Got upgraded to loft room

our stay was great! the staff was very friendly. we were able to check in a little earlier than anticipated since the room was ready. at arrival there is a free welcome drink voucher which you can use anytime during your stay on the rooftop bar/cafe. the room was very nice and cozy. great amenities. the rooftop bar/cafe/terrace is very nice on a sunny day. the location was okay, walking distance from a lot of attractions and also close to the metro and tram (about 7 minutes). there is a locker room to leave your belongings after checking out, which was really useful. we will gladly stay at zoku again next time!

Incredible rooms and rooftop area. Really lovely staff, very helpful and welcoming. Quiet, relaxing terrace for smoking and sitting around open 24/7 was amazing.

The stairs up to your bed are a little wobbly and slide back in when you climb them sometimes.

The size of rooms and the friendliness of staff

Only thing was that a strip of wood that covered the bed came loose

Everything was super-clean and good quality. The rooms are soundproofed so you don’t hear any noise from outside the building. There were lovely touches to the room like an umbrella for rainy days and herbal teabags. Zoku also have a pantry on each floor with extras like pillows, yoga mats and other things you might need like extra mugs and glasses. The sixth floor holds the reception, bar and dining spaces. This is accessed across a conservatory-like walkway with beautiful plants and views across the city. This is a really special space where people can hang out and has a friendly atmosphere with comfy sofas. The staff are absolutely the best thing about Zoku. They made us very welcome and were friendly and professional. The breakfasts are outstanding.

Location is great, amenities are great and it's a very quite area.

The room was not clean at all. Refrigerator was dirty, the room was very very dusty. I had to go buy allergy pills because of how dusty the room was. And to top it off, they do not accept cash.

I liked the apartment layout, it had everything you needed and plenty of space for two people.

The room could get quite cold even with the heating turned up. Most of the staff were wonderful, apart from one lady at breakfast. She was not very welcoming or attentive. She said we could order certain things from her, but she was not available. One of her colleagues from reception eventually had to seat guests. I could appreciate this if she was covering a large area and lots of guests, but this was not the case. I asked her for gluten-free bread, and she was not happy. The only time she smiled was when her friend came in, she had a totally different attitude. I understand people have bad days but it came across rude. All other staff we met were lovely.

We already have experienced three wonderful days in Amsterdam. Zoku is an excellent option to stay some days in a comfy place, with everything you need. The space is so clean, the service is perfect, and the photos are completely the same as reality.

I like everything, but it would be better if the staff could clean each night the room.

Room was spacious and well equipped. Location excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly.

A bike pump for the rental bikes would be useful.

The space upstairs for working, relaxing and eating was absolutely brilliant - really enjoyed the diversity of spaces and ideas. Loved our room - great use of space, clean, sense of fun. Perfect.

Here is my second time. And zoku its like your house at Amstwrdam. Which I am mostly like the atmosphere. People working here are super lovely , young and energetic. Foods are really yummy . And the location is perfect , like out of center but with 15 min walk in the canal side and center. I love Zoku ;))

There is not anytjing that I did complaine honestly. Just the fridge was smeling a little bit , and kettle was with lime. And there wasnt welcome water at room. Just these tiny minors.

Lovely Place and good location. We opted to upgrade to the 'loft' apartment which was very nice. Didn't get a chance to use many of the facilities but overall it's a nice place. The restaurant and co-work area on the top level is cool too.

Only thing that would be great to include is if there was a toaster in the kitchen!

Located 3 minutes from Theater Carre. Most of the center of Amsterdam can be reached by walking. Otherwise, alternate options of transport are close by. The lounge area at the 6th floor, with the restaurant and bar is very cosy & colourful and therefore a great place for a drink or have lunch or diner. The loft we stayed in was great! Everything what you need is in there!

You can only have breakfast between 8.00-10.00 am and therefore the breakfast area becomes very busy between 9.00 and 10.00 am in the weekend. It would be great if the time could be extended during the weekends.

I love this hotel. The reception/cafe/restaurant/work space area on the rooftop is delightful. It has nice restrooms, storage, and shower. My unit was great. I stayed in one of lofts. It is wonderful (though it can be a bit tight for two). Room had everything I needed. Minifridge is not that mini, which is great. Plenty of kitchen items. Amazing shower (one of the best water pressures in Europe). There is plenty of lighting. They have ice machines on every floor, which is rare in Europe. I even used the rings.

Guests have little control over the room temperature. You are only allowed to change the room temp by 3 degrees celsius up or down.

It’s a very nice and cozy room. All the facilities are there, and it has a good vibe. The bar and rooftop is amazing. The staff is very friendly.

The room could be a bit cleaner, floors and walls good use a good scrub.

The loft room was perfect for us, and felt more like a small apartment than a hotel room. Loved it.

Can't say that there was anything I didn't like about Zoku.

I asked for a parking spot, at check in I was told parking spots are managed by another company. No spot was available at that time ( later that evening a spot came available)

having a lil appartement was super cool, and the rooftop bar / hangout area was really pretty and well maintained

it is very expensive, without the discount I wouldn't have been able to justify the price

Modern style, nice staff, cozy ambiance, good location

He property is unique. Would love to visit in the spring and use the top deck.

Just a suggestion...a box of tissues, shower wash rag, roll of paper towels, and some table place mats, and two wine glasses. Otherwise everything was EXCEPTIONAL 🩷

The place is very cozy , clean , everything was perfect they had a good rooftop view , the room was always clean , you don’t have to worry about a thing , the stuff is very nice and helpful!! , it’s my 5th time in Amsterdam and it’s the best hotel I have ever stayed in, wow !! I will always come back

Due to a flight cancellation, we needed to satay an additional night, and they made it all work !

Needed facial tissues and a wash cloth in the apartment, also some wine glasses would be nice...everything else was exceptional !!!

Great design, a very young and welcoming hotel, with a beautiful bar/restaurant area on the top floor offering a lovely view.

Small rooms

The XL Loft was very spacious and we loved the vibes. It was spotless and had everything you would need with a pantry down the end of the corridor with extra towels/pillows/toilet paper etc that you can grab yourself whenever needed. Within walking distance to the centre of Amsterdam (about 15/20 mins) and very accessible via tram/metro. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Overall a gorgeous hotel and lovely stay. Would definitely recommend!

I really loved the hotel I stayed in. The loft-style apartment was very stylish, comfortable, and well-designed. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect — very central and easy to get around, yet quiet and peaceful at the same time. I truly felt at home during my stay. I would definitely choose this place again and highly recommend it to others. ✨

The only downside is the location; it’s about a 20-minute walk to the main city center, which can feel a bit far if you are planning to go back and forth throughout the day.

Room is a good size, bed is large and comfy. The sixth floor cafe is really nice.

The sheet doesn’t fit the bed so u sleep like princess and the pea. Buy sheets that fit! We were on the 5th floor so heard early morning noise from above (cafe).
