A very special find, charming and stylish with some amazing touches. Brody House had everything and more : gorgeous bedroom and communal living areas which we had to ourselves. An excellent café and beautiful bar. Centrally located in the inner city of Pest yet really peaceful and quiet. Definitely recommend but hope not too many people find out about it! A real gem.

This is place is really a gem ! Everything is so great ! Especially their mattress is so comfortable! First time ever to have so comfortable mattress!

Everything is perfect except last day morning stay there is no more coffee capsules.

it’s not at all a criticism but guests should be aware there is a 2 flight staircase climb to the rooms.

The hotel is incredible! I loved each and every second of my stay: the service, the accommodation, the location, and the dedication to art. It’s 100/100 for everything! And if you’re playing piano, the hotel has a beautiful Roland to practice your skills in privacy.

It’s perfect to me

The whole building and the large room with huge windows with park view were curated into details with exquisite art and tasteful decorations. It was very peaceful and comfortable, both the king bed and golden bath tub which I loved! Perfect location in a central area, it's nice that there's a bar as well

Breakfast was not included (but it was good) and I saw that the bar has a limited schedule

Good Service and spacious room

One of the best Hotels we know.

Very friendly, professional and helpful staff. The reception is not open until late, but they provided detailed instructions for self check in, let us store our luggage and even put flowers in a vase :) The design of the rooms and common areas is unique and stylish, it was a pleasure to stay there! Although the building is old, the rooms are sufficiently and modernly equipped. We had a room with a nice bath tub, spacious shower, bath robes, vanity table with great lightening for doing make up. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is very conveniently located in a beautiful area. The building is historical and gorgeous outside and inside. There was a cafe inside the hotel with great coffee and a self-service drinks bar.

The breakfast was available only from 8:30 (also on weekdays), which was too late for us, so we couldn’t enjoy it.

It had a warm and cozy feel with an artistic flair that is really unique

Really not much to say here, it was a wonderful place and we really enjoyed our stay. The only thing I’ll mention is that we could hear our neighbors talking through the connecting door and bathroom wall quite a bit.

Unique flair, history of arts, attention to detail

We loved the quirky decor, we stayed in the Photo and Print room which was spacious, with beautiful windows and lots of light. We particularly liked all the art, prints and features. We loved our visits to the Garden Room for Breakfast and for a drink in the evening. Staff were lovely and good delicious.

This was such a magical and amazing place! The building is gorgeous, the high ceilings are very impressive and the style is fun and artsy.

This is an unusual hotel in that the room is not a typical hotel room. It is funky but wonderful. The room is large, the shower good, the bed comfortable, and the location is perfect.

To get to the rooms you need to climb a large number of steps - no elevator. Wasn't a problem for us, but could be a problem for some travelers.

Fantastic hotel at a great location, just a few hundred meters away from the bus stop of the E102 airport bus. Very calm. Huge rooms, high ceilings, vintage design. We liked it a lot. Walking distance to the "old town" and the river

Cool, eclectic and cosy

This is the coolest hotel we have ever stayed in. We had a studio on the second floor and it was fantastic. Great artwork and quirky bits and pieces. We had a kitchenette and 2 bathrooms. It read so quiet as we looked onto the courtyard and only 10 mins walk to the river. The staff were lovely and the cafe and bar also very cool. Would highly recommend this boutique hotel.

I guess if you are elderly the stairs could be an issue with bags but not for us

Incredibly unique and well done. The girl at the front desk when we checked in was exceptionally helpful and very nice.

Beatiful little hotel with perfect location, making it easy to explore the city by foot.

The atmosphere was great. We loved the design and the artwork around the hotel. All of the staff we met were so friendly and helpful. Such a refreshing experience compared to the normal bland hotels. Location was ideal.

It would have been even better if the bar and cafe were open for more evenings during our stay. We very much enjoyed our time there on the Saturday night and were left wanting more!

In all corners, you can see the effort put into every little detail. Space is simply beautiful and cozy. Combined with the perfect location for sightseeing in Budapest, this place is very easy to recommend.

The only downside is the lack of parking space.

Brody House exceeded our expectations- it is absolutely gorgeous! Very spacious, clean, and welcoming. Staff is kind and helpful. My husband unfortunately experienced food poisoning (on a food tour- absolutely not at the hotel restaurant) and it could not have been a more comfortable room to recover.

There is nothing not to LOVE about Brody House- top to bottom it was our favorite accommodation on our 2 week trip

Wonderful style and wonderful staff

The facility was beautiful and I loved the layout of the hotel. My room was large, had AC, and was quiet. The staff spoke English and was very kind.

The ONLY complaint that I have was that I could not find the AC remote to save my life. It was attached to the wall, which was covered in a collage of art, which made it difficult to notice right away. But I think that was just because of the artistic style of my room, and it was kind of funny in the long run.

Great style, ambiance, comfort and location. The staff were accommodating. We liked the ability to use the kitchen areas to make our own food, particularly breakfasts when we needed to get away early. That said, the breakfasts provided in the courtyard were delicious.

Brody Sandor Utca is a narrow street. Whilst I knew the hotel had no parking facilities, I had not been advised that there was also no space to even pull over the hire car and unload our luggage. No body from the hotel was able to come out and assist unloading 5 peoples luggage, so immediately I had cars behind on their horns in a street and City in which I had never driven. Could the hotel not come to some arrangement to have some of the street bollards nearby removed to allow for, at least, temporary loading?

Hotel is exceptional in every way. It really exceeded expectations. The rooms are original with beautiful art and are immaculate. Every staff member was engaging and couldn't do enough for us, especially the bar staff. Lovely welcome when we checked in also.

Brody House is simply soooo cool. It has Soho Farmhouse vibes but at far more affordable prices. We booked a studio which came with 2 bathrooms. What a bonus! The rooms are designed using reclaimed furniture and fittings whilst respecting the building heritage. The kitchen was well equipped and we also had a balcony looking at the inner courtyard. There is no furniture on the balcony though. All the rooms are filled with fabulous artwork and everything we needed for our stay. Brody House takes hotels to the next level. It was hard to leave and we will book again!

Large rooms full of art everywhere. Really excellent. There are large comfortable public room/kitchens for communal use that have well stock honor bars and coffee makers etc.

Lots of steps, no elevator but good exercise.
