Location, decoration cleanliness.

Gym was small and inadequate.

My room exceded expectations by a long shot. It was cozy and friendly. It felt like home away from home.

From start to finish, the service and standards in the hotel were impeccable. We couldn’t fault the staff, the room, both restaurants and the bar. Food and drinks all memorable. They made a special celebration extra special

We loved the location and the style of the hotel. Although it is large, it didn’t feel it to us as our room was on the next floor up from the lobby. The gardens in the interior courtyard were spectacular in autumn colours. Our included Breakfast covered all tastes and was excellent. On reflection, we would not have included breakfast on last morning as it was an early start home and we couldn’t do it justice!

Our superior room was perfectly ok with a very comfy large bed, flat screen tv with BBC 1 and 2. Good bathroom with strong shower and all clean. Just a little dark as overlooking courtyard and low lighting.

Exceeded expectations. Very well staffed and clean property with many restaurant options. Perfect location with walking distance to everything. Would standardize to staying here everytime we visit Amsterdam

The bar area was nice and social with great service and well priced drinks.

The cleanliness in the hallways etc could be improved.

Always a lovely hotel, great location, very helpful front desk staff. The lobby bar manager was amazing and went above and beyond on my last night to make just the right drinks. Lovely clean rooms always in lovely condition, quiet location.

Went for breakfast one morning with my college, who was having the buffet, I was not planning to eat, but asked if could simply have a cup of hot water and a slice of lemon, but was told this was not possible, either not at all or I had to pay 45 euros for a cup of hot water, which I honestly thought was a joke, the young girl and the front counter was extremely unhelpful.

Unique layout. I had my own front door & key on a different canal.

The breakfast was good. Staff didn’t seem to know that British and Irish like cold milk in a jug with their tea

Great location and room was comfortable and well equipped.

Wish there is a locker room attached to the gym where a guest can change and take a quick shower before leaving the hotel (if the guest room cannot be extended).

Beautiful renovation of buildings, made the assembly of different types of buildings work. Great room view over canals and felt right in the heart of the city. Bars and restaurants were excellent quality and wonderful spaces to enjoy.

The volume of cruise passengers in reception probably took the edge off the boutique feel.

Perfect location right near city center, the canals, and De Wallen. The Pulitzer Bar is absolutely amazing. Rooms are very fashionable, in an "antique" kind of way.

Very expensive, but that reflects Amsterdam's hotel market in general. Rooms might not be to your taste if you are expecting something a bit more modern.

The location in the Nagen Straatjes neighborhood and right on Prinsengracht was fantastic. Central enough to be 5-10 minute walking distance to all main sights, yet removed from the craziness when one seeks a sanctuary. Their main garden and surrounding restaurant was such a beautiful spot to relax and recharge. Great rooms with all the luxuries one would expect from a 5-star hotel. We had two rooms, one of which was the top floor of a house so was charming with a vaulted roof ceiling bearing barn-style rafters and columns. The staff was extremely polite and always willing to help. Anything we asked for was delivered to the room within minutes (e.g., a standing fan for better circulation, a weighing scale to weigh our bags, extra blankets and towels, etc). This made our experience that much special. The hotel is just so stylish. Entering the lobby itself one perceives luxury and exquisite taste in each detail. This was the tail end of a long pan-Europe family trip and this hotel made the end of our trip very special.

We loved everything. If I had to nitpick, I would say the AC could be stronger. We happened to be in Amsterdam on some really hot days (one of the days got to 90F) and we felt the room wasn’t cooling effectively. But the standing fan we requested - and received - made up for that.

It is not the 5 star hotel level, tiny dark rooms,very loud air conditioning ( that it’s impossible to switch off and it’s problem at night), very busy and sometimes almost rude staff, breakfast quality awful.

Loved the bar and restaurant! All staff was super friendly and helpful.

My room didnt have a view which was okay but it was a little odd getting to my room I had to go through a maze of hallways and stairs to find it.

A very charming, beautifully decorated and professionally run hotel. The room was solidly built, elegantly designed, and very comfortable (good bed and pillows also).

One or two more electric outlets next to the beds would have been good.

The garden is exceptional

The rooms are extremely small, borderline unpleasant if you are staying as a couple more than two days.

The breakfast was very good and there was a nice selection. Our room was nice but not as good as I expected based on the price. The location of the hotel is great. The hotel boat ride was also very good. Overall, the property is very nice and the DS & Durga bath products were outstanding!

Our room was on the street level facing the canal and it was loud at times and we generally kept the curtains closed for privacy. The staff was fine but I honestly expected more from this hotel.

Perfect location, close enough to everything but it feels secluded away from the hustle and bustle of city center. Pleasant staff, great amenities and one of the most comfortable hotel beds we've ever had! Highly recommend

Charming property in a great location, big room (there were three of us), very quiet. Very comfortable beds. The staff was very kind and always helpful.

The air conditioning control panel wasn’t working properly and we kept fighting with it to switch it off without much success therefore it was a little bit too chilly at times (whenever we returned to the room actually)

We absolutely loved the Pullizer, fabulous location, helpful and welcoming staff and great food. 5* stay!

The location is excellent and clean. The staff was helpful. We had breakfast in room each day and it was excellent and the way to go as the breakfast they offer when you book is very expensive.

For a 5 star hotel the rooms are small. There were 3 of us in a room crammed together. Other than the breakfast we were not impressed with the other restaurants available in the hotel. The lobby is small and always very busy and noisy.

Room was not very functional or practical - looked good but limited space for unpacking and storing things

This unique space is full of eclectic art, furniture, and books. The staff went above and beyond with genuine smiles and care. I can't wait to return.

Service was outstanding. Facility was modern but also historic. Great location. Well maintained . Also gave us a room to freshen up when we got there since room wasn’t ready.

The hotel has amazing location just next to the canals and short walk to Dam square. Staff is very friendly. The hotel looks absolutely stunning with romantic courtyard. Breakfast was exceptional!

Excellent property and staff.

Food at the Garden was disappointing (but service was great). Soup was lukewarm, risotto was bland, pasta was bland too.
