Corinthia Hotel, Budapest

Centrally located, very friendly and efficient staff. Comfortable and clean room. AC worked well which was a necessity with the high temperatures.

My only criticism would be that on arrival we were allocated an adjoining room- our neighbours were noisy and we didn’t get a great nights sleep. We arranged to move room the next day.

Breakfast was excellent, with a great ambience in the restaurant area. 'Front of house' was excellent and provided me with perfect table and service experience

The room was clean, though a bit outdated, the staff were helpful and polite. The breakfast is excellent.

The hotel was a charming and lovely old building with large rooms and excellent breakfasts. Staff was helpful and smiling. Good Executive Club Lounge. The Royal Spa is a fantastic addition.

The rooms need a refurbishment with some older and frayed appliances- everything works but is not the most modern or stylish. Internal comms within the hotel could work better- one night in the Atrium restaurant a fantastic musical trio was playing and only two people appeared to be dining. I would have dined there that night had I known about the special music but I have no idea how I would have found out! There may have been promotional screens but I did not see them in the lobby or elsewhere.

It's a beautiful hotel and the lounge and spa facilities are great.

The hospitality level of the staff was not consistent, which was quite strange.

The building itself is very beautiful. The rooms are spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The spa has a classic look but the facilities (sauna and baths) are modern.

The temperature of the largest bath at the spa is a bit cold. It would be more comfortable if the water was a bit warmer. Next to that, I expected better coffee at the breakfast.

Breakfast was outstanding with so much choice. Staff were extremely helpful and provided an outstanding service. Really liked the elegance and ambience of the hotel. Also used room service for dinner one night and it surpassed our expectations. Rooms very quiet and very comfortable. Proximity to restaurants superb and a 30 min. walk to Danube thru jewish quarter was pleasant.

With temperatures in mid 30;s C an outdoor pool would have been great! Only very minor hiccup was they ran out of ice for room.

The hotel is in a great location. Staff at front desk were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The rooms were quite comfortable. Overall we had a great time staying at the hotel.

Food was quite monotonous. However I believe this is due to us being vegetarian and has nothing to do with hotel.

Staff very responsive and friendly, breakfast was filled with good options. Spa was clean and easily accessible. Location very close to tram and is walking distance from districts we wanted to explore. When we had issues and reported them, the supervisor was very accommodating and helpful, willing no to compensate us in any way possible.

Spa got a bit crowded. Rooms/hallways need upkeep (cracks, chips, worn out robes). The sheets were stained though very clean and the staff immediately changed bedding for us. Food was so abundant at breakfast I was concerned about food waste but this is common in big hotels.

Very happy with everything, room was fantastic, hotel was even better. Very grand and would stay again.

The service was amazing, the bedroom was spacious, and the spa was just perfect. We were celebrating a special occasion and they received us with sparkling wine and a small cake. The whole experience felt luxurious and special.

Everything was lovely. Pillow selection could be improved, all of them were on the softer side.

30 Euros per person per day to use the spa

The hotel was luxury. The rooms were awsome with great bathrooms and beds. We liked the atmosphere very much. Fast internet and great service people. Very fun and comfortable hotel rooms and the hotel itself looks beautiful and rich. Very beautiful and cool spa center and the pool is just fenomenal.
