The hotel exceeded all expectations! Spacious and clean rooms, stunning beach views. Special thanks to manager Hagartarek for her incredibly attentive and caring approach — she was always ready to help and made our stay as comfortable as possible.

Honestly, everything was perfect. Even small issues were resolved very quickly, especially thanks to manager Hagartarek, who was always available and provided prompt assistance.

The Staff attitude and professionalism, how they care about all the details and work their best to make everything requested possible. The hotel itself is very beautiful and super clean.

I wish that they had more bars on the beach but I have been informed that it’s under renovation so, soon this will be not an issue.

This place hits different. From the jaw-dropping view of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque to the sleek, spacious rooms — everything feels effortlessly luxe. The food? Elite. Marco’s is romantic and rich with flavor, CuiScene brings global indulgence, and Café Sushi surprises in the best way. The infinity pool and private beach seal the deal — like a resort tucked into the city. Service? Flawless. Staff treat you like royalty without the stiffness. Final word: If you want five-star comfort with soul, Fairmont Bab Al Bahr delivers. No noise, no nonsense — just pure class.

However, one detail fell short: despite prior arrangements, the hotel was unable to provide an airport pickup. What was more surprising was the vague response and lack of accountability when I inquired. While not a dealbreaker, it felt out of sync with the otherwise flawless Fairmont experience.

The easy access to the swimming pool and beach are most welcome. The food is always great. We particularly liked the Fairmont Gold Lounge and appreciated the way the staff there helped and supported us.

The only thing that is a slight negative is that we were in a room which was a very long walk down the corridor from the beach and pool areas.

Everything. Wasn’t given the correct toe of room requested. Plus, there was a very strong and present smell of mould. When I spoke to them originally they denied it and sent me back into the same room for 15 mins so I can get used to the room but when I looked up at the ceiling there was so much mould. I felt like I was choking.

The property was stunning with a beautiful beachfront and well-maintained pool areas. The rooms were spacious, clean, and elegantly furnished. Staff were courteous and attentive, especially at check-in with Mr. Shiraz. Mazaj restaurant was amazing especially the service by Mr. Ahmed. The view of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque was a wonderful bonus.

I honestly can’t fault the hotel room — it completely lived up to my expectations. The space was generous, giving me plenty of room to relax and unwind. It came fully equipped with all the amenities I could possibly need. The entire room was spotless, which made a big difference in how at home I felt. You can tell that a lot of care goes into maintaining the space For those who are gym goers, Fairmont have a great gym, well equipped but take your own towel or you’ll be charged!

I paid extra for the breakfast and let me warn you now, that breakfast time is absolute chaos! The layout is poor, the service was horrendous. The tabes are too close to the food area and there was a staff shortage as they couldn’t fill the food or drinks for the demand. After being ignored to be seated I was ignored when I asked for the pancakes to be topped up, post that I had to chase a manager who finally got me a table and pancakes along with a drink. I have been travelling to the UAE to 20 years and this was the worst experience. I raised my concerns with the hotel manager who then offered me the option to have breakfast in the lounge - now that was the polar opposite of downstairs. The staff were polite, attentive and a joy to be around.

While the overall stay was pleasant, there were a couple of inconveniences worth mentioning. Firstly, the bathroom doors did not have locks, which made it difficult to manage with young children and limited privacy. Additionally, the car park does not have direct access to the hotel, you have to take a left and walk outside to reach the entrance. It’s not a long distance, but still not ideal, especially when carrying luggage or with kids in tow.

Although I only stayed for one night, it was a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing experience – exactly what I wanted. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I particularly enjoyed having a bathtub and the amazing view of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque from my room. The hotel's proximity to the malls was convenient, and the breakfast spread was fantastic. I also loved the general views, the opportunity for walks near the beach, and the inviting pool area. The hotel was impressively clean, and the staff were consistently attentive. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return. This looks like a great place for a family to stay.

We booked the Fairmont King Room with Creek View — the room was beautiful, with a lovely bathroom and great views over the creek and the pool/beach area. The beach and pool areas are nice, though the sea (creek) is a bit murky with a muddy bottom. Overall, a peaceful place to relax. However, for the price, the service didn’t meet expectations. Check-in staff were quite cold and lacked a guest-focused approach. The breakfast area was sometimes chaotic, and the outdoor seating section looked tired and wasn’t very clean. Thankfully, one lady at reception from Kenya left us with a very warm and professional final impression during check-out — much appreciated. I want to take a moment to sincerely appreciate the outstanding hospitality we received at Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, Abu Dhabi. We arrived early around 9:00 AM—well before the official check-in time of 3:00 PM—and were warmly welcomed by Elisha, who kindly accommodated us with a place to rest until the first room became available, despite the hotel being fully booked. That gesture set the tone for the rest of our stay. Throughout our four-night visit, the concierge and all hotel staff were incredibly professional, welcoming, and attentive. The hotel’s location is perfect, offering breathtaking views of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque right from the beach-facing rooms. The hotel also offers a wide range of amenities: delicious cuisines, kid-friendly restaurants and play areas, an in-house salon and barber, and much more—all of which made our stay even more enjoyable and convenient. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Such a beautiful hotel with amazing views and facilities. Service was excellent. Me and my family had such a good time! Lorenzo at the front desk went out of his way to make our stay even better. I highly recommend this hotel.
