Lovely hotel, and friendly staff

Breakfast was very busy but the staff cleared tables and kept the buffet topped up with fresh food

Very nice and clean Hotel right in the centre of Budapest. The breakfast was amazing with a big variety.

Very nice reception, and staff providing good service. Rooms are great and the whole hotel gives a medium luxurious feeling.

The rate is on the upper level, but you pay for the exclusive feeling the lobby gives.

A bit noisy outside on the street but got moved to an interior room without any problem as soon as we asked

Good location, not far to walk to most attractions. Had a few drinks at the bar after walks and staff was always friendly. Would recommend the hotel.

Very hot in the room, even with the aircon on, we had to sleep with the windows open. Can be quite noisy in the morning, with the cleaning staff shouting to each other in the corridor. Luckily we didn't plan on having lay-ins.

Fabulous property Only negative was that because of a private celebration of the hotel’s birthday certain parts restaurant and bar we could not use on the second day and was not informed of this when we booked

The hotel is located not far from the center and evening nightlife, as well as many many restaurants and even a kosher bakery we enjoyed 5 minutes away. But the hotel in itself is in a quiet street which makes it easy and practical. We were in awe of the beautiful high ceiling in the majestic lobby . The pool and gym area were lovely . and the bar on te 1st floor was has a lovely view of the lobby, perfect for a late night drink. The staff was friendly and the room was great with a window that opened ajar .There were actual minitures in the bathroom, something i've been missing in many other hotels in recent years. There we also slippers and bathrobes.

There was a wind like noise in the batroom at times.

The Continental is a very modern hotel with good facilities and reasonably good location.

Main restaurant was disappointing and expensive.

Great location, and while we didnt soend much time at the hotel the rooms were well equipped, modern and tasteful.

The room was well organized and clean each time we returned to the hotel. Breakfast was brilliant. Plentiful and varied with different offerings each morning. Location was great, right in the middle of town next to vital metro and trams lines of budapest.

The welcoming of the hotel was really nice, the staff took our bags and showed us to our room. The hotel itself was really pretty inside and of an evening they had someone playing the piano which was nice.

The beds were too soft, they were comfortable but for people with back problems it's not firm enough to support you.

While the hotel was welcoming and comfortable, the temperature was a bit high; adjusting the heating down a touch would enhance the overall comfort.

It was nice and comfortable hotel with a good breakfast. It is located in a good position near the city center.

Bed and pillows too soft for my personal taste but the hotel sent up memory foam pillows upon request which helped

It would be great if it will be possible to check-in earlier. We arrived at 7:00 a.m. and had to wait until 14:00. However, I appreciate that we were allowed to check-in one hour earlier.

Beautiful Hotel, the staff were so friendly, Breakfast was great with such a huge selection to choose from. Highly recommend the Continental Hotel.

Very nice hotel in Budapest city center. Located in the heart of the Jewish quarter, close to many tourist attractions and public transport/ 14 14-minute walk from Deak Ferenc Ter - city center. The staff members were very kind, helpful and willing to answer my questions. The room was clean and well-organized. The shower was a little small and could use some refresh of appliances but overall good. Breakfast was very nice - wide variety, nice options. I have asked for Gluten-free bread and recieved it every morning. They even had a special place for omlet by guest wishes - not very common to see in 4-stars hotels in Budapest. The gym was nice with a lot of options. The hotel Also contains a wellness center with Sauna and warm pool - very nice and clean. My overall experience was very positive.

The area might be a bit noisy, and the streets around it might be messy and very crowded. The bathroom was somewhat small.

Not being able to open a window is quite disappointing, at least if there was an option to open it 15 cm it would be great. In addition, the air conditioner in room 319 doesn't really cool the room.

Great location away from city centre noise but close enough to walk in.

I wish I could've upgraded my room to a bigger room. This wasn't the hotel's fault as the room I wanted wasn't available.

Our room had a weird drain-like smell that wasn’t very pleasant but it didn’t deter from our enjoyment!

The heat in the rooms was a little hard to control however it was warmer than average for the time of year and air con had switched to winter setting. The staff were helpful in trying to resolve.

We checked in here on very short notice as our other accommodation had not quite been as expected. This is a standard chain hotel with a swimming pool and sun area on the roof. Breakfast was good.

Wonderful entrance and lobby/gallery, great location, very good breakfast. We were able to bring our dog, which was also a big plus. Liked it a lot and would love to come here again!
