Exceptionally Poor Experience – Absolutely Not a 5-Star Hotel We stayed at NUO Hotel Beijing from 20–22 December (winter), room 2220 and this was hands down one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Despite branding itself as a luxury 5-star hotel, NUO Hotel feels more like a basic business hotel, falling far short of true luxury service standards. 1. No Porter Service Upon Arrival 2. Faulty Air-Conditioning – Unresolved for Our Entire Stay 3. Humiliating and Unprofessional Checkout Experience At checkout, a staff member, Ms. Lu Yuan01, demanded that we produce a receipt to verify the payment mode for our deposit refund. Shouldn’t a hotel of this supposed standard have a system that records how deposits are paid at check-in? We were forced to open our luggage in the lobby, in full view of other guests, just to retrieve the receipt. What made this experience even more insulting was that Ms. Lu Yuan01 stood there watching us search, making us feel as though we were being treated like thieves. It was deeply embarrassing, humiliating, and disrespectful. Overall, this stay was nothing but disappointment, frustration and embarrassment. The service quality and staff professionalism are far below what is expected of a 5-star hotel.

The room was spacious, stylish, and well-appointed, with plush furnishings and floor-to-ceiling windows that framed breathtaking views of Beijing’s skyline and the mountains beyond. Every detail, from the luxurious bedding to the thoughtful in-room amenities, exuded comfort and sophistication. Breakfast at the hotel was a feast for the senses—a vast array of international and local delicacies presented with impeccable quality and freshness. Whether enjoying a classic Western spread or indulging in authentic Chinese flavors, every bite was a delight. For those seeking wellness and relaxation, the gym was superbly equipped, catering to every fitness need. The pool area was stunning, a peaceful oasis within the bustling city, though the water was a touch cool for my preference. Overall, NUO Hotel Beijing delivers an unparalleled experience of luxury, comfort, and world-class service. A truly outstanding stay—I can’t wait to return!

Very spacious room decorated with taste, beautiful and exceptionally clean. A fruit plate was waiting for me in the room. Every facility is new, I also like the espresso machine and the walking closest. Everything about this hotel is excellent. This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed for years.

The room was enormous and had a great view. The bathroom was a great size too. The bed was large and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was large and had a full range of Asian and Western options. The lobby smelled amazing.

The conceige was amazingly helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Tiger Li, who made every effort to ensure we were cared for. And, the clever and thoughtful design of the room is simply stunning. We will be back!

I stay in the hotel at Nuo Beijing for 8 nights and the experience was impressive. I was fracturing myself in Beijing and done an ankle operation at United family hospital next to Nuo, the staff and concierge and cleaner was incredibly supportive and helpful as I have to use wheelchair and a lot of things the staff makes it so convenience for me. I really appreciate the help and enjoy my stay in Nuo. I will definitely recommend you go, worth every penny you pay.

Great location between Chaoyang high speed train station and Beijing international airport. Lots to do around the hotel as well.

The hotel is designed beautifully shows a lot of fine detail of asian/chinese culture. i have stayed this hotel 7 years ago, at that time hotel was brand new. However, this time, i can see wear and tear in our room.

Location is not the best. it's bit far of central district and if you don't have didi chinese to call taxi, it is very hard to find the taxi on street. I was also surprised lobby bar closed at 10 pm on friday evening. When u enter swimming pool, it is required to wear hat in pool and wear their slippers as well.

I was very Thankful as Johnny helped me get a ticket on the Speed train for Kunming and also helped me make hotel reservations in Kunming.

Your WiFi needs to be secured with VPN. I would have the morning breakfast buffet and they would run out of certain dishes and not replace them. Some of the food items on the Buffet line were cold.

I wish the reception could communicate better in English

We returned after several years and still love this luxurious and comfortable hotel. Club accesses the executive lounge with all meals included at set times and 4pm check out. The pool with jacuzzi and gym are very clean. Staff are highly trained and professional. Check in was very efficient. The room is very comfortable and furnished splendidly. The spacious bathtub in particular is a highlight. The decor in the lobby features art.

I was literally forced to pay by cash / WeChat although it it clearly said that the hotel accepts international cards, so be prepared to potentially have such situation The room is not really new

Need more shelf space to keep clothes, etc. There is a lot of hanging place but little shelf space. I had to leave some of my clothes (like sweaters, gym clothes, trousers) in my bag.

Beautiful room, good size, very comfortable and a feeling of modern luxury . Staff were all excellent, especially Myrna on reception, who was so friendly and helpful. Excellent restaurant breakfast and room service dinner. Spa and good size swimming pool looked lovely, but with a full packed touring schedule we didn't have time to use it.

Hotel It looks very grand and atmospheric. Clean and glamours. If you like Chinese culture , and want to experience the new lux chinese hotel , you don’t want to miss this one.

Room lights is not bright enough for me, elevator is very dark as well. The stuff are polite, event too polite and too shy!
