It was an quiet and intimate Experience.
I absolutely loved Alex at the front desk. He was attentive and kind enought to search dinner locations for us. The room was spacious and quiet. I felt very safe in and around the hotel. TAHE VIEW was amazing of the lake.
Although I was grateful, I did not like having to stay in a double room when I reserved a King room. There was no microwaves or refrigerator in the room, that was disappointing. The bath tub was difficult to drain. The parking rate of $75 a night was horrible, but it's downtown so it was expected. Even with those minor concerns we enjoyed the stay and the staff. I would stay there again.

Perfection and beyond.
Everything about Thompson Chicago is perfect from arrival and being greeted to departure and saying goodbye. Rooms are immaculate, location is amazing and staff goes above and beyond. I wont be staying anywhere else when I return to Chicago. Bravo!

Seamlessly checked in on Thursday and checked out without a problem on Sunday
We did not have breakfast. The view from our room was nice. We could see Lake Michigan. Elevator was fast. Lobby was pleasant with a very friendly staff. And I loved the personalized welcome with my name on the TV.
The only complaint about the stay is something that you can't do anything about. 💯 rain on our Friday stay. Like I said. You guys can't fix that. Lol

Very good
Very cool and stylish hotel with very nice and spacious rooms, huge shower and clean bathrooms. Well equipped fitness room with modern machines.
The restaurant and bar was closed due to renovations. Breakfast was served in room which was okay.

Awesome staff, cozy lobby vibes, clean stay.
We had a big hiccup with our air bnb and last minute had to change locations for our entire family but upon arrival the staff was incredibly professional and so helpful. They made our last couple days in Chicago a dream. We cannot recommend this hotel enough.
Breakfast at the Nico restaurant was sub-par. Food was not the best quality, staff was helpful and kind but for an $18 eggs dish I expected fresher eggs, potatoes, general quality for the price I was paying.
