Corinthia Hotel, Budapest

Corinthia Hotel never disappoints, especially if you don't have a 5-star luxury expectation. The location is amazing in the city center, the rooms, bathroom and the beds are big. The sheets are high quality too.

Would need a good refurbishment and remodeling in the rooms. You can feel that there is the same furniture in the rooms that was 15 years ago. They try maintaining it but the cheap and old "luxury" is still visible, especially in the details. Slow service at the hotel's lobby bar, and a bit rude personnel in general. A staff member came at 11.30am to check what has been consumed from the minibar, even before checking out while having the "Do Not Disturb" sign on. Anyway, decent value for money due to the location and the big bed.

The room was very smart and spacious with a very comfortable seating area. It was clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable. This Art Nouveau style buildingl must be one of the most beautiful hotels in the world! The spa is stunning with a lovely colonnaded swimming pool. The breakfast is great with lots of choice. the staff are so polite and helpful. The bar staff went out of their way to create a private seating area for the football watching guests... so considerate.

Room was excellent with size & comfort. Somewhere where you can come back & relax after a hot day sightseeing. Bathroom was large with shower & bath, & the shower was powerful if required.

The furniture is very worn Mattress is extremely uncomfortable It’s a high class hotel but needs a facelift ASAP. Please upgrade the furniture and mattresses

staff service....facilities..spa...executive lounge...all were supurb

the booking itself. This may be a problem with booking.com, but I am not sure. When trying to book, the price kept changing. Finally it, didnt and it remained the same until I completed the booking. Later, I discovered that the price had gone up again on me, and because when doing the booking I was not charged, I apparently didnt get my price locked in as it should have been. I do not like that kind of "switcheroo", but I suspect that the problem is with booking.com
