Corinthia Hotel, Budapest

The hotel located just next to all night life, restaurants, bars etc, Huge hotel with lovely staff. Breakfast was very rich and tasty. All in all it is a wonderful place to tour Budapest

Air condition was very poor.

Bathroom a bit run down and shower cubicle leaked a lot. Not what you'd expect for the price from a top end hotel.

The Corinthia is one of the best hotels in Budapest. This is where we stay every time we visit Budapest. Stunningly beautiful, comfortable, spotlessly clean and outstanding staff. The special touches and attention to detail like nowhere else in the world.

A Lovely grand hotel in the heart of Budapest.

Housekeeping were very friendly but seemed to be struggling to keep up with the rooms. Beds were made but the bathroom wasn’t cleaned, crockery washed and supplies and towels weren’t replenished every day. Not great considering the standard and price of the hotel.

Beautiful hotel and friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing. It was my birthday and hotel surprised me with a bottle of champagne and a cake on arrival.

Our room was not made up until late in the day and dirty cups, glasses and plates were left outside rooms by cleaning staff for a long time, obviously to be collected by someone else. Hotel organised a cab for us to airport and advised it would cost no more than 13000 HUF but we were charged 16700 HUF.

Everything was exceptional; our room could have been cleaner, but in general, everything was fine.

We love the location, very close to public transportation and touristic places. The residence hôtel is perfect for family stay ( enough space in the room) as all rooms are located in a very peaceful area with interior gardens.

We did not like our beds. They were not comfortable . I believe the Hotel can upgrade/update some areas a little bit as they feel old. In addition, the use of the spa with its pending reservation process needs some improvements. We faced several misunderstandings related to spa services. However, please note that the spa services were wonderful. The spa specialists were knowledgeable, patient and caring. Kudos as well of the guest specialists at the entrance of the hotel. They were awesome.

Beds are not too comfortable. Due to top mattress. Cleanliness in geral seems good, but when you start looking not great at all. We had 2 rooms and in both rooms water comes out of the shower and wets all the floor.

Beautiful hotel in good location . Staff friendly and professional . Lovely restaurant. Great breakfast served . Restaurant dining at night also delicious .

The spa/pool is exceptional - the Executive lounge was a handy lunch break. The staff were great, the room was very nice and well maintained. Breakfast was comprehensive

Lovely hotel, very comfy and clean beds, classic design

The carpet, bathroom cleanliness and bath towels left quite a bit to be desired. No coffee machine. The toiletries were individually packed, lots of plastic:(

The property was gorgeous with an amazing location. Very clean and comfortable

All staff were brilliant apart from the staff in the restaurant. We found them rude and avoidant (even though the restaurant was very expensive). Just wanted to have a drink whilst listening to the live music and did ask for this. We sat for over an hour with no one offering a menu or to take our order. Bar, reception, cleaning and all other staff were brilliant though

THE HOTEL LOOKS AMAZING, THE ROOM WAS BIG AND VERY CLEAN. GREAT LOCATION. WE LOVED THE ROYAL SPA, ESPECIALLY THE INDOOR POOL. SO WAS THE BAR AND ALL THE STAFF.

FOR A 5 STARS HOTEL, WE EXPECTED TO BE MORE EXCITED FROM THE BREKFAST , BUT UNFORTUNATELY THE BREAKFAST WAS LIKE WE ATE IN OUR PREVIOUS VISITS IN BUDAPEST IN A 3 AND 4 STARS HOTEL

The building is beautiful. The buffet was extensive and better than average. The tatertots are not good. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The location by taxi or tram is good. For the money there needed more maintenance. Chipped furniture, pealing wallpaper, leaky shower door, mended and frayed bath towels, beds not as comfortable, a bit hard.

The room was lovely and the bed was exceptional, we had an amazing night sleep! The staff were extremely helpful and the location was in a perfect spot to explore all of Budapest!

This would have been a 10 out of 10 however, the spa could have been kept to a nicer standard. There were towels left around and used cups all over. I completely understand that this is due to ignorant guests but I do think they should have someone there to keep checking the area is clean and tidy for other guests.

This is a beautiful historic hotel in a great location, on a tram line, within walking distance of an underground stop and easy reach of many of the main sites. The staff were fantastic. Breakfast was a highlight and the bar meal and room service meal were great.

The only thing that was disappointing was that we searched for hotels with swimming pools, but the hotel charged an extra fee for use of the pool.

High class hotel, that apparently has hosted many famous guests. Beautiful grand entrance, plenty of staff to serve you. Beautiful rooms, with all the little luxuries you would expect, complimentary toiletries, chocolates, slippers etc. The attached spa was excellent, lovely pool and jacuzzis, and the massages we had were excellent!

The attention to detail wasn't there. We were put in the wrong room when we first arrived, and it was all quite stressful, we were then shown to another room, which when we went inside, turned out to be occupied - in bed! It got sorted out the next evening, with an upgrade, but I would much rather have had the room I'd booked and paid for without the added stress! The mattress had blood stains on it, which I photographed and sent to the reception, but nothing was done. The beds were very uncomfortable, and none of us slept that well. We asked for some cutlery that was missing from the kitchen, but it never came. So although we needed more pillows and a couple of other things, I stopped asking. All the staff were pleasant, and we were given a bottle of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. But it wasn't the perfect luxury experience I'd been looking forward to😕.

The hotel is very nicely decorated, gives this calm feeling as you walk inside, and is in a great location to explore the beautiful city. I appreciated the upgrade that I was given which made my, unfortunately, short stay even more memorable. Should I ever go back to Budapest, I already know where I will be staying. Corinthia.

Gym/pool were good. Location just perfect with lots of resteraunts and bars on your doorstep. Room had the best power shower ever. The staff were always on hand, happy to help and everyone greeted you with a smile.

Beautiful property

The staff looked after us very well. Krisztina kept in contact via email as we were celebrating our friends 60th. Achoura was helpful at the bar and the Concierge staff again, very helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and full of variety catering to all tastes.

The hotel is superb. The architecture, the decor, the food! But specially the people and the service are outstanding. They really try their utmost to make your stay enjoyable going the extra mile! Would surely recommend it👍

Someone already mentioned that the water temperature was a bit unstable at times, we did experience the same thing. I guess it's a minor flaw...

We had breakfast every morning in the Brasserie restaurant. The buffet was outstanding in quality and the extensive number of selections. Even better was that same restaurant at night for dinner. It was fine dining at a very reasonable price and even included a quartet playing live music.

Was not in reasonable walking distance to the main landmarks of Budapest.
