Hotel Praktik Bakery, Barcelona

The location is great. At 100-200m from La Pedrera and Avenue Diagonal, in walking distance to Placa Catalunya, close to metro stations. You almost don't need to use public transport, for the main attractions. Breakfast was very good, but in some of the days we preferred to buy ourselves from the bakery (which is in the same location) what we wanted, just for a change (we booked without breakfast, and we paid over there for it). The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, there was an air conditioning, and it was quiet.

The room was quite basic, even though it had everything we needed. A bit small, no table, no chair. The sink is in the hall, which has has two separate glass doors (partially matte) towards the toilet and towards the shower. If you need a bit of privacy, you need to close the door between the room and the hall. But it was fine, all in all. It was a nice hotel.

The room was very well organised and comfortable. Shower was great. The staff were really helpful, especially Victor. It's a good location. We could walk to most of the main features. Breakfast was great value and it was really nice to be able to come back in the evening and have a cup of tea. To wake up each morning above a bakery was wonderful. There are also nice eating places nearby.

There was nothing to dislike.

The room was clean and tidy, and quality was great. Staff were exceptional and very friendly. The location of the hotel is in a really nice central location with lots to do. Further to this they have a lovely bakery many delicious products I'd urge everyone to try.

Great stay, perfect location to Barcelona, we found some great places to eat near by - Josephine’s and some good tapas restaurants. The bakery is AMAZING! and we had a lovely room. Thank you for accommodating my request as the stay was for my boyfriends 30th.

Having bakery downstairs was very convenient for a quick snack. And the hotel smelled great. We enjoy walking and exploring new cities on foot. Location was excellent for us.

Our room had everything we needed but was quite small. No place to sit other than the bed.

Although the rooms are on the small size, I loved the large shower cubicle and sliding door. The fact it includes a bakery makes it simple to grab something to eat prior to leaving for the day.

Very clean, modern and quiet rooms. On the smaller side, but that is to be expected with Europe. It’s only mildly an issue if you have big suitcases like us. Loved that we were staying right on top of a bakery!!! The pastries, sandwiches and breads were all delicious and well priced. Easy-ish transport links around the city

Not an issue but more a flag for people traveling with friends - you don’t get a heap of privacy in the bathroom. Toilet and shower doors are only semi frosted. Again not an issue at all, but I would probably want to know that if I was traveling with someone other than my partner

great bakery, perfect location

The king bed was great, shower was wonderful and the buffet was delicious. Close to museums but near the local neighborhood and restaurants.

Water was cold in my room

Location was perfekt close everywhere , u can choose walk or metro as was close too, but also staying just around in this district was interesting enough.Breakfast was good sandwiches and local pastries and coffee was perfect too. I’m looking forward to book this boutique hotel again. Mine room was small but provide everything what I need. Recommend for single or couple with not much baggage/ mine feedback base on room ar the 3rd floor

We absolutely loved staying in praktik bakery we would definitely recommend staying here, great value for money. Room was spotlessly clean. Bed was extremely comfortable with crisp fresh linen. Excellent sound proofing ( blocked outside noise completely) Shower was large, great water pressure always nice and hot. Rooms over beautiful bakery with fresh pastries, rolls and coffee every day lovely smell in bedrooms in the mornings (but not over powering) lovely location, felt very safe and we could walk short distance to public transport or taxis although only approx 30 mins walk to most places in Central barcelona.

would have liked a chair in the room

The location was great, we loved exploring the Eixample district and it was close enough to walk easily to the Sagrada Familia and other Gaudi sites. It was so nice to wake up to the smell of fresh bread baking and we liked how the bakery was always busy and created such a warm and friendly atmosphere. It made it feel like we were part of the neighbourhood, especially as there were so many other great places to eat nearby as well. The staff were friendly and helpful and we appreciated their help in fixing the locked safe and booking us a taxi for our departure.
