The Westin Hotel, Cincinnati

Love this hotel and always stay here when in town. Beds are Amazing. Staff are wonderful and cant beat the location

Not having a microwave in our room was def a inconvenience as we always have leftover food from restaurants. We asked for one and was promised one but was never delivered. The ice machine on our floor was broken and we reported it as well but was not fixed .We finally gave up checking. However I Love this hotel and am a Marriott rewards member and so I keep returning. Hopefully the next visit will be 5* star but this one sadly fell short :(

Front desk employee was fantastic and super friendly.

That there was not any water refill stations available. A lot of people are carrying water bottles now, and it would have been very convenient.

Everything was amazing!

Only issue was the “one” elevator to get to the garage. More elevators are needed.

Staff was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. Great location!

Disappointed there was no offer for parking during the stay. Daily parking under the hotel was expensive and tedious.

The bathrooms need to be updated. The coffee maker needs to be updated. I stay at many hotels as a pilot and this Westin is starting to look worn compared to others.

The staff is wonderful and the location is great.

I booked a king and was given a double, the water pressure is terrible, the lighting in the room is dim, there is no fan in the bathroom, and it's either blackout curtains or wide open window - no sheers.

Elevators were not very efficient with the system they used, a few unclean things I noticed in room but nothing very significant

I was very confused with how the elevators worked and how you had to specify which floor was your destination.

The restaurant in the basement called Ingredients which might have been a franchise but it was where was sent by hotel reception was dirty in a specific way, the floor of the eating area was swept but never washed. It was covered with grease from food that had been accidentally dropped over the months and possibly years that had been swept up but never washed up. Most unpleasant to be eating there.

The construction zone outside is slightly annoying, but easy to get around.

Valet was a disaster. The whole hotel needs an immediate makeover. Like most of Cincinnati it is stuck in the year 1982-1986.

The bed was very comfortable. And staff was nice.

Had trouble with shower, draining into bathroom sink. Maintenance came in, without knocking. And unlocked door. No knock. Got job finished, but I have a feeling this wasn't the first time this happened.

Guest services and main services were outstanding very accommodating. The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was phenomenal. No complaints.

The elliptical joggers in the fitness facility could use some updating as they are very outdated and only two operated, and those two that operated were very slow and lacked responsiveness.

Very close walk to the Red stadium!

Allows dogs but isn’t located anywhere near a park or area for them to potty. Bathroom doorknob old and broke and fiancé got stuck in the bathroom for 30 min while maintenance tried to get him out.

The valet guy hit my car in front of me as he was coming out the garage on the wrong and a car was coming in so he done a sharp turn and swipe a park car.

The location was perfect. The bar was pleasant but opens to late in the afternoon.

The hotel was not bell staff. Amazing!!

Love the area

Hotel did have a pool, I have stayed there several times which is why I chose to stay for my sons birthday. We check in and go to find the pool only to find out that they don't have one anymore. I wish this would have been listed. I would have chose a different hotel so he could have swam.

The hotel is impressive in every way in my opinion. The only thing holding me back from ever coming back is the lack of a pool. When we travel, we look for a place where my kids can swim so I we were very disappointed they closed their pool years ago.

There needs to be a pool. Reopen the pool thays already there. This is an expected amenity in any hotel.

While it was a little confusing at first we really came around to the idea of liking that you needed to use your key card to access the elevators, it made us feel safer in a way knowing that you had to be a guest or employee in order to use them.

No on site parking was available and we had to park in another location. We also didn’t like that there were no vending machines (at least none we could find) for a late night snack.
