Design, Location, overall atmosphere. And the gym

No synthetic bedding and the breakfast is totally not worth the money. When I went there 1 hour before „closing“ only leftovers and empty plates were presented. 25 Euro? Way to expensive.

We loved the features such as the interior design and all the bars. The roof top bar was amazing! The staff were all super polite and offered to make us creative and tasty cocktails!

The rooms were warm. We weren’t sure the air con was working for us.

No window/ fresh air in sleeping room. That made me a bit claustrofobic.

Hotel was quite nice, the staff was nice and helpful. Their garden is quite an experience to have your coffee in there. Location to the Gare du Nord is very accessible.

Rooftop restaurant was not open

Good for solo travel. Easy transport connections, short walk from a major train station. Kind and helpful staff, high spec room, cafe, bar and amenities. It felt like a premium experience. The view from my room was pleasing.

Other Standard hotels tend to hand events on at the place, I'd love to dip into a DJ set or a talk in the cafe.

The interior was stunning, the bed was a dream and the facilites top tier. Restaurant and bars on site were amazing in their own right. Staff were incredible and nothing was too much to ask. I would highly recommend.

The breakfast option were a little limited.

The front staff at the reception were not friendly, and I had to call the waiters a few times at the restaurant at the rooftop to get theri attention.

I hadn't been to Brussels for decades, I know it has changed a lot, hearing all kind of news and I was unsure what to expect. In addition the hotels prices have gone up radically. Booking The Standard hotel I had mixed feelings and I'd say it massively exceeded my expectations. Fantastic design - simply loved it, everything, every detail was thoroughly thought of, amazing view, clean, quiet, no noise from the other rooms, fab room breakfast, stunning view from the bar on the top, great gym. Also the location was fab, a couple of min walking to the Northern train station, 15-20 min in total to the EU parliament. 15-min walk to the Brussels old town. A great balance value-money. Definitely would stay here again, if I come soon to brussels .

Gym was fab, just please locate the treadmills to a place with a view. Watching the wall for an hour while running 10 km is a bit depressing :-) That's my only recommendation.

Lovely stay from start to finish. The staff were genuinely welcoming and attentive without being overbearing, and check-in was smooth and efficient. The room was spotless, well presented, and very comfortable – especially the bed, which made it easy to relax after a long day.

The location was ideal, with everything we needed within easy reach, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt calm and well looked after. Breakfast was fresh and had a good variety, setting us up nicely for the day.

Would happily stay here again and would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-run hotel.

Absolutely love the size of the room and the hotel itself, I requested a high room with at view and I got just that.

Unfortunately the staff was of a varied quality, the evening bar staff was rude and arrogant (seemed to have a drugs problem), other staff did their best. I was not consistent and there was a constant wait at reception as there was only one on duty most times. The customer relations officer was excellent.

The hotel staff were amazing! All super friendly and helpful. Refilled our water bottles each morning and helped us to find the quickest routes to the attractions. Really great hotel!

The only thing superceding the high quality of the room, the breakfast buffet and the rooftop bar is the friendly and professional way in which the staff treats you like a deasr guest and friend, i highly recommend

A minor issue was the coffee in the room, and the hotel made sure to note "Nespresso machine" in my personal file, so a minor issue is turned into a big plus!

New stylish hotel close to Gare du Nord station in the redeveloped modern business district. Very handy location when traveling for work and a short 5 minute walk to Rogier metro station and the shopping area around there. Friendly and helpful staff. The room was comfortable, nicely decorated and spacious with spectacular views (from the upper floors). There is also a small but well-equipped fitness room. Overall this hotel is a great new option for the area.

As others have pointed out, some odors from the bathroom plumbing, so this still seems to be an issue in some rooms. And again, as others have pointed out, there is a €100 deposit (or at least a card authorization) made on arrival, which seems rather unnecessary.

The decor is lovely, very modern and clean. Location is good, everything is about a 10-20 mins walking distance.

Amenities in room such as tea and coffee could have been replaced daily.

Working area in Brussels. If you need to be there it is a top hotel
