Hotel The Peninsula, Bangkok

We were particularly impressed by the efficiency and friendliness of the staff. 10 out of 10 there. We also liked the slightly colonial charm of the hotel. The Thiptara Thai Restaurant has to be the best we have experienced in Thailand. - so atmospheric and excellent food.

Location is great and the pool area is lovely. Room was very clean and the staff were excellent.

The rooms are slightly dated with the television in the bathroom looking like it is from the late 1990s.

This hotel never fails to impress. We have stayed here over the years on many occasions and each time the level of service and ambience make each stay a wonderful treat.

Loved the location and the river boat services. That was really convenient when we were out and about, particularly at night. The staff were amazing. Particularly the concierge team who made lots of reservations for us. We also really liked that the hotel had little stands with activities to introduce us to Thai culture.

I love the excellent service. The location is perfect and the boats that take you across the river are magical. This is my 4th visit. I will be back. The pool and the staff do an amzing job. The property dining is extremely good.

Classic luxury hotel at a perfect spot in Bangkok. Top-notch service and high class facilities. Excellent breakfast. Excellent riverside cocktails.

Amazing hotel with wonderful staff. Everything from check in untill check out is perfect. The congierge also helped us get a ring sized in 3 hours!

Upgrade Room, very nice Breakfast as always, perfect I like the Location on the other Side of the River very much

Breakfast ist still outstanding. Thai restaurant serves great thai dishes in wonderful location. Breakfast with highgest quality, all kinds of food, best service! Rooms are still nice but furniture outdated. E.g. plugs for smartphones next to the bed are not existing - this is a no go in our times. Also telephone and electronics very old. Location still perfect and I would say the best in bangkok! pick up and drop off service at the airport (staff even does the check in for you!) is absolutely perfect!

Nice location, perfect service

When you reach for 5 star hotels, you expect a certain service and the Peninsula just goes beyond these expectations.

Views are very nice and the rooms are specious … the pool is very nice too, especially considering it’s a city hotel

The accommodation and staff are exceptional. The location is superb for the major tourist sights and a great place to take drinks by the river. Main thing is the service, excellent.

The cost of food. You are better off eating outside. Iconsiam is next door. I don't think the cost justifies the ability to have a nice table
