Corinthia Hotel, Budapest

My stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. I visited with my girlfriend, and we both felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel restaurant was excellent, offering delicious dishes and a pleasant atmosphere. What truly made our stay special was the thoughtful birthday surprise in the room – a bottle of sparkling wine and a mousse au chocolat cake. This personal touch added so much joy and showed great attention to detail. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service, excellent dining, and warm hospitality.

The hotel was clean and most of the staff were excellent.

Be aware there is a noisy construction site along one side of the hotel. These rooms appear to be second rated rooms as the air conditioning would work .the temperature stayed on 35 degrees. The only relief was to open the window overnight to freezing temperatures. On the positive side, after one night in the room, the reception staff graciously moved me to another room with no issues.

It was my wife’s 60th Birthday treat and everything about our stay was perfect. The staff were really attentive, kind and helpful. The room was gorgeous and breakfast exceeded expectations. They set the bar very high!

The most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! Lovely view, mini bar was full & complimentary snacks were stacked daily s well as room service. Spa & pool are amazing & the hotel itself is stunningly beautiful- 10/10 I will be back!

Upgraded due to faulty air conditioning - room was too hot and no fans were available. Kind of them to do that. Breakfast options were great also! Staff were nice!!

Spa was nice but didn't stay too long. Found it a bit cold after coming out of the jacuzzi but maybe its just me

I grand hotel with beautiful architecture of a time passed. The spa option was very good, they have several hot tubs, sauna's and a steam room. This along with a very nice pool made visiting the spa a daily ritual.

The bathroom could have been cleaner. It was nice to have a bathtub and shower and they provided nice toiletries,

Room was at front of Hotel and overlooked a main arterial boulevard ; was considerable traffic noise . Hot food at breakfast was lukewarm at best ( though breakfast in general was good) Breakfast service was busy and sometimes staff were overstretched Is a little bit out of the centre so if you want to walk a lot it is ideal.

Me and my girlfriend visited Budapest for her 40th birthday and couldn't be happier with the hotel. The staff was amazing no matter what their job was, from the reception desk, to the inhouse restaurant(s), breakfast station (the breakfast here is excellent), room service and so on. The spa section was wonderful as well. Pool is large enough to do laps in and a selection of different saunas to enjoy. We also opted to get a massage each and it was heaven. A special thank you to the girl in the reception who found a room early when we arrived before check-in and just wanted to use the luggage room, and to the hotel manager for the wonderful birthday present that was waiting in the room when we got back from a long day exploring the city. We have already said we will return to Budapest to see more of the city, and when we do we will definitely stay at Corinthia again.

Pool of SPA was not very warm.

Our stay was one of my favourite trips, the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful and the hotel was beautiful and in a great location. We were celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday and the staff upgraded our room and arranged a little cake and champagne to be delivered to our room while we were having dinner. The breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were totally delicious.

I really enjoyed my stay! The location was perfect, and the hospitality made me feel very welcome. The hotel has a lovely charm, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

Everything was lovely, though the room could use better ventilation, it felt a bit stuffy without fresh air.

Room spacious and spotless. Executive suite with lounge access was a great addition. Breakfast the highest quality. Staff very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

Had a fabulous few days in this hotel . Excellent facilities including a lovely spa,pool, sauna, steam room, all spotlessly clean. The hotel is very comfortable and worth it's 5 stars . The breakfast is truly exceptional with everything you could desire including champagne 🍾 . The location is very central and all attractions can be walked in a half hours brisk walk. The staff were excellent without exception .

I had an issue with my room being too hot( in October) but it was sorted without any fuss or delay.

The help from the staff was lovely (carrying bags, holding doors etc). It was in a great location. 10 mins to New York Cafe and 20mins to parliament, St Stephen’s basilica etc. The room was lovely and spacious and the shower pressure was great. Caviar and Bull attached to the hotel was one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten in.

The bed was very soft and the pillows were incredibly thin. They were feather pillows so could fold them easily but they were thin.

The lack of spa access The toilet broke and it could not be fixed so flushing it was a nightmare.

We booked 2 family rooms. Each had 2 bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and lounge area. All furnished nicely and very comfortable beds. The hotel reception is beautiful and the staff are excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. They are all very helpful. The spa is very nice. The restaurant is lovely, food fabulous. Nice atmosphere and live music playing whilst you dine. The restaurant staff are great.

The only thing I can say about the whole stay is our room wasn't very warm and the water in the spa swimming pool wasn't very warm too. Otherwise I have nothing negative about our stay at all!

Could not fault this hotel. Facilities are perfect. Location, decor, comfort all top class. There was a mistake made with our booking and we were up graded to an executive suite. It is the nicest suite we have ever stayed in. Exceptional. The spa area is gorgeous, with a large, immaculately clean pool. Great for people who like a proper swim. Two jacuzzi’s, steam and sauna rooms. All in a fabulous setting. The staff in The Corinthia couldn’t be more helpful. My husband had a health issue and the manager was so kind, considerate and attentive. Sent up commentary food and drink to help him recover. Also arranged a Dr. Just what you need when you are far from home. This hotel is so well run with great attention to detail and an underlying feeling of kindness and care to their guests. Throughly recommend the Corinthia.

Great location and lovely breakfast.

Felt like our room had not been used for a while. Technican came to set up our room phone. We ordered room service our last night as we were getting ready for an early morning flight, and service was very slow.

More drinking water in the room

Breakfast was great. A big variety to satisfy everyone. Service and quality excellent.

The air conditioning was not working. The staff explained that their system works either on heating or on a/c. (Not both) They further explained that this is now winter (Oct 19-20th) and therefore the heating is on but not the A/C. This was very upsetting since the room was extremely hot and it was difficult to breath. I do have to mention that they did find a satisfying solution by moving us to their separate apartments in a separate building right behind the hotel. This property had a/c and we were able to sleep properly. Kudos to them on that point.

The hotel is magical in itself. Very beautiful. Also good ameneties, delicious breakfast and the beds felt like clouds.
