That there was no coffee machine. And some more light would be good.

I loved the room! It is minimalistic, but so practical. It has everything that was necessary for comfort and now waste. The design was really funky and cool. I loved the concrete ceiling and special brass panels behind the bed. Everything was thought of, and everything you might need was in the room. It was comfortable, but with a cool and minimalistic modern design. Loved it! The location is not the one I would choose to stay in, whilst in Berlin, but I chose to stay here because of the hotel. However, it was quiet and well isolated so no noise while sleeping despite being in a busy area. It also was served very well by public transport. Would love to stay in this hotel, in cooler areas though like Prenzlauer Berg or Friedrichshain.

Personally, I didn't think the staff were very friendly. I thought the girl on reception when we arrived was bossy and not very warm - maybe it's a cultural thing but it would have been nice if they were warmer and friendlier to visitors. It's not a big deal, it just sets a tone which is not the most welcoming. Other than that though, I loved the hotel.

The location of the hotel was wonderful, the hotel itself is stunningly and coolly decorated, the room is very spacious and clean. The staff was extremely approachable and kind, the whole atmosphere was very relaxed

The room is a little too dark for my taste, I would recommend more lighting.

The room was great! we had the Grand room with a nice seating area at the end of it . we stayed on the fifth floor so it was quite.
The view from the Breakfast restaurant was amazing and the veriaty of choices were out of this world. The Bar at the end of the day had such a great atmosphere.
The location is wonderful . Near all the transportation options and near a great shopping area and lots of places to eat and drink. It was safe and happy. The park next to the hotel makes you breath fresh air although you are at the centre of berlin.
All in all we liked it better than to stay at the Alexanderplatz area.

Comfy bed and wonderful shower!

Everything, all the facilities, the views, the fact that the window opens, the bed was extremely comfortable!!! The pillows were amazing very comfortable. The soaps were smelling amazing, and the lighting options in the room were great. The stuff was exceptional, i was sick and they found an emergency pharmacy for me.

Staff is lovely as always, room was pristine and had nice view over the Tiergarten. Although the rooms have been built more than 10 years ago at this point, it still looks to be in good shape. Love the showers!

The pillows are a bit too flat/soft for my liking and the mattress continues to be on the stiffer side. The showers have great shampoo but no conditioner.

A very unique hotel with some fun features, beautiful views from our room overlooking the zoo, staff were very friendly, very large selection of food served at breakfast and the Monkey bar served some wonderful cocktails!

The Jungle room has great design, quality materials. Nice to have mini bar at no extra charge. The view is stunning!

It is expensive. 715 euro for two nights and breakfast for (2+1child).. the breakfast had a lot of choices but I personally did not like the taste of kitchen cooked food, too much cream/butter.
Also note for family travelers: there is no privacy between the shower/bathtub and the room. (Perfect for couples:) )

Great hotel, with comfortable rooms and great views over the zoo. It’s close to main tourist spots and the walking distance from the gay neighbourhood.
The breakfast is worth the price with a good selection.

We had a great stay, but the staff can be rude at some times.
The area can feel a bit unsafe in the evenings as it’s close to a main station.

We initially had a room on the far right side of the 5th floor on the "jungle" side which had reported views over the zoo. This was technically true however a large metal roof interupted the view from the room which was not ideal. We got moved to the far left side of the 8th floor as our bath did not work and this view is what we hoped for and initially expected, clear views of the zoo. So bascially ask for a room on the highest floor possible.
The staff were lovely and helpful. The rooms are tight but really well designed, especially the little library we had in our room. The location is ideal for any part of Berlin as the public transport is excellent. The Monkey bar is really cool and a great place to get a drink but as it is so popular be ready for it being busy at the weekends.
We had breakfast on our first morning there and it was nice but definitely not worth the price as there are numerous good alternatives locally and far cheaper.
I would stay in this hotel again as the service was exceptional.

The room was really nice and the location of the hotel was perfect. The rooftop bar was great and also the breakfast was amazing. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and resolved all the requests.

LOCATION EXCELLENT FOR EATING OUT, AND SHOPPING. NEED TO TAKEPUBLIC TRANSPORT TO BRANDENBURG GATE AND OTHER ATTRACTIONS. PROXIMITY TO THE TIERGARTEN IS A PLUS POINT.

BEFORE WE ARRIVED i EMAILED SEVERAL TIMES AND GOT NO REPLY FROM THE HOTEL
THE BED PILLOWS WERE AWFUL AND WE HAD TO ASK FOR 4 MORE!

Nice modern hotel in a good location, with a good sized room and I liked the Monkey Bar on the top floor in the evening. I enjoyed the terrace outside the restaurant for breakfast, and the terrace outside Monkey Bar was a lively place at night. The huge Berlin Zoo is right next door, as is the main station with a train direct to the Berlin Brandenburg Airport, which BA flies from. So that was very convenient with no need for expensive taxis.

The only criticism I would have is that there was no chair in the room, so nowhere to sit and work.

Great location and super friendly staff. Bed was comfortable and loved the little touches like the little monkey ;) Cold water in the mini bar was very welcome in this heat.

A little loud on the urban side and a kettle in the room would have been a nice bonus. Shower was a bit weak but I’m really searching for things now.

The staff and breakfast were wonderful. We especially liked the view from rooftop both for drinks at the end of the day and breakfast.

The charger in the room turn off when you leave.

I didn't stay long enough to benefit from amenities.

I loved the room in general such a spacious room, the hotel was located in a really good area and close to most attractions.

I would say the wi-fi could be better it was quite slow and always logging off.

The quirkiness of the hotel, views of the zoo, restaurant food amazing, breakfast yummy, location handy, staff friendly and helpful.

No tea/coffee facility but not a major issue.

The restaurant and bar were lovely, with good food and fantastic views. The sauna was really enjoyable. Great location. Room was very individual and clean.

There wasn’t much storage space for clothes. Also, not very private if you’re sharing a room with someone, as the shower is in full view! Also the room was too warm and you couldn’t open the window as the street below is so noisy.
