Aparthotel Zoku, Amsterdam

Loved the concept, a compact home away from home with everything you need. Location is also great, away from the madness but walkable.

A bit pricey when you book less days. I guess it’s meant for long stays. If we ever have to stay longer in Amsterdam this will be our accommodation of choice. They clean every three days and we were just there for 4. It was a no brainer to have the place cleaned a day before we left so we opted out.

It was very modern and unique not like any other apartment. Also very close to all the sights and attractions.

Nothing it was perfect

The rooms are small, efficient, quiet and REALLY COOL! The upstairs lounge and restaurant are AMAZING. You can work, eat great food or just chill. Bit, open, modern, warm space to hang out in.

Slightly busy, commercial street. But you don’t feel it inside the hotel at all.

My husband and I recently had a fantastic stay at the Zoku Hotel in Amsterdam, and I can’t recommend it enough. The location is perfect for exploring the city, and the apartment setup truly felt like a home away from home. Every detail in the room was thoughtfully designed, well-furnished, and comfortable. The rooftop was a real highlight—having breakfast and dinner there was a treat. The food was absolutely wonderful, complemented by stunning views. The staff made the experience even better with their warm and friendly service. This hotel is a gem, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam. The property is exactly as shown in the pictures, and it’s a great place for people who travel and want to work at the same time. You have access to Spar grocery store which is on the opposite side, roof top cafe above the building and also under the building. Metros like waterlooplein and weesperplein are 10 mins walking distance, Centraal station is 15 mins from. Waterlooplein metro station. Rembrandt park is 15 mins walking distance. They provide free lockers and changing room.

I wish the check in time was a bit early, around 1pm. The room is not exactly soundproof, I could hear people in the corridor.

Location is near the metro (4-5 mins walk) and walking distance to Dam Square. There is a kitchen. Enough pots and pans are provided. Locker-room and changing room after checking-out are excellent. (Paid) laundromat is also good. Self-check in was good and easy too.

Whatever accommodation model you try to do/achieve, room cleaning and changing towels are and will be always appreciated. Nobody wants to do “house work” when they’re on business trip or holidays. Staff weren’t really friendly. They were so so, kinda standard “AI” staff.

Very clean, efficient and friendly. Very friendly and buzzy feel to the bar / restaurant / workspace. Food available in the upstairs space, and the (unrelated?) restaurant directly below (Petit Lou) is excellent. Very friendly welcome (Charlie), and all of the staff were great. We joined a couple of events (music etc) in the upstairs area, which were great fun.

The design of the lofts makes very clever use of space. The communal top floor is great both for working and enjoying food and drink.

We were put in a room with bunk beds which we had booked but the room was so dark with barely any light from the windows, but we had a lovely gentleman move us to a new room which was amazing he was fantastic help

phenomenal concept of small living and much bigger than the photos give the impression. loft bed easily negotiated. and great quality for the fit out.

tea and coffee facilities but no milk. regular room rate ($550 per night) is shockingly expensive. A lower rate and I think these lofts would be regularly booked out.

I recently stayed at this hotel in the loft n.213 on the second floor, and I was thoroughly impressed. Overall, this hotel provides a wonderful blend of comfort, convenience, and a friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy their stay in Amsterdam.
