More photosTucked away in a quiet townhouse just off Brussels’ upscale Avenue Louise, the Zoom Hotel is a boutique spot that cleverly blends early 20th-century architecture with an industrial aesthetic. Completely reimagined in 2014, the building’s classic Belgian facade hides a creative interior crafted by renowned Belgian designer Michel Penneman.
Penneman designed the entire property around the art of photography. To evoke the mood of a traditional photographic darkroom, the hotel features striking dark matte gray walls, sharp black-and-white contrasts, and industrial piping details.
The hotel’s unique theme is highly interactive. Rather than standard decor, every one of the 37 rooms displays a unique print of Brussels captured by a local Belgian artist. The communal areas double as a gallery, featuring a collaborative photo wall, vintage cameras, and a classic photo booth where travelers can snap a souvenir.
Adding a final touch of local flavor, the ground floor hosts the Beer House bar. Instead of typical hotel amenities, the space features repurposed wooden theater seats and serves a curated selection of exceptional local craft beers and Belgian chocolates.

Stylish and friendly
Spacious room. Love the decor. All the staff are very friendly.

A beautiful boutique hotel
We liked how spacious the rooms were, staff were kind, bar downstairs was very chill.
The squeaky floors and no room ventilation. Smelled like fabric and we had stuffy noses through our stay.

It did the job and would recommend it providing you don't think its central.
Lovely hotel, beautiful rooms with some shops and different eateries a short walk away day and night. Staff very friendly and helpful and it was clean all around. Its perfect for getting to the Exhibition Centre via Metro.
Wasn't as central as we thought and breakfast was not value for money at 20 euros so we got a coffee and croissant from the bakery down the road.

Nice cool place
Nice place, clean and comfortable. Loved that they had free coffee – a great touch! Overall, a good stay.
Good location, but the room had a noticeable smell and cleanliness could be improved. The window lock was broken, preventing any ventilation. Fixing the lock and a deeper clean would make a big difference.

Centrally located hotel!
Centrally located hotel! The staff were friendly and helpful. Great for a short stay, as it close to the centre and the station.

Comfortable hotel for a city break in Brussels
Great location, comfortable bed and large airy bathroom.
Room was very hot and the a/c wouldn’t operate. I was told it was because the outside temperature was below a certain level. Advised to keep windows open which meant a certain level of street noise. Small niggle on an otherwise good visit.

Great overnight stay
All staff were very helpful and we felt very comfortable and welcomed in this hotel.
We stayed one night so didn't have much chance to explore just how much is around the hotel but it was a short walk from some bars and restaurants. You can buy drinks at the hotel bar at a very reasonable price and take it to your room if you wish.
