Great beach location if you want to get away from the busyness of the city. Also fantastic views. Good quality food and drinks.

For the price of a stay it lacks some finishing touches in terms of service and environment. The pool area is far too small for the number of rooms, which makes it a battle to get a bed. I would expect a slightly more luxurious check in experience for the price of this hotel

Our suite was amazing. The staff was super attentive and accommodating. The restaurants in the hotel were exceptional. We loved our stay here.

The pool party music was awful and so loud it took over the entire area. It was a lot to take for guests who were not interested.

First of all, I have to say that I have been in this hotel already many times. This time it was my birthday. I have to say HUGE Thank You to Ms. Claudia Lopes, who made my special day very special. Also the hotel staff were always and every time friendly and polite, helpful. The staff who help you with the luggage and bring you to the rooms – they are absolutely amazing. Lukas from Switzerland he was an absolute 5 star staff. Also breakfast staff are absolutely great, and have eye for details. You feel very welcome. To add this is my fav. Hotel in Barcelona.

This time what I was negatively surprised with is: that when you leave your stuff on the swimming pool lounge and you step away, they will just remove it, without you knowing it and strange people will be sited on your place. I didn’t know it, and for some strange reasons this information is nowhere written and/or communicated to guests or at least it was not to me, which is in casu misleading. If I my suggest: if there are rules, which guests have to stick to, please communicate those rules. And write the rules like on welcome papers or online. I didn’t’ know that after 15 min. “per internal rule” your stuff will be removed and you lose your lounge. I was checking out, and there was such a huge queue to wait and before I was waiting in the room for the staff to help me with the baggage; after 10 min. waiting in the room and since the phone line was always busy; I went down to just say at the reception please get my baggage. And of course, due to long waiting time, I had more as 15 min. for the whole check-out – and I was not informed about it. Specially it was not my fault that there was a queue, this is normal that in such hotels at certain times there are a lot of people checking-in and out. And to my surprise I came back, and my stuff was just gone; and on my place/lounge were other people sitting. This kind of behaviour is inappropriate in 5 star hotels. And one lady, who was apparently supervisor there, was really impolite and gave me the attitude “this is your mistake”. Once again if hotel has rules, hotel has to communicate the rules to guests. Like with breakfast, you know the time. But this lady was really not about helping me – I assume it was something personal, or she just doesn’t like my face. To my surprise she stared accusing me, instead of solving the situation. I didn’t want to ask for the manager, since I wanted to enjoy the sun, since I was flying back in the evening. But such behaviour is not acceptable. Accusing guests for your mistake.

Our room was not ready by check in time, but we were provided with free drinks and food as compensation. The room was not reasy beacuse the previous guest had smoked in the room. There was no smoke scent when we arrived in the room. The room was really spaceous and clean. The view was amazing and it was the best hotel bed I’ve ever slept on. The A/C was really good and changed quickly after we adjusted the temperature. Since the room was not ready when we checked and we had to wait around two hours, the hotel gave us free breakfast the whole stay, which was very nice of them! The breakfast was really good. There was a menu with different meals, from sweet to savoury, and the buffet was amazing. Top tier food and quality, and service of course. The pools and the pool beds were really good, there was a lot og space in the hotel and no need to rush to get a sun bed since there were many and also at the beach. We had one hour included spa-time every day during out stay and the spa had a pool, jaquizzi and two types og saunas. You could also reserve a massage, but that was not included. All in all the stay was amazing, we reallt enjoyed our time at the W hotel and would really recommend it and of course want to stay there again! :)

Location is a bit of a walk from town. That’s the only drawback but you do get a great beach so it’s a trade off.

We loved absolutely everything. The whole experince was more than great and will definitely come back to stay for more days.

The taste of food wasn't the best. it needed much more taste and salt, although the quality of the food is great but the it wasn't savory and tasty.

The view from our room on the 21st floor was fantastic and the room very comfortable with a really spacious shower and quality furnishings.

It annoyed me that when logging into the wifi it tried to upsell me to a faster connection. For the price of staying in this hotel you should get high speed wifi by default.

The W Barcelona is a very modern hotel with a very high level of serviceability to its guests. The hotel is also equipped with all the facilities one can wish for - an infinity pool, gym, spa, bar + pool, restaurants. The view is also spectacular, although we wouldn't have minded a room on the side overlooking the north side of the coastline - be sure to ask for a room with eve numbers! We did get one of the few rooms that showcases both a shower and a bath, definitely a plus!

While the W's offerings put it in its own league, so are the prices of the rooms.

The view was, well mind-blowing. Big thank you to the reception team for thinking of us, whether a geniune upgarde or not.

As a couple acceptable. however if sharing with a friend or less accepting partner, i woild consider changing the WC door or re-film so it is not possible to see in.

The hotel was fabulous staff were so good everywhere at the hotel We had a fabulous stay.

We only at breakfast at the hotel. Unfortunately the food was never hot. When ordering from the menu or from the self service. Such a shame as it was good quality food but was served barely warm. Having hot plates would really help Such a shame for our group.

The hotel, staff and quality of rooms, restaurants and bars, as well as pool and gym area are very well organized. In particular there is a team for VIP Guest Relations, managed by a gentleman called Julen Arenas. He is an absolute legend. Also the security team, and more specific Mr. Ayup are providing a very secure and comfortable feeling, when staying in the hotel !

The front desk employees who checked us in were fabulous!!! They were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We loved the club on the 25th? floor. The woman working the elevator to get up to the club was fantastic and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. All in all we had an incredible time at the W Bacelona. Can't wait to go back!
