Aparthotel Zoku, Amsterdam

Great place and the staff were very warm and welcoming. Very easy to get around Amsterdam. Very convenient for the flea market and Artis.

It's a small gripe but the cutlery and bowls in the kitchen weren't washed. Easily rectified

Room was a perfect size and in a great location to walk around.

Special props to Julia and Tomka. Julia heroically took my forgotten passport to a waiting Bolt Car to rush it the airport to just make our flight on time. OK, truthfully, The train strike slowed things down so much that even though the passport did arrive on time, they would not expedite us to go through security so we had to catch another flight. Still, a good story.

That it is made clear the rooms don’t all have the views of the rooftop.

I had a wonderful stay. The room was excellent. I particularly appreciated the many co-working spaces available, which made it easy to focus and be productive. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the city.

We really enjoyed our stay at Zoku. The amenities were great, and the hotel itself was very comfortable. The staff was exceptionally helpful and even allowed us to check in earlier than expected, which we truly appreciated. The room was smartly designed, offering plenty of space and functionality for longer stays. Everything was just right — from the excellent shower pressure to the incredibly comfortable bed and pillows. I would absolutely stay at Zoku again!

The decor, facilities, design and attention to detail was perfect in both the rooms and the communal space. The check in process was easy and straight forward and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

- I would have preferred a better placement of the TV so that it could be seen from the bed as well, not just from the couch - I would have appreciated a wider variety at breakfast, particularly in terms of vegetables and sweets

Imagine your home, plus all the benefits and features of a hotel, plus the outdoor areas of a retreat center, plus every area of the rooftop designed in such a way that you have a different experience in each...put it all together and that's what you get at Zoku. This is my cousin and my spot in Amsterdam from now on!

The room was spacious. Great location. Loved the casual vibe. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Nothing really... the name board can be a bit more visible. The loft bed is not the most comfortable for 2 people. You have to constantly cross over the person near the stairs to get out.

They should have had bicycle helmets available with bicycle rentals, although I understand this is a problem throughout Amsterdam.

I couldn’t believe this was a hotel. It felt just like home! The loft was incredibly comfortable, more like having my own apartment while on vacation. It had everything I needed, and the cozy, well-thought-out design made it so easy to relax and unwind. The rooftop was another highlight. It was the perfect spot to sit back, enjoy the view, and indulge in some amazing food and drinks. What really made the stay unforgettable, though, was the staff. Everyone was so kind, receptive, and genuinely helpful. Their hospitality added a personal touch that made the whole experience even more special. Can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The only thing I would say is that the room was not exceptionally clean. There were some crumbs on the floor as well as food droppings on the table. It seemed to not be cleaned very well. All in all, the stay was fantastic.

Great location. Very convenient to be able to book a parking spot right behind the hotel. The roof top bar was great! Good breakfast with good coffee. We‘d stay there again!

Our first night was not so calm as the room was located right below the bar (live music). But the Zoku team dealt with it professionally.

They have a bizarre heating system so it was cokd in the room not the usual heating on/off- you need to be patient and increase by 3 degrees only

Beautiful rooftop facilities. Loved being able to sit outside in the sun and with a drink. The room was also modern and cool - loved the design! Felt like it was my own little apartment abroad.

Zoku is the perfect place for a holiday in Amsterdam with a little bit of working from “home”. The room has all the facilities you need and has been thought out very carefully. But the real piece de resistance is the upstairs lounge area, which is a perfect work space during the day and a very lively bar on the evening. Only downside is that you do have to request someone comes clean your room, as they might not do it everyday otherwise.

There was a stain on the sofa. The seat was replaced immediately by the manager

It’s the second time I have stayed in a Zoku hotel (first Paris now Amsterdam), and I am becoming a bit of a fan. There is everything you need in the studio and the common areas are lovely with a beautiful rooftop terrace. I will definitely be back.

Zoku Apartments are roomy, with all the modern finishings as well as a great restaurant if you so choose. Great location in Amsterdam to get you anywhere.

Loft bed is somewhat difficult to access - be prepared to climb up and over your bed partner.

Great use of space, good lighting and thoughtful, generous, touches: Marie-Stella-Maris toiletries, plenty of coffee pods and decent teabags. I liked the pantry on each floor where you could pick up / borrow extra towels, crockery or an iron. The rooftop terraces and co-working spaces are bright and welcoming. Lockers and changing facilities are provided to store your luggage and get ready after check-out. The whole hotel concept is thoughtfully designed with a relaxed but professional vibe and human-centric approach.
