Hotel Casa Camper, Barcelona

Very comfy and cozy bed and room. Water pressure of the shower was PHENOMENAL. The towels and such provided were great. A good shower experience can make or break a hotel and this one was awesome. We utilized the “self serve honor system” bar upstairs and it was a great place to relax. Walking distance to so many great things! Would highly recommend this place!

The pillows on the bed could have been a little better and more supportive.

I don’t like the design of the aparments, the fact that the living area is in a separate room was not helpful for us. Also, there was no door separating the shower from the bedroom, which we didn’t like. If you want to go to the bathroom in the night, it’s almost impossible to not wake up your partner, cause you can hear everything since it’s not separated by a door. You can hear people walking on the hallway, when a door closes you feel a burst of air coming in the room.

Location, great breakfast and great stuff

Room was excellent. Location was a big plus; we were very close to the Gothic Quarter. Taxi was available at the front door, which is not always the case in Barcelona.

Room service was generally good...we had to ask for the coffee bags one morning, the robe was not hung up daily, and there were two water glasses but one of them was being used in the bathroom for toothbrushes so we had to share the other for drinking (why not leave an extra?). We didn't complain because overall the room service was good and clean...these are just small things that could improve a couple's stay!

The breakfast was very generous, with an interesting menu. The 'bedroom' – the seating area was on the other side of the corridor – was comfortable, with a great shower, lots of storage, including Shaker style pegs, and automatic shutters. Staff were friendly and helpful. A kettle was provided on request, to avoid having to go downstairs for a hot drink at night. It wasn't the right time of year to sit out on the terrace but the pretty outside shower, surrounded by plants, should be a boon in summer. The sister restaurant Dos Pebrots, around the corner, offered great food.

The promised 24/7 snacks disappeared very quickly, leaving nothing but fruit (no complaint about that) or things like crisps that had to be paid for, after about 4pm. Room service options (from outside restaurant) were limited. The sitting room was a little dreary and fusty (this improved after the window was left open for some time).

We had a great stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. The reception staff deserves special mention — Carlos was absolutely amazing, very friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome from the first moment. The beds were extremely comfortable, which made our stay even better. The location of the hotel is very convenient, close to everything we needed. Breakfasts were outstanding — delicious, with an excellent and varied menu, plenty of choices for everyone. Overall, the staff was incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again.

Wow. We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Camper!! The location is perfect (we were first-time visitors to Barcelona), our corner room was enormous. The bathroom was great - probably the best shower we have ever had in a hotel room! It was quiet, the climate control was easy and efficient, the bed was SO comfortable. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but we appreciated the availability of coffee, fruit and snacks throughout the day. The staff could not have been more welcoming. And the bar, billiards room downstairs is very comfortable and the bartender knows how to make a good cocktail! When we come back to Barcelona, this will be our first choice for accommodations.

The staff was fantastic and helpful. Little free amenities like free pastries and espresso available after breakfast go a long way. Also, the honor system roof top bar was something I've never seen before. Having a separate living space across the hall was also a really cool extra.

A hotel that offers comfort through creativity. It offers you two rooms for the price of one, a bedroom and a living room, snacks all day and night. Everything is a 10: cleanliness, quietness, breakfast, location.

Súper cool hotel. Great location. Loved the terrace and basement bar. We were SO thankful we were allowed an early check-in after our international flight where we were unable to sleep. We were able to take a long nap, then hit the city. Also loved our separate living room with a hammock!

There was no choice in pillows. I know everyone is different, but the pillows weren’t a good fit for us. Also, we had a water moving/dripping noise all night that distracted from sleep. Sounded like someone was running water above us all night (maybe they were and this isn’t the hotel’s fault?). Minor inconveniences for a great stay. Loved the hotel.

One of the best Hotels I’ve ever been lucky enough to stay in. Quirky, individual and very friendly. The design and facilities throughout were exceptional, but special shoutouts for the cocktail bar and the roof terrace. I’ll be back.

Not only was Casa Camper ideally located but we were absolutely surprised and delighted by the accomodation. Staff were super friendly and helpful. They created us and showed us to our room(s) - a seperate private lounge area!- explained how everything worked. They thought of everything including snacks available throughout the day. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

Wish we were staying for more than one night.

Fantastic stay at this trendy property, it would be the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Very safe, you need a room key to enter the hotel (so no thieves can enter). The beds and pillows were so comfortable, delicious food/breakfast and the staff were fantastic in all areas of the hotel, they could do enough for everyone in our group. The location is great in old town.

Only the drink prices, they were a bit over the top. (Especially when serving yourself).

It is a really beautiful hotel with very well designed rooms in the center of Barcelona, surrounded by great restaurants and shopping. Staff are lovely and very helpful and knowledgeable.

This isn’t quite the same as Casa Camper Berlin and nor should it be. It moves at a different pace and the top floor isn’t 24 hours. It definitely is a lot harder to work out of and is really more of a tourist/vacation hotel.

Extremely comfortable room with great bed sheets, pillows, hot shower with plenty of pressure, huge windows and everything beautifully designed. Custom typographical signage guides you through the hallways and in room features. The air conditioning system is the most quiet we have ever seen anywhere in the world. Someone was paying attention to the guest experience when they were planning this property. Small cafe downstairs serves great little sandwiches, fruit, yogurt and of course espresso in the morning. They'll make you eggs and other things if you ask. There's a great rooftop terrace with a self-service bar. The location is absolutely perfect with access to shops, cafes, main boulevard's and taxi services. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location, quirky room- the vertical garden is a nice use of space- very friendly and helpful staff and lovely terrace. I didn’t realise but it’s connected to the Camper shoe brand.

Beds a bit firm for my taste, no fridge in room, no exhaust fan or window openings, so having the shower very hot can set off the fire alarm.

Overall we had a fantastic experience, staying at Casa Camper. Great touch of having free snacks and beverages during the afternoon and evening. The hotel was clean, supremely quiet and had some great additional touches. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and the view onto the plant wall was a delight. Just a two minute walk to La Rambla down a very quaint street, well stocked with cafes and shops. The staff are friendly and attentive,particularly the chap who booked us in who was an absolute credit to the brand and should be congratulated.. do not be put off by the red decoration.. it’s not totally to my taste, but was not in anyway offensive .. loved the roof terrace, a great way to relax on an evening and watch the sun go down !!

Not sure about anyone else, but found the separate “lounge” area to each room a waste, as we never used it A misleading comment on the booking.com page stating “free taxi” to and from the airport was disappointing A kettle in the room would be nice or at least complementary drinks during the breakfast period .. we are tea addicts, so need that brew in a morning !!

Great location with very friendly and helpful staff. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and rooms were nice and dark at night. We arrived a little early and they could help with an earlier check in which was really appreciated after a day of travel.

It is just a typical hotel room with no view, but was great for two nights as we preferred being close to the city centre.

The room was so clean and comfortable and the window view of the potted plant wall was so fun! The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. They gave us excellent advice about local transportation and restaurants.
