Upgraded to a family room on arrival

Facilities were not open during our stay

We were upgraded to the main Rotana which was amazing. The breakfast was excellent, but we had to queue for a table, which was disappointing.

The breakfast (when we got a seat) was excellent. The kids club and staff were great for our 7-year-old.

Beautiful views and easy to walk to the beach/local shops, we swam in the pool a lot and it was wonderful. The staff were nice and helpful.

We had to pay extra to check in early even though our rooms were ready and I previously asked, it wasn’t cheap an extra $500AED, there was also a bit of construction going on and had to go over to the other hotel a lot.

It was located well and as per budget

Location

The restaurant and hotel amenities were under renovation and we had to walk over to the hotel for breakfast and to use the pool.

Their response was fast when I called to ask to bring my car to the front and also when I asked my room to be cleaned they also responded quickly. Valet employee are very nice and very polite. I’d like to thank them.

When we first arrived, we asked two times to change our room type, which was a downgrade, and they took 30 min to do our request. When we came into our room, the carpet smelled like socks and the bathroom “I’m sorry to say this” but it smelled like urine. It smelled like it was not cleaned. I had to ask to clean the room again. There is no windows to be open so I was stuck with the smell. After we stayed for one day, they told us that the lobby will be under construction, so the rest of our stay we had to go from the back door and the gym door to go out and in. Also, breakfast was not served at the same hotel. We had to go outside and walk across to the other hotel to go to the breakfast.

Comfy beds, location was fabulous

Bathroom was a little dated, a lot of noise for building maintenance on the floor

At 8:00 in the morning, I was disturbed in my sleep by many hammering sounds in the opposite room, but everything else was so good

Perfect option for a late arrival into AUH, 10 minutes from airport. Friendly, efficient staff, good breakfast. Decent gym. Pool a bit small but you can also use the pool at the Rotana next door. Good value in August, when it was the cheapest of the Yas hotels.

Rooms are quite compact but for the price, it's OK.

A bit old building, need some maintenance

The location is great. A short walk from Yas Bay and a scooter ride away from Yas Mall. The staff are friendly and helpful.

location was great, the beach access was also very near, and we used the pool in the adjacent hotel.

the room was damp, no fresh air or sunlight, the toilette was worn out and also damp , the room needs maintenance.

Comfortable beds, flexibility in changing rooms due to smell, and staff super friendly, especially Mr. Bashir and Mr. Mohamad.

Check-in time delayed almost 45 mn due to security approval cause some family members didn't physically have their passport but had a digital copy on the phone. This security took time, leaving small kids and baby tired

Although Check In staff were very helpful.and friendly they took a long time in checking us in Also theme park tickets were included in room rate and again it took ages for these to be issued

The location is very convenient to explore both Abu Dhabi (Ferrari world, Yas Mall, etc.) & Dubai. There are lots of public means of transportation to move around.

There is a construction site nearby which obstructs the view.

Rates for this hotel are on the rise. I could get this room for almost aed 200 less a year ago.

It's an older hotel. The reason it could be expensive is only due to location. With same room price, you'd get a better hotel outside of Yas.

Clean and comfortable rooms, good value for the price.

Sometimes they gave us tap water in some sealed bottles instead of drinking water.

Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Fast service. Delicious breakfast. Nice view. The hotel is only 10 minutes away by car from the airport with little to no traffic. Its also 20 mins away from the Etihad arena by walking.

Rooms are quite small, with a queen bed for two people. The AC circulation was poor - the cold air would only hit the side by the window and not the bed itself unfortunately so we woke up multiple times in the night sweating. The door locks are quite difficult to handle. The free toiletries were not found in the room before we checked in - we had to request for it.

Good customer service. Shout out to Catrine who was amazing during my visit alongside other members of staff.

the variety of the breakfast and taste was excellent. but the room is very small, especially we were in Dubai before coming to your hotel, we had a bigger room and cheaper price but 5 star hotel.

The room was perfect for my stay. I thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable bed. It gave me a very relaxing, good night's rest. The location of the hotel was perfect for the event I was attending, and it was accessible to all the amenities that I needed. I did not eat breakfast at the hotel, I preferred to eat outside the hotel because I wanted to sleep in.

The staff are all friendly. Great location. Clean room, exactly as it should be.

The breakfast was repetitive and not great. Got bitten loads while in this hotel, and as soon as we left, the bites healed and no more appeared in our new hotel. Could be from sand flies from the beach or round the pool. But with the thought of bedbugs, we won't be back. There are not enough plug sockets in the right places.

The food during breakfast was so good.

By the time we reach the restaurant, almost half of the foods were gone. It took some time before they refill it.

Breakfast was so delicious 😋 and overall staffs are helpful 👍🏻 hotel is sustainable that's make me feel so good and comfortable ☺️ we will definitely visit again back

Room let in a lot of sunlight, small bathroom

Everything was great and staff were super helpful and friendly.

The smell of the cups when i went for the open buffet smelled bad. I even changed my cup and the result was the same. Also when we were sleeping there was a lot of door slamming which didnt give us the most quiet sleep! But everything else was amazing!
