EastSeven Hostel, Berlin

Great location in a quiet area. Lots of good establishments nearby. Not far from the city center. Friendly staff. Beautiful decor with different locations inside. Really friendly atmosphere

I got a free update to a four female room and it was quite a surprise! The location was very good, with lots of cool cafes, bookshops and cinemas. I appreciate the Sunday family dinner provided free for all people. It is so considerate because all shops close on Sunday. Free cereal, milk, tea and coffee is excellent! I also like the night rules and I didn't hear anyone shouting at night, like the other hostels I had stayed. I had very good sleep for my two-night stay there. All the shared space, like the kitchen, the terrace, the sofa area and the socialised space are maintained very well, and I feel like I'm living in a very warm community. It also offers many useful information for exploring Berlin from different aspects. A big thanks, team!

The nearest U-bahn station is under construction, which makes the transportation a bit annoying. But that's not the bad of the hostel :)

First thing first , I had a really great experience with EastSeven hostel team. Sara and all the team were great, helpful and kind during my stay. They helped me about my every question and problem. Before check-in and after check-out they allowed me to leave my luggages . This is a real hostel concept where you can find different activities and interact other guests in the common area and Tv room . They have a lovely garden . Also there is a kitchen where you can cook your own food and a fridge you can keep your drinks , food . They offer free breakfast. Not like a real breakfast but still nice to have a free coffee and cereal with milk . In the reception , it is free to get water.
In the room , there is makeup desk with a mirror, a charger for every each bed and a light. Your head side of the bed is covered which is allowed you to have privacy a bit . No one sees each other while sleeping which I like the most. Every floor has 2 toilet (one is for female the other is mixed I think ) and 2 bathroom . I have just waited once for it but no queue. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom .

They don’t have an elevator which is inconvenient for the ones who have heavy luggages. And the corridors are narrow.

EastSeven offers a welcoming atmosphere for both sociable guests and more introverted travelers. The premises are very clean and the location is great.

I was on a 2 week tour of Europe and this was by far my favourite hostel. The facilities and space were perfect, with option to make your own food then socialise in kitchen, garden , or other rooms. There was always activities on in evening and group chat with people organising plans.

Staff were so helpful and made some good friends.

Super friendly staff and there are events every evening so it’s easy to meet people. It’s a very chill vibe so I felt very at ease there as a solo traveler.

The staff were so kind to us that I was amazed. There were three of us, and we had booked a dormitory room. We arrived well in advance of check-in and they welcomed us without any problems. In fact, they told us that they could offer us a private room as there were no bookings for that evening. They gave us an impeccable tour of the facility. The atmosphere inside was peaceful and friendly, with several young people chatting respectfully to each other in the common areas. There is also an outdoor garden where you can relax and a chill room where you can play games or watch Netflix. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we would like to return.

The room was very clean upon arrival and great view, paid very little for a very good quality room and toilet facilities were always clean too, nothing was broken or not working. Good system for checking in and out and lovely additional facilities like the kitchen and living room. Events organised for guests to take part in every night (trivia and drinking games). All front desk staff are very approachable and friendly.

How international and easy to communicate with the people was.

I was there in December and the heater in the middle of the night I think stopped working because it got quite cold but in the morning it started working again.

The rooms and the toilets were super clean. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The hostel's whatsapp group was extremely helpful; sending daily recommendations, organizing social events, announcing lost & found things. I really enjoyed staying there ands recommend this hostel to any solo & group travelers.

The shower cabins in my floor had clear glass windows, if anyone wants a bit more privacy, it might be an issue.

The accommodation was really pleasant, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I greatly enjoyed having all-girl rooms and bathrooms. There is a nice kitchen and a really nice backyard. There is almost an entire community in the hostel, since people and staff are really nice, and the general vibe was very pleasant. The value for money is insane. Just make sure to bring (or buy) your own padlock for your stuff.

I had a really great stay at EastSeven Hostel. The location is excellent and very convenient to move around Berlin. The atmosphere is amazing, with nice activities that make it easy to meet new people.

The staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The guests were also respectful and social, which made the experience even better.

I truly enjoyed my time there, and I would definitely come back to Berlin again because of this hostel. Highly recommended!

The hostel was very clean and the facilities were clearly well maintained. I especially appreciated the large common spaces, which made it easy to relax without feeling crowded. The free morning coffee with oats was a thoughtful touch and a great way to start the day. Overall, the place felt organized, comfortable, and welcoming.

Honestly, nothing stood out as a negative. Everything was well organized and met my expectations, making the stay smooth and hassle-free.
