The Yard Hostel, Bangkok

Great atmosphere, cool setting, spacious clean rooms, nice design and very friendly staff. We very much enjoyed our stay in a private room. Nice little breakfast with coffee and free filtered water. Great little restaurants and coffee shops around. The burger place on the property is amazing!

It’s a quiet neighbourhood with cool restaurants and cafes; however, it is quite far from central downtown. The train system is easy enough to figure out and only a 10 walk away.

Super cute hostel in a fun neighborhood (lots of cafes and restaurants nearby, plus less than 10 min to BTS Ari station). I only stayed one night, but the outdoor and indoor common areas were super chill and spacious. Great place to read a book for a while or grab beers with folks, people were really friendly (seemed like a good social vibe). The staff were awesome, they let me check out a bit late and keep my towel for a few hours to shower after check out. The included breakfast was basic but yummy, a lot of fruit with yogurt and bread. My bed was comfy with good curtains and the wifi was pretty good. Would love to stay here again but for longer!

My dorm room was a bit small. I was in a 6 bed mixed dorm and it was pretty cramped, there was very little floor space for bags. The lockers are decent sized but were a little too small for my big backpack.

I liked everything My first time travelling alone and staying in a hostel,and it was super friendly The staff are amazing and couldn’t be more helpful I only planned to stay there once before moving on,but have already booked to return for a few days

Really nice outdoor communal area. Lots of solo travellers. Filtered water readily available. Bar about 10 metres away (not particularly cheap, but nice to have). I stayed in the private room which was fine and the air con worked a treat.

The stairs to get to the bed in the private room were really steep, definitely take care of you're staggering about after a boozy night.

The hostel has an eye for sustainability.

It could be a bit more social.

The common area to just sit and relax is amazing and is a good way to get away from Bangkok‘s busyness. It’s a great way to get to know some people without the hostel being a party hostel. The breakfast was delicious. Every day there is fresh fruit, some yoghurt and bread with jam. The staff was really nice and helpful.

The rooms and the lockers are a bit small for a big backpack.

A friend recommended me this hostel in Bangkok since she had such a great time there and I couldn't agree more! This hostel is very relax and social at the same time. It is not a party hostel (which I prefer) but has a great garden area which makes it easy to chat with people. I feel like all the people visiting this hostel are nice haha, just as the staff who were all super super super friendly. There also is a inside common area to play games, chill and do your own laundry. Beds were comfortable just as the showers and toilets. I also like the area in Bangkok, it is very relax and nice

Well my room had a keyboard problem so going to the bathroom was a long journey.

The place was great, very nice yard / garden, when I met many great people. Really nice and friendly staff.

The staff was extremely friendly! The next day, I had difficulty communicating with a Grab driver, and the staff helped me make a call to him, ensuring the driver could easily pick me up.

Such a lovely place. So easy to meet people. So easy to rest and restore your energy.

My favourite hostel in Bangkok. Such a breath of fresh air. Staff are super attentive and the facilities are great. Wash and dry your own clothes within an hour

Fantastic atmosphere, wonderful staff, walking distance to BTS Skytrain station. Private room was small but confortable, with a firm mattress. Laundry machines on-site, and a lovely café attached. Breakfast was minimal but tasty (bread, butter, jam, yoghurt, fruit). You can get other things (avocado toast etc) at the PM Café.

The Yard is probably my favourite hostel in all of SEA so far. The rooms are really nice, and the social space and vibe of the hostel are just amazing. I've been here 3 times so far and would always come back. All the people who work here are super nice and helpful. The breakfast is 10/10, they have homemade bread and jam and fresh fruit every morning as well as really good coffee.

It's an incredible oasis in Bangkok, the outside common area is shaded and cool which is excellent to escape the heat. There was a wonderful mix of different travelers and the owner and workers were very kind and accommodating. Great and affordable beer and cocktails at the bar. You can't go wrong with any of their food recommendations and they'll help you out with arranging transportation. The free weekend market tour was a good way to get introduced to the basics of Thai language and culture, and the guide was very fun. Can't envision myself staying anywhere else I'm Bangkok!

Loved the staff, the environment is really designed to easily meet people and honestly had the best few nights!

We’ve been at the Yard for 3 nights with our baby and it was perfect. The location is great, lots of options to eat without being too overcrowded. All the staff was lovely and the courtyard is lovely.
