Rocco Forte Hotel De Rome, Berlin

Very friendly and super efficient ground staff, housekeeping went the super extra mile and the portiers are so lovely and friendly We hired bicycles from the hotel directly and they were excellent- much fun And added bonus - my daughter’s favorite band stayed at the hotel the same time and we could chat with them

The pool was closed for renovations and we only found out after we booked

Room 115 had minimum view but still lovely with high ceilings. The fantastic staff was kind enough to move me to 515. View was lovely. Made my stay perfect!

The hotel is beautiful as are the rooms. Everything is extremely spacious. Location is excellent if you're planning to do the usual tourist activities or have business in Mitte.

When we arrived the doorman took our bags, gave us a ticket, and told us that our bags would be delivered to the room and waiting for us when we got there. We ended up sitting in the room for over an hour, exhausted from a long flight and just wanting to shower and change clothes. I finally ended up going to the front desk to retrieve the bags and bring them to the room myself. I don't *need* help with my bags nor did I request this service but it was offered and then not followed through with, and it caused us to waste an hour of our limited time in Berlin.

Superb staff and unbeatable location, especially for access to Museum Island.

The bed was not very comfortable. I asked for a feather/foam topper, which helped, but still not what you'd expect at a hotel of this quality.

Everything was fantastic! The room, the bed, the staff and service, the location and views and the room service food was amazing as well.

The terrace could have been slightly bigger to sit in but there was the shared terrace with seating and the rooftop restaurant and bar which wasn’t open in this season but am sure is lovely as well so we look forward to dining there a when we return either in spring or summer.

great staff, perfect location - exceptional massage - and with no concerns despite the pandemic. it was spotless. the hotel was quite busy but the staff remained focused, efficient and attentive.

the wait for breakfast was a bit long and the waitstaff seemed a bit overwhelmed - but the hotel was very busy - it took forever for the coffee to arrive for example. But all in all the food was very good and it wasn't too much of a concern to wait

I will not stay anywhere else in Berlin ever again! The location is prime ... a close walk to everything, the staff is excellent (especially the concierge and front desk staff), and the hotel is beautiful. Our rooms were huge for a major European capital and very comfortable. The bathroom was also huge with a big soaking tub and wonderful shower. The rooftop bar is exceptional -- views to the entire city, delicious food, and a great experience. Hotel guests have priority seating so we never had to wait for a table. Breakfast is also excellent. All in all, I would live there if I could!

The only misstep we had at this hotel was the rooftop 'pop up' sushi restaurant. It was shockingly expensive and the sushi was not worth it, but that was really the only negative we encountered in our six day stay.

Our room was not clean. No heating in room when we arrived. Blood on bed sheets.

I went with my dog and it was received with a box of goodies. I appreciated that very much. Staff was nice. Gym was clean and well equipped. Bed was very comfortable.

It was run down. Bed headrest worn out. Old stained lamps by the bed. Ugly decoration unmatching materials. The place has changed a lot in the last few years. Saw a man bring in a prostitute to a next door room from the street. It was advertised that there was a pool and when I went to spa was told it doesn’t exist anymore.

the hotel claim to have a spa. when I was there I discovered it didn’t open until 10 and the sauna etc not until 4pm. I had a free morning before some important meetings and looked forward to using the spa which is part of the hotel. to find it was closed was disappointing to say the least.

Quality doesn’t match with the high price, the aircon didn’t work, it looks like everything runs on a budget!

I like the location, the front staff was very nice, the minibar staff didn’t show up until about 5 o’clock in the afternoon, but whatever,

I think the price of the rooms in relation to what we got was not reasonable at all

Booked the hotel for a celebratory birthday weekend. It’s in the perfect central location for seeing the sights and exploring Berlin. It’s a beautiful hotel and the room was very quiet.

Unfortunately, the swimming pool was closed due to refurbishment and the rooftop bar wasn’t open as planned due to bad weather.

Everything was clean and new

Me and my friend booked the same room category at the same time. Hers was twice bigger than mine. No one could explain the reason. No concierge at work on Friday at 8pm. No help with restaurant reservation - the answer is: no tables at the nearby restaurants could be reserved. When checking-in - no one at the reception at 8 pm, had to wait for 15 min without any communication. In the restaurant - no hand sanitizing, everybody touch everything in the buffet during breakfast.
