Bohem Art Hotel, Budapest

The staff, breakfast, and location are the three strong points of this hotel. I highly recommend it! Great! I'll definitely be back!

No private parking, but I found a spot right next to the hotel! I was lucky.

Rooms are not very big and beds quite hard but everything else made up for that.

Our stay at Bohem Art Hotel was excellent. Check-in was fast, the staff were very friendly, and the room was clean and nicely decorated. The location is perfect, literally a 1minute walk to the metro and all the main spots. They even helped us by arranging transport to the airport. Highly recommended!

Hidden Gem. Just off Váci Street, so great location for bars and restaurants. Also, it is right by Liberty Bridge and Vásárcsarnok. The room was small but perfectly formed. Tea and coffee making facilities, safe, and minibar. Also, free bottle of water, replenished daily. Clean and tidy.

Everything was perfect! The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, and the location was great. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

It was a great stay. The facilities are very good. Guests are offered a bottle of water daily (free of charge). A thoughtful touch I haven't experienced in any other hotel of the same star rating. It was a pleasant surprise.

I liked the interaction with the front desk, helpful and on topic. Room was checked and cleaned daily (towels, bed made, free water given every day).Check-in and check out took 2 min each. Location grate, very close to Danube and to shopping street, old Market and Aldi, restaurants. Loved the tips provided by hotel for experiencing Budapest as a local.

No downsides, we did not serve breakfast so I can not advice on that, the room we had had an inner court view but anyway, unless it's front line of Danube you won't get a view....buildings are high.

The breakfast choice was ample. Something for everyone. Freshly squeezed OJ was delicious & I really liked the fact I could make my own strength of instant coffee, not a fan of coffee machines. The staff were attentive and courteous. I have already recommended this hotel to others. The rooms have everything you need, from good heating/air conditioning. The rooms are spotlessly clean with mini bar/fridge/kettle & tea/coffee, not forgetting the complimentary water by your bed, this was appreciated.

I would like to have a choice to go and sit in the hotel bar and have a drink rather than stay in the room and use a mini bar, although it was good to have one. I know there are many bars and restaurants within close proximity but it just seems odd that this hotel doesn’t have a bar for its guests, even a small one. This is missed and others have said so too. I have stayed here several times, I do like it as it ticks a lot of my boxes. However, one thing that did disappoint was, I genuinely didn’t realise I had booked a twin as I was in a rush when I made the booking. After seeing my room I revisited reception to enquire whether I could switch to a double bed, my request was met with a stern “ That is the room you booked “ - no offer to pay a supplement to change. This lack of empathy made me not want to pursue satisfaction with this staff member.

The hotel is in the very city centre, unexpectedly comfortable room - excellent beds. Eating was no issue, as there are many restaurants nearby, also a Starbucks within 200 m.

It would be nice to have some parging arranged, as in this case I was simply lucky that over the weekend the parking was for free.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. Breakfast very good and lots to choose from. Staff are very helpful. I would definitely stay again if I travel to Budapest again.

Very good breakfast. Wide selection of quality breakfast items which were regularly replenished. Everywhere very clean and well maintained. Good location- very quiet but only one street back from main shopping street with restaurants on it.

The location was superb, the alley heading to the hotel was quiet and calm (which is a good thing) but the moment you walk to the street across, it's filled with views, attractions, and great restaurants. It was as though you are surrounded with all the tourist attractions, and then you end the day at a quiet place in the hotel.

Nothing that we don't like specifically, but new to us was the double bed with 2 single comforter. Small thing we noticed, does not warrant any change

The location was excellent. Good size room, great choice at breakfast.

It was a little cold in the room our bed was twin beds pushed together not a double and the duvets single not double so there was an issue there for us but some may have been ok with it.

The location was very near the river cruise dock we were sailing from the next day. The staff were lovely.

The bed was on the soft side for us, but know that's a personal opinion. I do wish they had shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Many of us who travel with hand luggage can't bring bottles. A small niggle.

The nighttime staff, Agnes (if I recall properly) was very professional and kind. The location of the hotel was also quite convenient.

Most hotels offer free coffee in the morning, but you had to go to the front desk to purchase a coffee pod to brew your morning coffee. Also, we had to ask for shampoo and conditioner as it was not supplied automatically when we used housekeeping.

The room was somewhat “ well used” there were chipped walls. The room was very small.

The staff are young and very kind. The location of the hotel is good if you want to visit the city and enjoy the nightlife, as it’s quite close to the main party area of Budapest, near the bridge. I should mention that I visited during the summer, so I’m not sure how it is in winter. I never had breakfast at the hotel because I spent most of my time exploring the city — which I definitely recommend, as Budapest is really beautiful!

The street is very narrow, and if you come by car, it’s not very easy to find the hotel. The parking is in a garage a few minutes’ walk away, and there were some construction works going on inside the garage.

The location of this hotel was perfect because it was in a quiet neighborhood but walkable to the busier parts of the city. The staff was very nice. The room cleaning service was perfect.

The only thing that made the room uncomfortable was the temperature control. With the window open, we could hear the street noises and it was too cold. With the window closed the room was very stuffy and dry, which caused us to have trouble sleeping. We used the temperature control in the room but it just didn't help the problem.
