Comfortable rooms. Lovely modern design. Common areas lacked any vibe.

Check in was cold and not welcoming at all. Staff not super friendly. Concierge were helpful tho booked a terribly overpriced tour of forbidden city and hutong with a very average guide. Overpriced so would suggest just go with Viator or similar

Beautifully designed and location which is extremely convenient

Room was very hot we even had to turn on the AC and it was 6 degrees outside. Some employees did not speak good English, for a hotel of this category and price is a must.

Deserves to be selected as number one choice: the curated design, the serenity, the attentive staff, the layout of the rooms, the unthinkable detail thought in advance, the dinning experience associated with the unique location with almost a direct connection to Beijing subway, transform a casual stay in a ultimate experience. The staff were courteous and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable, and provided impeccable service down to details such as providing a warm water bottle every night for our use in warming the beds during the cold winter days - something we did not expect at all, but were so grateful for. The location was also great, being located within walking distance of Wangfujing. The ambience of the hotel was calming and relaxing. I'm sure I'll be back if I'm ever in Beijing again!

Nothing - it was impeccable from the service to location.

Location is very good, and right in front of the entrance is the subway station 美術館站, very convenient for a tourist. Staff are very nice and helpful. Room is in good size and cosy. It was a very pleasant stay for me.

quality of restaurants are not as good as I was expected. Though the Chinese restaurant,富春居, specialized in Cantonese food, is rated with Michelin star, honestly I feel lots of HK restaurants are doing better food than this one, not to mention about the price. On Dec 24, I took the set menu from Rive Gauche, and based on the price, I really felt the food was so so... this is my personal comment.

Great hotel, similar theme to their sister hotel Puli in Shanghai, room was big and spacious. Well-equipped gym with latest exercise machineries though not that big.

The reception staff were very helpful and helped us resolve a problem with the taxi driver when our Alipay payment was not working.

The photo on the booking indicated a view of the city. But in the end we got a room with a view of the nearby wall of the neighboring house. This upset us. When we checked into the hotel, a deposit of 4000 ¥ was unexpectedly taken, which greatly exceeded the cost of the reservation. This upset us a little. The deposit was not returned for a long time, about a month. The staff does not know how the deposit is returned and could not help in any way.

Luxury, friendly staff, location is perfect walking to Wnagfu street

Everything amazing. Staff is helpful and friendly. I was assistance in every single request I made. They lady in the concierge service even manage to contact and recover some shopping bags I forgot in the taxi. We were very impressed with hotel.

The PuXuan Hotel in Beijing exceeded all expectations. From the impeccable service to the attention to every detail, our stay was flawless. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and catered to, while the cleanliness and elegance of the rooms made it feel like a true sanctuary. I even forgot a personal item at the hotel, and they were incredibly helpful in arranging to post it to me in Shanghai. Every corner of the hotel was thoughtfully designed, creating an atmosphere that was both luxurious and inviting. Highly recommend this beautiful place – it made our Beijing visit truly special!

Stunning Building and the design is slick, contemporary, boutique - yes has a stunning artistic Chinese aesthetic too. Great central location - a walk away from the North exit of The Forbidden City. Wonderful breakfast at Le Rive Gauche too.

I liked everything, they only thing i didn't like was that we didn't have more time there!

Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the lady at the front desk downstairs. Room was amazing and clean with super nice shower. Loved the Japanese toilet. Breakfast was amazing too, very worth the additional cost.

We had assumed the shuttle service was free but that was probably our mistake. The shuttle service is just a pre-booked premium car which you can just book yourself at the airport first cheaper.

There will be noise coming from the windows frame due to expansion and contraction. It’s very difficult to sleep well at night as it’s occurred every few minutes and can be quite loud. Was told by the manager that is the same for every rooms in the hotel.

I travelled with my two little children and the staff was incredibly attentive and assisted us with any queries we had. We loved our room and the setup, there were even special amenities for the children. The food (room service for dinner and the restaurant for breakfast) was very good and the choices left nothing to wish for. All in all we had the most wonderful stay - thank you!

Hotel is beautiful - from the entrance to the rooms. Rooms are very well equipped with a lot of space and they take care of every single small detail - spotless clean! Was magical to view some parts of the Forbidden City as we had just landed in Beijing

Was OK to communicate via translator but would have appreciated staff speaking English - not a problem at all, just a comment!

As this was our first trip to mainland China and 3 only had 3 nights in Beijing, we wanted to make the most of our time weeks before we left the UK we had excellent communication with their Customer Services / Butler team. Everyone was very helpful and Jason Wang in particular ensured we were able to book an amazing helicopter trip over the Great Wall on one of the busiest holiday times in China. The location is very special and the hotel is very central and a very cool design

Honestly not much could be done to improve this hotel. We were very pleased. I suppose as a Spa hotel, I assumed there would be a pool, and there isn't, but I would have realised that if I had been more attentive when booking

Considering the cost and prestige of the hotel, we were very disappointed by: 1. No swimming pool or hot tub 2. Very small and poorly equipped gym 3. Small room size 4. Sauna not working 5. Room service telephone not working 6. Not being told breakfast to the room was not included in our breakfast that we’d payed for then having to negotiate when checking out 7. Some staff were unfriendly 8. Room service dinner was wrong in some ways (burger cooked well done and asked for medium rare) my wife’s fries were not delivered Considering this is a ‘spa’ hotel we were expecting a good gym and facilities to accompany it. There is a major focus on style and look, but we found many standard things to be a let down. Furthermore, our check out process was very unfriendly and we left with a bad impression. The woman on the concierge desk was fantastic and helpful, but sadly everyone else was not.

The outer structure of the steel frame may produce abnormal noise due to cold shrinkage and thermal expansion. No swimming pool.

Fantastic luxury boutique hotel under Leading Hotels of the World management. It’s right opposite the National Art Museum of China and has an underground station on its doorstep, along the main Wangfujing street. Really like the whole arty vibe, fantastic breakfast spread with buffet à la carte and huge super clean luxury rooms with complimentary minibar. First hotel in a long time to serve us enough drinking water without me having to request for more water! They spotted that it was my sister’s birthday without us having to tell them, surprised her with balloons and flowers! I stayed at the Peninsula before moving here and I far prefer Puxuan! Very helpful and friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again in my next trip to Beijing!

No pool.

Right on top of a subway station and opposite the Gallery(?) Perfect location. Staff speaks proper english and is very friendly and helpful, even if you arrive at midnight.

Unfoprtunately we received what appeared to be a room for smokers. Better explicitly ask for a non smoker room when you book. Coming from a country where smoking is never allowed you just don't think about these kind of things. YUou could smell the smoke slighlty but other than that the room was flawless.

Spent one night over there. Clean convenient and nice view from the room. The staff are very nice and helpful. They took my luggage and walk me to the room with patient and introduced me their property. Special thanks to Archey and Tiff for being so helpful and nice to me.

Cleanliness, Cozy, Strategic Location. Walking distant to many tourist attractions like Forbidden City, Schichahai, Beihai Park, Wang Fu Jing .... etc. The staffs are friendly. Ashley is amazing, she is very friendly and always ready to offer to help. Cervine and Ron are also very helpful. They teach us how to use the Apps to call taxis and recommend us places to visits.

Deposit is 100% from accommodation, and refund is about 5 week days. This not convenient.

Great boutique hotel in the centre of Beijing. Located very close to the historical sites and right next to an underground station. Very modern design and fit out, rooms were excellent
