I like that you offered me a later check out, which was very much appreciated and not expected at all.

I did not like that I was told breakfast was served until 10.30am, but what that actually meant was you wanted us out of the breakfast hall by 10.30 and that every morning, and the host would start reminding the tables of that fact after 10am. I would suggest bring the serving time in by 30 minutes to achieve the same goal.

Beautiful architecture and interior decor. The rooms were spacious with separate bath /shower. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to make a birthday special.

The rooms were still quite warm with aircon at its lowest. The spa costs extra if you don’t choose a deluxe room.

Super nice hotel - the room was big, the spa was very nice, the location is perfect. I did not try the breakfast or go to any of the in-house restaurants (they were all always empty, for some reason), so I cannot comment on those.

We had an issue with electricity in our room. There are no electricity sockets next to the bed, so I tried to use one on the other side of the room, which was not working. In the end, I unplugged a lamp and managed to use that. Also, not a complaint, but I think it was funny - they tell you "there is a special elevator that only goes to the spa", so naturally you follow the sign saying "elevators", but the elevator to the spa is not with the other elevators, and there is no sign for it. So you will just need to walk around searching for it (tip: go the opposite way of the sign pointing you to the normal elevators).

Beautiful hotel, very luxurious. Its location is very central and has a tram stop right in front of it. The spa is amazing, the room is very nice and comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also amazing!

Had to call maintenance several times about things not working properly in the room. They did fix everything almost immediately.

Additional and excessive costs to use the spa facilities. No option other than to pay for a whole day. Pool use should have been free to all hotel guests as a minimum

Loved the hotel in general, great location, really liked the spa. It would be good if there was space for some mats in the gym but appreciate the space is quite small

The room was too warm for us - the windows opened onto an internal courtyard so we couldn't get any fresh air in. The air con would only go to 18 degrees as it was cold when we visited, but this was too warm for us during the night. I've seen some others also said the same in their reviews, so I think the option to reduce the temperature would be greatly appreciated.

Lovely rooms very comfy bed. Special delivery in the room for our celebration of a birthday made the stay very special.

The shower was temperamental sometimes scorching hot then freezing. A funny smell in the bathroom.

Gorgeous old world hotel, grand foyer, exceptional bar and spa facilities, friendly kind staff, large comfortable beds, ample space for hanging, bathtub and shower and a stocked minibar. A nod to a time of grand hotels with fabulous service, we loved it!

Classy building with fantastic facilities, including the art nouveau spa. The executive lounge run by Herman, a real gentleman, is superb. The room was comfortable, warm, quiet and spacious, with flawless housekeeping. Breakfast is outstanding and the overall service is excellent. The bar staff make delicious cocktails.

Excellent hotel, perfect staff, very clean and beautiful. One of the most invested hotels in the world, close to the Jewish Quarter and the river, which is the center of tourist affairs. Bambima has an amazing reservations and customer service manager, even when there was a minor problem with the room, they upgraded us significantly. Thank you for everything. We will definitely be back there soon. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Beautiful building, wonderful spa and spacious rooms with bottles of water. Room cleaned with new towels each day. Stunning hotel Fantastic location with all means of transport at a cheap price. We used bolts everywhere and they are super fast and cheap.

All great but it would have been useful to be advised that you need to scan the room card in the lift to get to your floor. Great security though.

The note is beautiful. A grand old building, beautiful architecture The room was comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, a fantastic spread with lots of options. Special shout out to Michael

The housekeeping could be better, more attention to detail. We had to ask more than once for things to be brought to the room. The drainage in the shower was rather slow.

Super place to stay. Great hotel facilities (including the Royal Spa) with lovely food and a great service. Well located in Pest.

The hotel facilities are outstanding. I would highly recommend adding on the spa access as it was exceptional. The room is amazing and the comfiest bed we have ever slept on. The staff were on hand and extremely welcoming. Myself and partner thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again in the near future !
