The staffing and surrounding

This hostel is the best I have ever stayed at. A big shoutout to Max from the staff—he went above and beyond to resolve an issue I had on my first night, turning it into a great experience and saving my trip! The room and public bathroom were super clean, and the kitchen was well-equipped. They even offer a simple but nice free breakfast in the morning.

Every member of the staff is very nice and welcoming. They even provided free dinner on certain days, delicious aswell. The common areas are perfect to meet new people, especially for me as a solo-traveler, it couldn’t get any better than that. Every night, you have the opportunity to join nice people in going out, partying, bars. The location is something that even locals are jealous about. The room was always clean and tidy. Bed way more comfortable than usual hostel beds. Overall, one of the best hostels I’ve ever been to and the best one in Berlin.

Ain’t lying, but nothing

The staff and the social aspect of the hostel makes it great for any solo traveller! They have events happening every day and make it easy to socialize and meet people. Location is great where it’s near the station and a very nice back terrace where you can relax or chat with other travellers.

The rooms need air conditioning since it gets veryyyyyy hot. It felt like a sauna at times which is uncomfortable whether you’re trying to sleep or just sit around. As well, a curtain for the beds for privacy would be nice! The hostel is missing privacy curtains for the bed and air conditioning, that would the hostel that much better.

The kitchen is ok but small freshen up would make a big difference. Room was a bit smelly :D

Very social hostel. Bed was comfortable and pretty private and the storage for the luggage is pretty safe.

Good location, super clean, staff was super nice. This was one of my best stays anywhere. People are super friendly and having a daily common activity helps to connect.

Fantastic location in the beautiful neighbourhood Prenzlauer Berg! Close to public transport but also wonderful to just walk around. I think by far the best thing about this hostel is the amazing people (staff and guests) you meet. It’s an incredibly social hostel and they’re constantly organising fun excursions and activities. Had the best time here! Definitely coming back!

The staff were very nice and were happy to help with everything we wanted, including recommendations about food or places to go out. Very friendly and diverse guests who you could have a nice conversation with at any time. As well, this location is great and close to many main places in the city.

My favorite hostel from my backpacking trip. Super clean, great facilities, good location, staff is awesome, and it’s just got a special and fun vibe! Couldn’t recommend this one more, especially if you like social hostels.

My third trip to EastSeven and I will keep going back. Comfortable, clean and with a fantastic and friendly atmosphere.

Great vibe, staff were really friendly and great at suggesting things to do! Very welcoming atmosphere.

No curtains on the beds. Toilets/showers are limited with 2 on each floor.

- professional, friendly staff - there is a kitchen, where you can cook food, not just microwave it - there is a small garden - great location - you can walk to the biggest attractions or take the U-Bahn - close to grocery store - it's clean in the hostel - hostel can store your luggage before and after your stay - there is a water dispenser at the reception desk

- during hot weather, it's stuffy in the room - for me the fridge is too small for the whole hostel

Amazing hostel! Everything was clean, tidy and organised. Great location, close to heaps of restaurants. Lots of fridge space, big kitchen and multiple sitting areas. They also host heaps of communal activities which was great for meeting people and are big on being quiet at night and respecting peoples sleep. Couldn't recommend any higher

The staff was quite friendly but some did not speak German. I really enjoyed their outside seating area. The showers were good as well. For my purpose, the location was great with many cafes and fodd places around and close to several transportation.

If the hotel is full and the weather not nice, then the inside commom area is too small.

Great culture and crew

Such a lovely vibe in the hostel, everyone working here does a lot to make sure everyone has a good stay - lots of social events and a really nice relaxed atmosphere during the day. The area has lots of bars, food spots and markets within walking distance and good links to other parts of the city. Super easy to meet people here because of all the social spaces, honestly one of the friendliest hostels I’ve stayed in my entire trip. Can’t wait to come back !! Thank you :)

A little bit expensive, but during the European football, it’s acceptable.
