Hotel Covington Riverfront, Cincinnati

Security was questionable appeared anyone could enter the hotel and key card access was not required for elevator. Some doors were zip tied so they didn’t latch or lock

It's good walking distance to Alot of places

When we showed up the entire hotel was taken over by a wedding. I was not able to enjoy the hotel as much as planned due to this. Staff seemed to be too busy dealing with the wedding to keep up with helping other guests. There was a very loud atmosphere from the wedding and the house keeping early in the morning the following day

Coppins Restaurant was wonderful. Wait staff there was very attentive and friendly!!! Property is very beautiful!

NOISE! We were in the North building directly across from bar on corner of Madison and 7th. VERY loud street noise (boisterous people talking loudly, sirens, and loud people in hall) until 3:00am and sirens until 4:00am. Saturday night was better but still very noisy. Also, lighting in bathroom is terrible for ladies putting on makeup. No direct lighting over vanity, just backlight behind the mirror. Knowledge bar bartender was a little rude and dismissive. We seemed to be bothering him. I would expect better for $16 cocktails.

Clean, great staff, safe area

Mattress was very soft which gave me a back ache and they needed better lighting in bathroom and outside mirror area

The staff and how quiet the rooms are. We stayed 5 days with weddings and parties going on and never heard them. Fantastic accommodation!

We loved staying at Hotel Covington! The atmosphere was friendly but upscale. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Housekeeping made our bedding and refreshed our towels every morning. Coppins is a must visit! Delicious food inside the restaurant, nothing better. You have to ask for Lisa when you go!

The only thing we didn’t love, that wasn’t even a huge deal to us, was that our room view was the parking garage meaning we kept the curtains closed for the majority of our stay.

No pool

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. Walking in, took my breath away... Literally! I did not expect it to be so lovely. The room was even better! Beautifully done room! The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable! Luscious, fluffy pillows and a great mattress! Wish we could have had more nights here!

The only thing I didn't like, which is not the hotels fault at all, but just want to make others aware. We were on the street side, and you can hear a lot of street noise. Again, I do not blame the hotel at all as that is something out of their control.

Great location. The room and amenities are fantastic. Very comfortable. The staff were helpful and courteous.

Service at the restaurant (Coppins) was friendly but not very attentive. Food was delicious (duck dinner) but neither of our sides were put through to the kitchen, and forgotten about. However, the food and drink we received were fantastic!

Location is wonderful, beds are very comfortable and hotel is clean!

Minor things need fixing ... Shower door didn't seal, towel holder/hook loose and shower knob/handle needs tightening. Was double charged for another reservation, but they corrected this.

Service was great. Their shuttle service was excellent. They are friendly and attentive. Everything we asked for was delivered and then some.

The only minor thing would be breakfast not included. For the rate, I would think breakfast would be. But not a major issue.

The room was large and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Location is excellent. Lots of fun restaurants and shops in the general area. Rooms are modern with many nice amenities.

Noise. There is very little soundproofing. We could hear every conversation in the hallways, in adjoining room, and from the patio area. The hotel hosted several weddings and events while we were there so lots of celebrating into the early morning hours.

Gorgeous hotel located in the perfect location. Close to local unique businesses, and across from downtown Cincinnati. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bar drinks were delicious. Plan to stay here again for future trips to this area, loved everything about it!

It’s a gorgeous property located in a beautifully restored part of Covington, Kentucky. It’s still walking distance from the Roebling Bridge which gives full access to downtown Cincinnati.

The hotel is well located even though it's not by the riverside. The valet service is very pleasant. The style is very charming and the staff does their job perfectly. We enjoyed the decor, and while the overall building isn't new (be aware if you're seeking a modern hotel), the restaurant, bar, and lobby offer a unique atmosphere. Regarding the floors, the elevator is newly renovated and the corridors are somewhat "old" and a bit dark, but frankly, the renovation is beautiful (note: if you don't appreciate the sound of wooden floors, this might not be for you!) There's no coffee in the room and tokens are provided (either delivered or to be picked up downstairs) and the mini bar is well-stocked - with a fridge.

We mostly thought highly of it... But if you don't like renovated hotels, don't book! But honestly, the style and appearance are very well redone, very modern and stylish... There's no coffee in the room, but you can request it by phone or go get it downstairs - simple. For us, it wasn't a problem, but the wooden floors creak (underfoot), even though the entire place is perfectly renovated and attractive! The corridors on the floors are a bit gloomy, but again, that's in contrast to the overall style and the pleasant renovation.
