excellent location, room was gorgeous. Breakfast was fantastic - massive selection at the buffet. The pool on the roof was the reason I booked this hotel for my city break and it was perfect.

The location is central to all the touristy places.Most places could be gone to on foot. Its a well maintained building. I was surprised the hotel is 15 years old. The room was spacious, good value for money.There were mirrors everywhere.

The breakfast was the same all the days we were there, found that boring The gym opens at 9am so it meant you couldn't hit the gym early.Also the gym could do with newer equipments

The Continental is right in the heart of Pest and walking distance to most of the main sights to see. We felt very comfortable walking to and from the hotel. The breakfast service was exceptional, especially considering the volume of people it served. My wife and I enjoyed the variety and the quality of the food, as well as the pretty little outside area where we ate each day. The pool/sauna area was really nice but far too small to accommodate the number of guests the hotel serves. They need a much bigger rooftop pool and more places to sunbathe, but if you used the facilities outside of the peak hours, it was very relaxing. The staff at the spa were excellent and they were extremely personable and made my wife happy. The room was good, not great, and the bed was very comfortable once you removed the thick winter blanket they still used in the middle of the July heat and requested sheets from reception. The bathroom in the room was very small but functional. Nothing special here, nothing to really complain about either.

The staff was hit and miss. The spa staff and the restaurant catering were exceptional, I'd go so far as to say both were fantastic. We truly enjoyed both experiences and these hardworking and friendly staff members really sold the whole experience to us. The front desk was at best middle of the road, with a couple exceptions. They rarely acknowledged you as you walked in and out of the lobby which felt odd to us, but they certainly weren't rude. They just seemed uninterested. The bathroom in the room was so small that you had to open the door, close it, open the shower door, close it with only the smallest of space to walk. The shower sprayed water all over the floor and the door stop in the already small area was positioned directly where you enter and exit the shower. Very uncomfortable design, but it is what it is. We don't like to complain and we made it work. You asked what I didn't like, though 😜

Great spa hotel! I really enjoyed the wellness facilities: gym, indoor pool, outdoor pool, sauna. The staff are professional and quick to help with anything. My room was clean and comfortable, the a/c was good but loud (I had earplugs so wasn't a problem). The cleaning staff every morning were so good, they are a credit to the hotel! Breakfast was great, lots of options, even an omelette bar! Fantastic location, close to ruin bar district and public transport. Overall I loved my stay and I will be back!

Not much! I did notice the breakfast on Sunday wasn't up to their usual standard, maybe they ran out of some fresh ingredients. Make sure to bring your own hairdryer, the one in the room is absolutely awful. I got so desperate I went to a nearby hairdressers to get a blow-dry!

Loved the room, pool was fantastic, swam every day. Cafe and bar lovely, staff couldn't have been nicer. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back

everything from the room, location, ease of access to the metro and variety of restaurants within the area. breakfast was great, with a lot of variety, even with the continental breakfast for room service. the bar was also incredible.

the only thing i did not like was the bathroom. i found the shower was very small (not a lot of room to move around).

It would be great if, when booking a parking spot, guests received a map or directions on how to reach the parking area. This would greatly enhance the experience, as the underground parking allows direct access to the hotel lobby - which is very convenient! Unfortunately, I had some trouble with this: parking near the hotel is quite difficult, and I had to go to the reception to find out how to properly access the garage.

Fantastic hotel in a great location (practically every major tourist attraction is a few to a dozen minutes walk away). Wonderful, extremely helpful service. I recommend it with all my heart. I didn't notice John Wick anywhere ;)

Location, location, location. From the outside, it didn't seem like much of a property, but once you walked through the front door, the modern and massive lobby felt first-class.

In our first room, the AC was not working. They sent someone up to look at it, and they claimed it was working perfectly. We were already in the room for 90 minutes, and it was still at 84 degrees. The repairman finally agreed that it was too warm in this room. The hotel moved us to a new, upgraded room where the AC was working perfectly. They had an issue and corrected it. They were very strict on check-in time. We arrived early, having come off a riverboat cruise. We got there at 10:00 AM. They told us there were no rooms ready, which we understood, but the rooms weren't even assigned to reservations, and we were at the property. They advised us to check back later to see if the room was ready, We asked if they could text us once the room was ready, and they stated they don't do that (we travel a great deal, and other properties would text/call to let you know the room is ready.) We dropped off our luggage and explored the city. Our room was ready when we returned at 3:00 PM, but our friends decided to wait. They waited and waited, and their room was ready at 2:45. Why am I sharing this story, as all this was taking place, there were several people (non-Americans) checking in early, and their rooms were ready many hours before check-in time. Not sure if it was the gentleman at the desk or the hotel's approach.

The best thing about the hotel was their exceptional breakfast. The facilities were kept very clean, the staff was professional and always willing to help anything we needed.

Lovely hotel in a good location. The staff are very welcoming and professional. The breakfast was really very generous. The rooftop pool was a life-saver, with the hot weather. Close to plenty of local restaurants. A 15 minute walk down to the river. We would definitely stay here again.

Location of the hotel was excellent, within walking distance of all the main attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful - especially Lehoy on the bar. Rooftop pool and lounging area is the icing on top.

Unfortunately the spa section is very small compared with the size of the hotel and can get very crowded, the dry sauna can handle 2-3 people. The pool was ok considering it is on the rooftop but very few chaise-longues and places to stay at shadow. About the breakfast i appreciated the fact that the eggs were done in front of you but i waited for about 20 minute until I queued… also the juices disappointing.

Nice hotel and well located for a city break. The room was small but well presented, modern and well equipped. Great pool on the rooftop but more attention needed to keeping it clean. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but breakfast was good with a nice selection. Parking under the hotel was very convenient and reasonably priced.

The hospitality and courtesy of the staff is at a high level I was offered to spend time in the spa area before check-in. I am very grateful for this opportunity to go to the gym and pool after the trip. It's an incredible place to come back to.

Comfy bed, nice bathroom. For food, we only had the breakfast but the range and quality was top notch, fresh eggs and bacon on demand how you like them, and a good selection of other cooked breakfast / hams / cereals / fruit alongside various fruit juices and hot drinks! Pools on the roof were a nice treat. Very close to the metro and lots to do/eat in the surrounding area.

If we are being picky then a few degress lower on the A/C would be nice as 19 wasn't quite cutting the mustard
