Great location for the CP Half Marathon and location to view the city

The room is in a little need of TLC, but still a great price

The room was large, with a huge bay window containing a 2 seater sofa. The Finn Juhl furniture in the room was both stylish and comfortable. The bathroom was modern, and having a double sink was great. Double glazing meant we did not hear the 6 lanes of traffic on HC Andersen boulevard outside. Complimentary wine in the evening was much appreciated.

The room was a little chilly and we needed to turn the radiator up to its maximum setting. Overnight the room was too hot, but turning down the heating meant it was too cold in the morning. The carpet and curtains were low quality, but did the job.

Breakfast was a pleasant surprise - delicious and healthy. The room was cozy and clean. All staff were friendly and helpful. Location is excellent!

I wish I could have got the room a bit early after my overnight flight, but I wouldn't blame the hotel much for it

Interesting, in the style of the 5os /60s simple, practical. Lovely restaurant to the side for breakfast or brunch.

A little noisy at night due to proximity to bars - sadly only discovered the free ear plugs as we were packing up!

a little noisy as we were in room facing side street and could here the dance club down the street… but we are in a city centre so noise is expected! The bedroom was perfect, however the ensuite could do with a bit of refurb as a little tired looking.

For a couple, the 2 single beds were a bit odd. Booked double.bed but got 2 singles pushed together.

The smell of washroom, there is a continuous bad smell from the pipe or the bottom of the toilet.

The hotel advertised its room furniture as designer pieces, which didn't quite meet my expectations, The sofa was very dirty, and the room we stayed in on the first day smelled bad, but they changed our room on the second day.

It was in a central location and did have some aspects of mid-century modern vibes. The building itself was clean and a great aesthetic. Blackout curtains, heater worked, amenities. Hotel overall was quiet!

My bed was a single, super narrow, but long enough bed and since I am tall fit me but it was so bouncy. Not comfortable. Every time I moved the springs would bounce and move a lot! It was facing a busy boulevard however if you close the windows you can’t hear anything. My bathroom had a constant fan noise yet nothing was to turn it off, if you closed the door though you would only hear a slight faint humming. No fridge if that is something you seek!

Bed mattress topper moved about a fair bit, and duvet was a bit thin for the change in seasons, but still very comfortable.

The hotel is very nice, very well located (close by Tivoli, city council and Stroge) and with great staff (received information on everthing needed). The furniture in the hotel is very well curated with rooms very very cute. Comfortable beds and rooms with all necessary equipment for a good stay.

Being located in a main street, improving the quality of the windows in relation to external sounds would be nice - although they provide earplugs.

As the information states, it was like staying in a design museum, but one where all the furniture is there to be used and enjoyed. We had a problem with building work taking place from 7am outside our bedroom window. BUT when I asked to change rooms, the receptionist could not have been more helpful and moved us to a quieter room immediately. They turned a poor experience into a very good one. Excellent service.

We appreciated very much the complimentary upgrade provided by reception when we arrived since we extended our stay on the first day.

The shower area in rhe hathroom o needs to clean of mould.

The Hotel Alexandra could have been the perfect place to stay, as it was centrally located near the train station, across the street from the Copenhagen City Hall (Rådhus) and furnished with authentic Danish mid-century furniture. This place still uses an actual room key which is attached to an original heavy bronze key chain. It's an old school operation where guests drop their key in the key box upon exiting the hotel and ask for it upon return. Not sure how secure the entire operation is, but it felt very civilized.

Our week long stay perfectly coincided with Pride Week, (9-17 Aug 2025) with its thunderous main stage located between our room and City Hall. While I think it effected my room rate, I know it effected my pre-11:30 pm sleep. Our initial room (206) was little tight, so Mrs. ARR skillfully negotiated an upgrade to a spacious corner unit (428) where I created this Report to an unendingly pulsating/bass-heavy/industrial/dance beat. Not sure if the words I typed are a little better, but I know I typed them a little faster.

One of the most amazing breakfasts I've ever eaten!

It is furniture and a style called Copenhagen. I recommend it to travelers visiting Copenhagen for the first time. The location is also comfortable for travelers. It faces a main street, so it feels safe, and at the same time, it is not noisy, so you can feel at ease.

I chose it knowing this myself, but there was no bathtub.

Great location near to train station, Tivoli and the lovely Uni of Copenhagen area. Loved the decor and the bed was comfortable. Staff were super helpful and friendly. A decent 3 star hotel.

Air con didn't run very cold, so it was quite stuffy in the small room. Windows opened onto the courtyard to get fresh air, but cafe staff and the builders next door woke you up early. This was Sept, but I wouldn't want to be in the room in summer. No refrigerator in the room, so we were running to reception to get the milk we stored there if we made a tea or coffee. Hairdryer almost impossible to use if you have issues with your hand and can't hold a large button down.

The hotel was ideally located and very impressive due to the design aspects. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Room service was more a case of 'new toilet rolls and make the bed', as they didn't check / provide new bathroom accessories or towels, didn't refill things such as the tea and coffee or empty the bins in the rooms? A shame, as for such a 'designer' hotel, it was the small thing's that it was lacking.

Rooms were small

The location is near stroget the main shopping street, you cross the street then you find stroget and at the end you cross the street to find Nyhavn, also near the hotel is tivoli gardens.

The staff not helpful, our room which was extremely small can’t enough for 2 bags, and when we ask to change it and we insist they told us that we can make check out and leave the hotel because there is no availability, and they told us to wait the manager, we wait for 2 hours and when he arrive he told us same that we can make check out and he will refund our money ( which is not acceptable at all) but finally he got us another bigger room .

The design was great. Retro 70s furniture from Danish architects. Great breakfastspot next doors, you could book via reception for better price menu.

We didnt get the room we expected for first two nights. Bathroom was small and bit insufficient. Then we got our deluxe corner room which was superb.

Quite noisy traffic sound (lots of sirens) during night time since room was facing main street. Small bathroom with small shower and short shower curtain. Rain shower did not work properly.

Excellent location and friendly staff. We were able to store our luggage with the reception before our check in. Nicely furnished room with a good amount of space, comfy beds.

Luggage storage is not the biggest, but we can't complain too much as it was great we could store things before check in.

Great location so close the the metro, shops and tivoli, staff were very friendly and bedroom design was fab
