Cool place, clean and friendly staff

Great location good vibes epic breakfast

Would have loved to go in the sauna but apparently it was booked all weekend even though we never saw anyone actually use it

The Michelberger is an excellent hotel. It has an excellent vibe with a brilliant lounge and bar area. We were lucky to be upgraded to a bigger room that was spacious and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy, the showers were powerful and we had a very relaxed stay. It's probably the best place we've stayed in Berlin and will be staying there when we return.

We had one minor issue where the bathroom on one night had a really strong smell of cigarette smoke. We figured this might have come through the vents from the floor below. We solved this by closing the door and reported it to the reception.

The rooms was stylish and clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The downstairs reception area and coffee shop was really comfortable and a great place to hang out. The hotel was well located for walking around interesting areas and for transport.

The room was a bit stuffy and it was hard to get the temperature comfortable. The room overlooked the recycling and rubbish collection site so it was too noisy to have the window open.

The bathroom had a glass wall so there was no privacy.

It would have been good to have a kettle in the room and a small fridge.

The only thing it lacks is a way to cool down at night. It’s wonderful that bottled water is provided A small fridge, shared ice machine, or blandness fans in the on would make all the difference.

We did sleep amazing-the beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed that it’s one of a few places in Berlin that could accommodate a family of four in one room as opposed to getting two rooms.

The lobby felt dirty, but it also smelled not so great. The hallways getting off of the elevator smelled terrible and in desperate need of a deep cleaning. The room had zero privacy-to even shower or get dressed so finding a bit of privacy was a little rough. Not a fan of the area at all. Naked karaoke down the block-I felt like I was stuck in a 1980s mtv music video. Probably a great area for young people looking to party-not really idea for families in my opinion.

Great alternative vibe in the hotel. Comfortable beds, a solid breakfast, and we also had a really good lunch and dinner there. The location is alright — Warschauerstrasse is a perfect starting point to explore Berlin. Whether you’re heading to Potsdam, spending a day at Tropical Islands, or visiting Museum Island, everything is easy to reach. The surrounding neighbourhood is lively and fun

If your room faces the street, there’s quite a bit of noise. The windows do close well and keep most of it out, but if you like sleeping with the window open and you’re a light sleeper, I’d recommend asking for a room at the back or facing the courtyard.

For the rest, I really enjoyed the breakfast — lots of vegan and vegetarian options alongside meat. That said, I found the fruit selection a bit underwhelming, especially for a hotel aiming to offer a healthy breakfast. It could be a bit more generous, in my opinion.

Excellent central location, clean hotel recently refurbished with taste. Gives a good Berliner vibe. Staff overall friendly.

Sound insulation in the rooms is rubbish, you hear neighbouring rooms as if they were sleeping with you. To top it off, cleaning ladies are hitting the doors with vacuum cleaners in the hallway at 8am - not very enjoyable on a holiday.

Staff in the lobby was quite rude on our last day, and very 'pushy' to get us to order food whilst we were waiting for check-out, although we ordered coffee already. I had the feeling you could chill in the lobby when you sleep in a hotel, maybe I have wrong expectations.

The cozy vibe and decor. Its also right next to a big mall, and just a few minutes from the bahn station.

It was pretty noisy outside at 6am from the loaders and machines working, so couldnt have the windows open if we wanted to sleep for longer, so it got a little hot

The hotel is very well located and nicely decorated, everything is there and works well. The bed is comfortable. The small double room was literally small, but since I traveled alone that wasn’t a problem. I liked my stay and there were just 2 things I didn’t like: the duvet was short, so my feet were not covered unless I curled up and the fan in the shower went on when you turned on the light and unless you cut the power in the whole room it didn’t turn off even if you switched the light in the shower off.

Large property, excellently located. There was a beeping coming from close outside my room and it wouldn’t let me sleep. Pillows were very bad.

The television was not connected to the world, only (bad) inhouse programs. The bathroom/shower had no door and the floor got wet and my partner slipped badly.

Morning breakfast / brunch is absolutely amazing — they pay great attention to both meat- and vegan options as well as they favor locally produced / sourced food / ingredients.

Perfect location, at a two minute walk from Warschauer Straße station and in between Friedrichshain/Kreuzberg. Friendly staff. Small but quiet room.

Breakfast was ok, but overpriced. No bacon :( A coffeemaker in the room would've been nice.

Loft room was a lot of fun, as long as you didn't mind the ladder to the top bunk.

Could have had some toilets in the main building, definitely was a bit of a puzzle getting to them from the communal area.
