The location of the Michelberger is unbeatable if you are attending an event at the Uber Arena; it is only about 300 meters away, which made my stay for the Radiohead show incredibly convenient. The hotel has a very authentic "Berlin vibe" and a diverse, international atmosphere that I really enjoyed. I was particularly pleased that they allowed me to check into my room a bit earlier than expected. The breakfast was a highlight—an extensive selection of high-quality breads and spreads, with plenty of healthy, vegan, and vegetarian options. The atmosphere is young and buzzy, which felt very appropriate for the setting, and the staff were friendly and efficient.

The property is starting to show a small amount of wear and tear in places, though this didn’t negatively impact my stay at all. It is also worth noting that the vibe is very energetic and "cool," which suits a younger crowd or concert-goers perfectly, but might be a bit intense for someone looking for a traditional or quiet retreat.

The location is amazing and the rooms with their huge industrial windows are absolutely superb. The whole place is just one of a kind, we can't wait to come back.

We were visiting for Christmas with our son and his GF who live in Berlin. We wanted somewhere near them and we really liked the hotel vibe, the staff and facilities were excellent.

Very convenient location, beautiful lobby/bar & restaurant and very clean and stylish rooms. The staff is also very welcoming.

The rooms lack storage space for luggage and there's no closet for clothes, just a few hangers on a wall hanger - this is not enough for folks travelling for professional reasons.

I booked a room because I was going to attend a concert at the Uber Arena. Only staying one night I booked a simple room. To my positive surprise however, I got an upgrade to quite a unique room. A room with gold everything. Admittedly I wouldn't have booked that exact room myself, but I would definitely recommend if you're looking for something unique. Personel was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the bed was nice and the room was fully equipped. Would recommend!

The ambience was amazing. The space was comfortable and inviting. It was a place you just wanted to be. Hip, buzzy and warm.

Cool place, clean and friendly staff

Great location, cool vibe and interior decor. The room was phenomenal with a giant bathtub, shower and built in sauna and loft bed. Not your typical 5 star cookie cutter but super unique, earthy and cool. Excellent ham & cheese toastie in the cafe. Cool young staff to match the young party energy and minor celeb clientele. Lovely inner courtyard is such a great space.

The Michelberger is an excellent hotel. It has an excellent vibe with a brilliant lounge and bar area. We were lucky to be upgraded to a bigger room that was spacious and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy, the showers were powerful and we had a very relaxed stay. It's probably the best place we've stayed in Berlin and will be staying there when we return.

We had one minor issue where the bathroom on one night had a really strong smell of cigarette smoke. We figured this might have come through the vents from the floor below. We solved this by closing the door and reported it to the reception.

It was loud at night

The rooms was stylish and clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The downstairs reception area and coffee shop was really comfortable and a great place to hang out. The hotel was well located for walking around interesting areas and for transport.

The room was a bit stuffy and it was hard to get the temperature comfortable. The room overlooked the recycling and rubbish collection site so it was too noisy to have the window open. The bathroom had a glass wall so there was no privacy. It would have been good to have a kettle in the room and a small fridge.

Very stylish, fresh and really good breakfast, the stuff was very helpful and kind.

Only minus is the window in the bathroom out to the rest of the room, would prefer to have it bathroom more private.

A very hip and trendy hotel, great location, hyped and full of life hotel, room was so cool and creative, they were so nice and upgraded me to a beautiful view room, would definitely stay again.

Very clean, staff very helpful and multi lingual. Rooms are really quirky, we received a free upgrade to a loft room which was soooo good! Loved the bed on the mezzanine floor, the super large windows meant you could watch Berlin from it too! Felt like a big kid in that bed!

You can't eat your own food in the courtyard.

Very fun & vibrant place to stay. Dinners were AMAZING, ate in the hotel restaurant every night. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Street can be quite noisy some nights, but I think you have to accept that to stay opposite a busy train station.

Made us feel very welcomed with a personalised note at arrival. We could leave our bags after check out. The terrace and the lounge area was a great mood. Daily cleaning was always spot on.

Lovely hotel in a great location, opposite the underground. The restaurant and bar area are fabulous. Our room was nice but very small. The facilities in the room were good but we had not wardrobe space. It was also really hot and there was no air conditioning, just a couple of fans. If you are staying for more than one night like we did, it is worth getting a bigger room.

Size of our room (very small) and lack of wardrobe space. Shower not very private as there is a window with no curtains and you can see people having their shower from the bed so no privacy. We were a couple, so it was OK for us, but something to bare in mind. Air conditioning would help, too, as it was extremely hot.

The only thing it lacks is a way to cool down at night. It’s wonderful that bottled water is provided A small fridge, shared ice machine, or blandness fans in the on would make all the difference.

We did sleep amazing-the beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed that it’s one of a few places in Berlin that could accommodate a family of four in one room as opposed to getting two rooms.

The lobby felt dirty, but it also smelled not so great. The hallways getting off of the elevator smelled terrible and in desperate need of a deep cleaning. The room had zero privacy-to even shower or get dressed so finding a bit of privacy was a little rough. Not a fan of the area at all. Naked karaoke down the block-I felt like I was stuck in a 1980s mtv music video. Probably a great area for young people looking to party-not really idea for families in my opinion.

Great alternative vibe in the hotel. Comfortable beds, a solid breakfast, and we also had a really good lunch and dinner there. The location is alright — Warschauerstrasse is a perfect starting point to explore Berlin. Whether you’re heading to Potsdam, spending a day at Tropical Islands, or visiting Museum Island, everything is easy to reach. The surrounding neighbourhood is lively and fun

If your room faces the street, there’s quite a bit of noise. The windows do close well and keep most of it out, but if you like sleeping with the window open and you’re a light sleeper, I’d recommend asking for a room at the back or facing the courtyard. For the rest, I really enjoyed the breakfast — lots of vegan and vegetarian options alongside meat. That said, I found the fruit selection a bit underwhelming, especially for a hotel aiming to offer a healthy breakfast. It could be a bit more generous, in my opinion.

This is our preferred hotel in Berlin. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and kept immaculately clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is creative and offers an excellent selection both for breakfast and for dinner. The location is only steps from the East Side Gallery and is well connected by public transport. I would definitely recommend this hotel for your next stay in Berlin

My go-to hotel when I attend concerts held in Uber Arena. A bit alternative vibe smelling of lavender and patchouli but I dig it. Nice minimalistic bedroom, super breakfast, friendly and nice staff, beside the mall and the u-Bahn making it super convenient.

The shower is just a bit weird since you really need to be near it and the drain to avoid flooding the bathroom
