EastSeven Hostel, Berlin

It was the friendliest hostel I've ever stayed in. The employees were very friendly and helpful. If you want socialize with people you should choose this hostel.

Everything was perfect. I really enjoyed my time at the hostel, also thanks to the volunteers that organised an event every evening. It is located in a really nice area and with a 5-minute-walk you can reach the U-Bahn station.

Fantastic community environment, the staff are super helpful with great recommendations about local activities as well as hostel hosted activities. Fantastic for solo travellers and groups.

The hostel is only a 5 minute walk from the nearest tram station, and I felt safe in the area, even as a girl walking alone at night. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. The hostel has events every evening, a groupchat, and a nice guest kitchen and lounge area which make it easy to make friends! The rooms are pretty spacious and very clean, even the communal bathrooms.

I've had a great experience in EastSeven, the Hostel's personnel were very positive and helpful with a enthusiastic attitude, each night there was an event to do for the guests such as meals or games, rooms were spacious with individual storage, a nice cozy area in the garden with couches, overall it has the right vibes of how staying in a hostel should feel like.

Everything was perfect, location, cleanliness, the staff.

Had to climb 5 flights of stairs to get to our room.

The hostel is small, located in a residential area with a friendly and helpful staff. Hot water in the showers and comfy beds. Clean. Stayed in the 4-bed female dorm.Free dinner on Sundays. Close to local restaurants and shops. Easy to meet other travellers. The hostel has a WhatsApp group with recommendations and tips on what to do, where to eat etc.

The location was a bit off from Alexanderplatz. If you're into partying then it's a bit off. If you have big suitcases - no elevators, stayed on 3rd floor. Would've been nice with more hooks in the room to hang your towels, clothes etc. It took about 1,5 hours to/from the airport BER.

Had a great time over the weekend - had a private room. Very sociable, met lots of people. Staff friendly, overall very friendly vibe

Really lovely hostel next to Senenfelderplatz U-bahn. Easily accessible from central Berlin. Lots of pubs, bars and restaurants nearby. Comfortable and well equipped communal areas. Very friendly guests, mainly in their 20s and 30s. I'm a solo traveller in my 60s but everyone was very welcoming and no one made me feel out of place. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I would stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended 😁

My room could have done with some coat hooks to hang coats and jackets on, as it is not always convenient to place them on the bed or in the locker, particularly if it is raining outside.

Best hostel experience! Clean, welcoming and comfortable. Option for female-only rooms and bathrooms and use of a kitchen. Lounge & dining room. Events on every evening made it easy to meet other people and really made my trip! Staff really friendly. Bed was comfy and showers were good. Bed has a shelf with light & charging points (incl USB-C). Can hire towels for €2 and clothes for clubbing. Will stay again if back in Berlin

I loved the whole experience here. The hosts were very proactive in hosting events every night so it was a great way to always have something to do and meet new people. I felt very safe during the stay. It was also very clean and comfortable. Also loved that they had a water station! The location was well connected to all important spots and a lot of cool places in neighbourhood too.

I wish the towels were included with the stay. Didn’t want to pay extra for these.

At night, the hostel gets a little busy and noisy in the common areas.

The fact that there is so much space and activities to spend time with the other solo fellow makes the place even more beautiful. I loved my staying and interacting with people in the evenings activities. In the room I stayed was clean and warm.

Friendly and super helpful staff. They made you feel comfortable from the first moment you get there. The social events each evening was a great way of meeting people, especially for those travelling alone. Would definitely come back to stay here 😊

It was simply magnificent, exactly the hostel I was looking for and felt comfortable in. The friendliness of the staff, the comfort of the bed in the room, the socket at the bedside and the light for reading at night and the safe. Another plus is that the rest room and breakfast are free. The location is also magnificent, 3 minutes walking distance to the metro, and you can reach the center, Alexanderplatz, by walking only 2 stops, in 15 minutes. There are markets, pubs and places to eat around.

The people in my dorm room came back late night and made noise, annoying but it's not the fault of the hostel.

The staff were fantastic!! And the facilities incredible. Comfy beds, good separate shower/bathrooms. The TV room is an absolute win. Free basic breakfast and free family dinner nights are amazing very helpful for getting everyone talking. I would definitely stay here again!! Great cooking facilities and staff were so helpful with recommendations for anything you could need

Only downside was the floors in the dorm rooms are very old and loud.

The location is excellent, with easy access to public transportation and plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. The rooms are clean and cozy, and the shared spaces are well-maintained and inviting. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The outdoor garden is a perfect spot to relax after exploring the city. Great value for money—highly recommended for anyone visiting Berlin!

Amazing hostel, amazing atmosphere, well connected to Alexanderplatz and Tram/Metro. The staff is really great, I was there only for one night but they're all lovely, specially Camila. They let me kill time there because my bus was late and even let me participate in that night's dinner. I would totally go back. The rooms are big, the beds comfortable enough, the patio amazing for hanging out. The bathrooms were clean. For its value, it's a no brainer in Berlin either if you want to do walking or party tourism, or both.

This hostel is amazing with the nicest staff ever. There very some social programs every day. The rooms and the common areas are well equipped. The quarter is perfectly safe and close to the Alexanderplatz.

When I entered the hostel I was met by Georgia and Jenny who set a fantastic first impression that was upheld throughout my stay. The hostel is cosy, well positioned in the city and a great place for anyone visiting Berlin.

Staff are extremely friendly. Everybody spoke perfect English. Environment is very cosy. You can easily be alone, or get to know people, depending on your preferences.

Everything about the hostel, especially the staff, was wonderful. It was an enjoyable stay.

The hostel is very close to U, restaurants and supermarket around the corner, the staff super friendly and helpful, I stayed in a female four bed and was quite big, the shower good. They offer recommendations to go, eat, to visit, is well prepared. They have complementary snacks in the morning and some days the offer family dinner, I can always come back to this hostel.

Just be aware there's not lift in case you have a big luggage but tha was not a issue for me

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-organized, offering everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location is unbeatable, close to all the main attractions and public transport, making it easy to explore the area. The basic breakfast free, there is always a free spot for snacks. The kitchen is free to use and its amazing! Clean and easy to cook anything. The staff was friendly and always ready to help (superb). I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a great place to stay! A+

Friendly and super helpful staff; spotlessly clean; quiet location; sociable and fun; free breakfast and dinners, neighbourhood lovely with great cafes and stores, very central, easy and quick access to u bahn or an easy twenty min walk to centre.

The cost of a dorm bed at 50euro is a lot but the room was very nice. Some guests in the dorm are not respectful of other guests privacy, and noise in middle of night.

The hostel ambiance was lovely, it gives you a Berlin vide. The rooms were clean and quite, I met very good people there which are my friends now. The location of this hostel is great, nice area, close to at least three U-bahn and couple of M-Tram.

Really the only negative was a roommate who was a hefty snorer - even with my earplugs! So no negative about hostel

Amazing staffs Perfect facilities

I highly recommend this place. It was my second time staying here. I'll repeat my opinion, that: -professional, friendly staff, - there is a kitchen, where you can cook food, not just microwave it, - there is a small garden, - great location - you can walk to the biggest attractions or take the U-Bahn, tram, - close to grocery store, - it's clean, - hostel can store your luggage before and after your stay. Although I didn't participate in the joint activities, I saw that people were having a great time. I noticed that for the colder season, there is a thicker quilt.

The location was pretty good with many cafes and restaurants nearby. The kitchen is well equipped and clean, the outdoor patio was really nice.

No personal blind per bed. No AC but I knew that before booking and it was not super hot during my stay late august.

I loved the location, clean, comfy beds, quiet, super friendly staff and lovely people staying at the hostel. I was in a female dorm (4) and it was great, interesting people mix age 25-53. Communal kitchen was a great plus and very clean. Great sociable space

The female bathrooms could have done with more toilets sinks one of each, showers were good. The mirror was very high and set in so difficult to use if you have contact lenses. Adding some extra mirrors with a shelf would be a great improvement
