The Acme Hotel Company of Chicago is “A New Kind of Hotel”. Located in the River North neighborhood, ACME is downtown Chicago’s hippest boutique hotel. Great for visitors interested in shopping while vacationing, the hotel is only two blocks from the shopping, dining and entertainment offered on the Magnificent Mile. Great sightseeing options like Navy Pier, Lake Michigan and Millennium Park are only a few minutes away.
There was not expense spared in designing the accommodations for the comfort of guests at this hotel. Each room features visual and audio technology that includes a 46-inch LED Smart TV with tablet connections. For business travelers, there is a large work desk with an ergonomic chair. A minibar and a snack tray are also featured. Custom-brewed complimentary coffee is part of the options of the room-delivery service every morning.

Would stay here again for location alone
Great location near places we wanted to go to on the Magnificent Mile.
Staff was very friendly.
Bed was comfortable.
Nice shower
Room looked like it hadn’t been swept completely although everything else appeared clean.
Bathroom lighting is too dim to apply makeup.
Instructions re: how to obtain discount on parking was not given to us upon checking and I had to contact front desk.

Very good location, spacious and clean rooms. On Saturday there is a ‘free walking tour’ starting from the hotel which is good

Location was great.
A few little things in rooms, like knicks on the doors. Just little cosmetic. The only reason I didn’t give a 10. But everything else was exceptional. Awesome value. Definitely will be back with family.

Pleasant
The location was awesome, surrounded by restaurants and within walking distance of a lot of other places one might want to go to. The vibe was also nice, and the rooms were able to be very dark, which is nice for sleeping.
Sound travelled very easily through my door, so when some people came loudly onto my floor at 1:30 am, I got woken up. I value my sleep a lot, so it really detracted from my stay. It would also be nice if there was a bit more of a lounge space besides the Berkshire room (a cozy bar), for doing work or reading outside of the room.

Funky hotel in a central location

Great hotel, amazing location, would stay here again!
Amazing location, great staff, comfy rooms! 100% would recommend.
There should be an electric teapot in the room - I missed having hot water for coffee/tea, especially on marathon day since all coffee shops were closed at 6 am.

Great hotel. Fantastic location. Super friendly staff.
Loved the location! So close to the Magic Mile, the trains, bars and restaurants. It was a really fun hotel with super friendly staff. Great facilities including a guest laundry and gym. Would definitely stay there again and recommend.
The only thing I could say was the room I was in was really quite noisy at night. I was facing the main road on a lower level, and I could hear everything on the street, including the music that played on the street most nights until very late. But I guess that is to be expected, staying right in the heart of the city.
