Hotel Ohla, Barcelona

Loved the position of the hotel. Breakfast fabulous. Staff super attentive.

The open plan bathrooms already look dated. The shower door was pretty dangerous/ hinges were barely hanging on. Gym was lacking in range of free weights.

Staff were very helpful, great location. Plenty of shops nearby on the side streets and very safe.

The rooftop bar is over-rated. Full of selfie hipsters so one visit is truly enough there.

The room and constant water service was incredible as were the staff from entry till we left. I highly recommend this place

Outstanding, wonderful hotel with sensational roof top Pool and bar. Staff were also wonderful and very helpful.

Ideal location to explore the city and also a quiet nights sleep as not on a busy road. Staff were amazing- helped with all our needs from storing luggage to organising taxis and hospitality was second to none!

Everything! We enjoyed the rooftop on the evening we arrived for a beautiful view of the city, while enjoying a Cava & Tempranillo!

Pricy but you get what you pay for

Our experience at Ohla Barcelona was exceptional and amazing. It was our second time, and we enjoyed the stay and the comfort and the service of staff. I strongly recommend the hotel.

The feel and look of the premises. The staff was outstanding. The roof top terrace with the pool . Breakfast was amazing and of great value .

The beds are not comfortable for the type of Hotel . I would expect better linens and a more comfortable bed for a boutique type of property. The rooftop pool should not close so early for the guest residing at the hotel .

This hotel embraces everything that is wonderful about Barcelona - food, style, art and culture. It's the perfect location for a short break being right in the heat of the Gothic Quarter and has wonderful views from the rooftop pool/bar area. The breakfast is awesome after a great nights sleep in our quiet room with a comfy bed. Special mention to the staff who helped me celebrate my birthday with not one, but two bottles of Cava and for arranging dinner at the fully booked Caelis restaurant which was an exceptional treat.

The shower was in a glass cube in the middle of our room which took a little getting used too.

The staff were incredibly helpful, polite and knowledgable about the city and made us feel very comfortable. Special mention to Javi on the front desk who was a star!

We thought that the swimming pool could have been cleaner, at several points of the day including first thing in the morning it was a bit dirty.

Location, the service and the staff. After they found out that it was my wife bday, they left a complementary bottle of champagne and chocolate. And they even wrote happy birthday on the bathroom mirror.

Hotel situated in a great location, easy to get to all the sights on foot. The rooftop area is a great benefit to the hotel, however it does open to outside guests from 6pm so can get very busy. You need to make sure you book your spot.

For the type of hotel we were surprised by the number of sachets of sauces etc at breakfast. Although I wonder if this is a hang over from Covid.

The standard rooms are perhaps on the lower limit of 5 star, but perfectly serviceable and clean. Shower excellent.

Everything. Beautifully laid out. Comfortable. Quiet luxurious.

The excessively attentive staff - sometimes you just want to check in without any drama - and the lack of lifts, with one occupied everynight by visitors to roof top bar.

Room was spacious with a lovely corner window and view. Great bathroom with a bath and shower. Breakfast was very nice. The location of the hotel in the Gothic Quarter is great. Service from front desk was excellent. Tapas on the roof top is not to be missed.

The staff are amazing. From the welcome at the door to the reception staff to the lovely chap who helped us to our room, they are all 5 star! We were made to feel so welcome with the lovely glass of wine and chocolate in reception and genuine smiles and good humour from everyone working there including the room cleaning people. As an added bonus we enjoyed a swim on the roof with amazing views and a lovely dinner in the evening. Very special place in a wonderful setting!
