Amazing spa, fantastic location

A lot of conferences were taking place so spa was often very busy with the conference guests

This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Everything is perfect in terms of space, lighting, heating and air conditioning, bathroom, accessories, breakfast, etc. Personnel is extremely friendly and efficient

It is a bit expensive, but you get value for money

We stayed at the Corinthia Hotel with family for a weekend, and I was highly impressed with both the staff and service. This was one of the most welcoming and professional teams I’ve ever encountered at a hotel, from the front desk to the concierge. A special thank you to Dominik from the concierge team. I was eager to take my parents to Parisi Passage restaurant on March 8th, but it was fully booked. Thanks to his efforts, he managed to secure us a table, making our day and celebration truly special. Erika and Petra at the front desk were also outstanding. They handled a room request efficiently and professionally, ensuring everything was taken care of promptly. Overall, the hotel is stunning, the breakfast is excellent, and the location is perfect. Highly recommend!

Being a regular visitor to the capital I always stay in the Corinthia! Its location allows me to venture out anywhere in the city pretty much on foot, but if I had to cover more distance, convenient public transport is right on your doorstep. The building and its facilities are extraordinary! The staff is polite, welcoming and always go above and beyond! Every stay feels like being welcomed home, whether I stay one night or a week! I can only recommend this hotel to anyone who’s considering staying in the capital!

The hotel's location is also ideal—within walking distance of many attractions and easily accessible by public transport. Breakfast at Corinthia was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. Location, spa

The reception: we arrived in the morning gave pur luggage and they told us they will call is when the room is ready. No call so we arrived as planned at 3pm, they told us our room is now ready, we booked an executive room, they have us a standard room. We had the executive lounge inculded, I had to ask 2-3 times to have it. So we understood they on purpose downgrade us. I complained about the room then they changed it. It's not really a welcoming situation. Then in the room the temperature of the water in the shower is constantly changing so it's hard to appreciate it.

We had a fantastic time at the Corinthia, the personnel was very kind and obliging. The room was spacious and it gave us a nice view over the roofs of Budapest (executive room - you can also enter the executive club, there you get a variety of snacks & drinks) and we also enjoyed the beautiful 'Royal Spa' (direct access from the hotel via lift). We will come again!

This place feels very luxurious. There is marble and beautiful fixtures everywhere. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and went above and beyond at all aspects. Very clean with good and prompt room cleaning. We tried the in-hotel breakfast - it has a very good spread, everything fresh and tastes great.

The cost is very high. Despite the luxurious feel, there were the small kinks - partially clogged shower head and a very stiff shower hose - making the shower disappointing. I'd much prefer to have a perfectly working shower than beautiful marble in the lobby. The facilities include a spa (at extra cost). Essentially, it is a pool, jacuzzi and sauna. It is very good looking but in most other hotels access is granted without extra cost. Treatments are paid separately. The spa is only accessible from the main building which means that if you book an apartment unit, you'll neee to walk outside - which isn't really fun in winter with small children. However, the staff were great and gave us instead a suite in the main building. Too bad this isn't mentioned on Booking. Breakfast is very expensive (if not included). We stayed with two small children (each had to pay) which makes the whole thing very costly, especially considering the wealth of alternatives nearby. I wouldn't stay here again because the cost doesn't justify what you get in return.

The staff were very attentative, the room spacious and bed very comfortable. The food in the executive lounge and for breakfast was really good, a very good selection and the facilities well kept and clean. Great spa.

The hotel is cozy and the location is perfect, with restaurants, supermarket and coffee shops around. The royal spa is a plus, and we definitely recommend it.

Firstly, the service from staff at the Corithia was superb. From the front of house staff at breakfast remembering our room number and morning drink, to the staff doing the evening turn down, it made our stay feel exceptional. The breakfast was excellent and spa facilities well worth paying for access. The bar manager was really knowledgeable on drinks and the cocktails were excellent. The building was grand but still felt comfortable. We stayed for 5 nights and the room was large with a shower and bath in the bathroom. Location in Budapest is very central with lots of places within walking distance or a tram ride away.

The first room we were offered was a little bit tired in decor- chips in furniture for example- it was still nice but I was being fussy as were staying for a 5 nights. However, we asked to see another room and were immediately moved. The staff really went beyond to make sure we were happy with our stay.

Everything was amazing apart from the shower in the hotel room. The water temperature fluctuates (boiling hot and turned ice cold out of nowhere), which makes the shower experience suboptimal.

Paid for a room upgrade to use the spa facilities but the pool wasn’t working so was ice cold and the spa itself was packed out because nobody could use the pool. no beds available and the steam room/sauna/ jacuzzi were full. Regretted paying for the upgrade.

Unfortunately, the hotel staff was only seemingly friendly. Upon arrival, one of the rooms was not ready until more than 3 hours after the scheduled check-in time. Apologies were accepted, but even though they were accompanied by a mention of a reasonable compensation for the inconvenience, the memory of the apology was short-lived, and the promise was quickly forgotten. For a hotel that prides itself on its image, such incidents should not be covered up "on the spot" until the problem is resolved, only to be dismissed with indifference afterward. In the evening, after a full day in the city, the spa area was a welcome feature, and the hotel was indeed well-structured. Unfortunately, even here, the floor wasn’t being cleaned, and we witnessed two tourists fall due to this. Additionally, we left a day earlier than planned because we were actually insulted. After breakfast, with two more nights of accommodation left, despite requesting the charge to be put on the room when entering the dining area, we were called to immediately come and pay it! Again, we still had two nights of accommodation left before our departure! This was another very upsetting attitude, unworthy of such a hotel! Moreover, when we asked to speak with the manager, a very polite lady came, who assured us that she understood our frustration and that the behavior of her colleagues was unprofessional. However, she asked us, ironically, what exactly she could do about it!?!? Therefore, a dream location, but one that presented us with challenges, including when it came to establishing a managerial policy... and so, we left a day early, feeling disappointed.

Our experience at Corinthia Budapest was absolutely flawless and unforgettable! We chose this hotel for our Christmas stay in Budapest, and it turned out to be the best decision. The hotel is stunningly beautiful, perfectly capturing the classic architectural charm of Budapest. Our room was incredibly spacious, offering both comfort and luxury. The bathroom was large, featuring both a shower and a bathtub, which was a wonderful surprise. Additionally, the room was warm and cozy, providing great comfort despite the cold weather in Budapest. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally polite and always eager to assist with a smile. Another great advantage of Corinthia Budapest is its location. You can easily explore the city center on foot, and the central metro and tram stations are just a short walk away, making transportation incredibly convenient. I can’t wait to return to this wonderful hotel, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious experience in Budapest!

While our stay at Corinthia Budapest was nothing short of extraordinary, I believe it is only fair to mention a minor inconvenience we experienced before our arrival. Prior to traveling to Budapest, we contacted the hotel to inquire whether a driver or taxi could be arranged to pick us up from the airport. Unfortunately, we were informed that such a service was not available. However, upon arriving at the hotel, we mentioned this at the reception, and the staff clarified that this was a misunderstanding. They apologized sincerely and assured us that such a service is indeed offered. I am sharing this not to criticize the hotel but to help future travelers avoid similar miscommunication. Should you require airport transportation, I recommend double-checking with the hotel to ensure a smooth experience. This small hiccup did not overshadow the incredible experience we had at Corinthia Budapest. Their hospitality, comfort, and attention to detail far outweighed this minor issue, and I would happily return for another stay.

The food was perfect, the room was amazing, and the staff were very polite.

The temperature in the room cannot be adjusted, and it was very hot. We discussed this problem with the staff, but the situation remains the same. We slept with the window open in December.
