the team at the reception and at the cafe super nice. Edea has treated us perfectly, with the perfect sense of humor, always helpful, sharing tips about the town, places to go (actually one of the best experiences we had on this trip was thanks to Edea). Super special, hope we are able to come back soon.

I loved the room. It was a comfortable space with great furnishings. The location was ideal to walk around the old part of Copenhagen. The breakfast available (for a fee) on-site, was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel feels like a museum of midcentury danish furniture design, very cool! Well designed, clean and comfortable. Quite close to city center, the metro station and Tivoli gardens. The breakfast is divine!

Housekeeping never came to our room during our stay and we're not sure why. I would have liked to have a hair dryer in the room.

Beautiful decor, perfect location for exploring the city.

There is an honestly bar but it would be nice to be able to get a drink from a bar at the end of the night.

The hotel is close to the city hall square and the metro station, and it is quite easy to find it. The room is clean and tidy.

There are not enough sockets in the room. The building opposite to the hotel is under construction，so it is a bit noisy around the hotel.

The premise of Hotel Alexandra - to celebrate Danish architecture and design - was evident from the front desk area to the sensational room based in the innovative furniture wirks associated with Denmark. The spacious room ( with totally separate bathroom) was on the corner of the building which gave wonderful views in different directions! The location was definitely within easy walking distance to Tivoli Gardens, main squares / shopping, train station. The staff - particularly Katz - were helpful (including when I inadvertently mispunched a number in the room safe). A funky bar, a sunny courtyard, bright artworks, descriptive explanations of designs on show, happy ‘wine’ hour, a lift, 24/7 front desk - all these aspects enhanced my 4 day Copenhagen experience! Hotel Alexandra is highly recommended!

A slight downside is that the adjoining cafe - whilst a bustling enterprise with fab staff and delicious dishes - especially the coffee - does close around 4pm. It is extremely popular with locals, so it’s wise to reserve for breakfast (as strongly suggested by hotel)- but, it has a limited range. If you want to taste a typical ‘open sandwich’ or pastry, you will need to look elsewhere. There are numerous nearby restaurants and the Urban Indian across the road was packed with locals at 9pm and the food was wonderful!

The location was fantastic! Right near Tivoli Gardens with lots of transit options nearby. Very convenient for getting around but also close enough to walk around all the main areas. The room was lovely and the bed was comfortable. Having a big desk was a bonus this time. I really liked the history of Danish design and the care taken with all the decor in the hotel.

The key was large and requested to be left at the desk when you went out, which is not a problem except a couple of times it took a while to get the key back when I returned. A very minor inconvenience!

The hotel room design was cool, very true to the description and cozy. Hotel personnel was kind and helpful. You can rent your bike directly at the hotel which is great! Quite close to the city centre. Rooms had a proper hairdryer. Generally I had a good experience staying here.

The coffee at breakfast wasn't the best. The room was clean, but somehow could have been a little bit cleaner to make me fully happy, it was in the little things (there were some stains on the walls, maybe a repaint would have given the room a fresher look)

It was an easy walk to the hotel from the train station. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful on arrival. The rooms were clean and comfortable - not luxurious but excellent value for money. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Located over the road from Radhuspladsen and handy to so much of Copenhagen.

Single beds pushed together for double that then slid apart.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally pleasant experience. The standout feature was the decoration and spaciousness of my Verner Panton room, it was larger than I expected. Additionally, the location is incredibly convenient, with a train station just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the city. Moreover, the breakfast at the café downstairs was excellent, offering a good variety of delicious options. Overall, if you prioritize space and location and can overlook a few minor inconveniences, this hotel is a solid choice.

On the downside, I did notice some dust on the bed and hair in the toilet and towel, which was a bit disappointing. The building itself is quite old and I could feel some shaking whenever a car drove by, which might be bothersome for light sleepers.

The hotel’s location is ideal if you want to be within walking distance from transport hubs and main attractions. I love the interior, the kooky key-ring and wide selections of chairs dotted around the hotel. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. And the happy hour for guests was a lovely touch, and certainly appreciated.

There were a few spotlights in the bathroom above the sink that were missing bulbs.

Small rooms

The rooms were nice and clean. The location was absolutely perfect! Theres wine hour from 5-7pm which is a nice bonus.

The staff was kind but not super helpful. we weren't able to pay for our stay right away which I found a bit strange. There were no towles in our room when we arrived and the shower was leaking.

Great location. Hotel has a 50s theme. Add the breakfast. It’s great value with lots of choice and you won’t find better locally. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Everyday for 2 hours you can mingle with hotel guests in the lobby with a free glass of wine.

They don’t clean your room unless you put the note on your door before 9am. Toilet paper was fairly low quality
