Hotel Stadtbad Oderberger, Berlin

Breakfast excellent. Staff very helpful.

Would have preferred a ground floor room rather than the one in the remote tower, but that was the only one available when we booked more than a month before our visit.

Excellent in parts. Fabulous old building brilliantly converted from the 1902 Pberg City Baths to a decent hotel. Nice atmosphere. Friendly and super helpful staff. Good beds, linen etc. Great location. Cozy bar.

The pool was closed due to an unforeseen problem. Happens but annoying. More annoying was the lack of an offer of discount; free entry to the spa didn’t really cut it because we thought that that was included anyway. Very expensive breakfast, not worth the money.

nicely located in Prenzlauer Berg, very nice restaurant, also for breakfast, and what I liked the most was swimming in the morning!

The room was very spacious, breakfast was excellent.

The pool gets quite busy. There is an additional charge for pool and sauna, which is quite a lot even for guests.

the location was great, and the entire setting of the hotel was interesting and fun. great choice to get to know Berlin as a couple or as a family!

The hotel itself is quite incredible with its history of being a renovated bath house. The breakfast was superb. The lobby bar is excellent with great cocktails. The location is great - nestled in an older, hip neighbourhood that appears to be rejuvenating itself.

We had no complaints about the hotel.

So many things. it’s a lovely old bath house that’s been restored and reconfigured as a hotel. the swimming pool is wonderful as are other facilities like the spa and steam rooms.

I like most everything though some of the rooms are configured somewhat oddly.

although it offers high quality - the current price rises are ( too) high - best for guests who are staying once in life in Berlin but not for repeating buissness trips

Addition charge to use the pool facilities - this should be waived for hotel guests. The floor to ceiling height in the loft bedroom was too low

Really enjoyed our stay a strange but fabulous hotel totally different than anything I stayed in before.

No comfortable seating area in the foyer

The hotel was located in a trendy part of Berlin with lots of restaurants. The staff were professional and helpful. There was free water, coffee and apples in the room. The beds were excellent. The pool was beautiful and historic.

We booked a room with a living area and a loft for the bed. Next time I would book a regular room. The furniture in the living area was minimal and the tv was upstairs in the bed area. Everything else was excellent.

Love this hotel. Quite unique. Love its history. Breakfast is always excellent too! Loved being in the top room of the tower. Did find the walk up quite challenging but new there wasn't a lift. If you book this room though don't underestimate the number of flights of stairs to walk up. Great view of the TV tower through the autumn leaves of the trees though and over the roof tops of Berlin. Well worth the hike up the stairs.

Shame the swimming pool was closed but it's made clear when booking that it may be closed.

Overall ambience lovely. Good breakfast. Beds comfy and shower excellent. Well located for public transport and lots of good places to eat nearby.

We had a room with a mezzanine on which the bed was situated. This had a very low ceiling ( my head touched the ceiling and I am 5ft 4 in) and my husband bumped his head several times.

The heat wave in Berlin was really hot, especially at night : many thanks to the staff who changed our room and upgraded us to a cooler place.

Excellent location , lots of restaurants nearby, beautiful building

Air conditioning unit very noisy and difficult to sleep with. Breakfast was poor. Not happy that we have to pay extra to use pool eventhough we paid 5 nights accommodation!

A beautiful building well converted into a very commodious hotel. We enjoyed the neighborhood. Excellent public transit is reasonably close.

Fine print said the pool might not be available because of events. We chose the hotel especially for the pool and were very disappointed to find it was NEVER available during our 5 day stay. They install a floor over the pool, we didn’t even see it!

location in Prenzlauer Berg. Nice cafe around, downtown not far. very nice historic pool but the water is too cold

- as a guest, access to pool is not free and it cost around 10 euros per day. - room is not really comfy. It would be very possible to keep an historic flair while having some features and decorations that justify to charge a room over 200 euros a night (not holiday season). Very little light in the duplex room with windows that are high on the walls. It give the impression to be in a cave. - the hotel is not convenient with kids.

Excellent location with plenty of great restaurants, cafes, bars and interesting shops around. Perfect location for families since there were many playgrounds for kids nearby and children clothing stores. Breakfast was amazing with fresh berries, fruits, waffle bar, sparkling wine etc.

Not a great pillow

We had two different rooms during our stay. The first room was perfect for our needs. We wanted a full-size bed, but the twin beds were fine as we put them together. We wanted a refrigerator and stove top to make us feel like we had an efficiency apartment for our stay. It worked well. The room was comfortable and clean.

As seniors, we were disappointed to have to walk up five flights with luggage. To get to the room with luggage was hard. Also it limited our in and out of the room during the day.
