The pool steam room and jacuzzi was not working for the whole 4 days we stayed which was a shame.

the level of english at reception is just not acceptable for a 5 star hotel, whereas staff at the lounge was truly well trained and the service quality was very high. Aircon stopped working in the whole hotel which was very unfortunate

My time in Beijing Fairmont was very relaxing and staff in the gold lounge we’re extremely nice and helpful! I highly recommend this hotel!

The sauna was closed and therefore I couldn’t enjoy all the advertised amenities.

My stay at the Fairmont Beijing was excellent! The staff was very friendly and helpful although they did not all speak English very well. They did do their outmost best to communicate (for example the use of translation apps). I got a free room upgrade to a Junior Suite and I would definitely recommend a Gold room with lounge access! The lounge access is very comfortable and the food and drinks over there are great. My stay did not include breakfast, but thanks to the lounge access I was able to have breakfast at the lounge. The rooms were very nice as well. Big, neat and clean. Some parts of the room were a little bit outdated, but absolutely not in a disturbing way!

Sometimes it took a little too much time to communicate with the staff. Would've been a lot easier if there would be a fluent English representative available for most of the day.

Everything is great except the breakfast in the lounge. Limited selection and chef always get the doneness of the eggs wrong. Bread is also limited in selection.

The lounge access which was included in the package was wonderful and the food selection and quality for breakfast and evening hours is good. The gym is also well equipped and opened 24 hours.

The entire staff treated us like royalty. Stayed 6 nights and we were upgraded to a gorgeous suite with Fairmont Gold status. The General Manager, Charles was exceptional, as was Nick, Sophia, Dennis, Happy and Tom. The front desk staff were stellar.

Staffs were polite, helpful and service were superb.

The staff were exceptionally helpful, kind and friendly, while totally professional.

Some things I did not understand easily as I do not speak Chinese

The staff were efficient and attentive. Especially shoutout to Solar and her manager, they aid me with my room and always tend to my needs almost immediately. Thank you for the amazing experience.

My favorite hotel in Beijing, just amazing

Staff, gold lounge, pool, chocolate muffins, great wine at the gold lounge, rooms with lovely furnishings. Stand out staff included: Nick Liu Kiros Zhu Dennis Dong All very good people who made our stay very memorable.

Some things need repair eg jets in the jacuzzi, shower taps in the men's changing rooms. Breakfast was average Wasn't a lot around the hotel Requests from house keeping was slow Parking was confusing

Gold lounge staff make the stay great. The rooms were spacious and clean and had everything we needed. Location is perfect and easy to get to many places in Beijing from there.

The lighting in the rooms is complicated and very dim even with all the lights on. A common problem in many hotels

Stayed 1 weeks in this hotel. Great service, my room can use golden lounge, a lots of extra benefits, dry clean your cloth, you can have breakfast in the lounge or downstairs. My room was included breakfast and lounge. But I think if you book the golden lounge room, you can have breakfast in the lounge. The lounge also offered afternoon tea and evening wine and food. Staffs are very polite. I also loved bathroom with bath tub and separate big shower, Japanese toilet. No one in the swimming pool, just so quiet.

The location is around office towers. Not possible to feel the vibe of the city around. But Metro is very close

On the last day we arrived at 8:45 for breakfast, two hours later than on previous days. At the later time it was very busy and the tables were not cleared or food replenished swiftly enough to avoid guests standing around waiting for tables or there not being cups at the coffee machine and empty serving plates on the buffet. Whereas most days breakfast was excellent on the last day, at the later time, it was pretty poor.

Location & Breakfast are good. I have access to Club Lounge which is great to have afternoon tea & evening cocktail. Staff are very nice and helpful.

Staff are polite and efficient, service was quick. Room is spacious and the bed was very comfortable. View and location were both very good. The Gold Member room is small but well decorated and quiet most of the time. The gym is very nice.

I am a fan of Fairmont but this one is on the low end in Fairmont standard. Staff are polite and efficient but the room, furnitures and hotel decorations are too old. Wood panels are peeling off. There were dust patches around the room. Glasses in the room needs to be cleaned before using. Lots of stain on the carpet and the lights are very outdated.
