The Dante House, Naples

The breakfast was amazing.

Starting breakfast earlier at 7AM would be great.

Comfortable rooms and welcoming staff. Good location to explore the old towns and shopping districts. Interiors were done well, updated with new appliances and finishes, yet still holds the classic neapolitan house look.

The lift had a mind if it’s own.

The rooms are lovely and the location very central with a metro station outside fo easily linking all parts of the city. The breakfast was lovely with a broad range of options. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.

We have stayed here a few times and the first time it was a little unclear where to go, they provide a set of instructions of how to enter.find the building which are helpful however, lack clarity at times. Particularly when you are arriving late at night.

The location of the hotel is great. Near old city on one side and right next to the via Toledo on the other side. Metro station is few meters away, plenty of bars and restaurants... and yet, not noisy since our room was facing the inner courtyard. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Considering this is a small hotel, there was plenty of choice for breakfast, which was very tasty. The staff is friendly, kind and helpful. Thank you Theresa (I hope I remembered the correct name) for all the advice. You were excellent. :)

Our room's elegant painted ceiling and the people-watching opportunities from the tall windows overlooking Dante Square. Just turn left as you come out of the house and you are in the historic decumani

Great location on a busy square but lots of interesting side streets and little squares to explore. Central and easy to get there/around. Big comfortable room in historic building tastefully decorated.

They gave us great recommendations and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. And then, there’s the cocktails. Wow! There’s a cozy little bar just around the corner where we enjoyed some of the best cocktails we’ve ever had. The fact that we got a discount there was just the icing on the cake! 💕💕 We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are already looking forward to our next trip back. Beautiful rooms and property, nothing was too much trouble for staff, breakfast really good and authentic to Italy. Great location, we had a room facing onto Square so lots to look at and no noise as windows etc are very solid. Lovely place to stay, near to plenty of bus stops and bars/restaraunts easy to get to.

Unnecessarily unpleasant attitude around breakfast before 8am - I flagged before arriving that we'd need to take off early for ferrys/day trips and the hotel was supposed to prep sandwiches for us. Not only they didn't, but the lady setting breakfast in the morning was weirdly protective over food and frankly unpleasant to my senior parents who cannot take their morning medication on an empty stomach. The lady eventually let us take some stuff to eat, but we could feel the tension and judgment. So uncalled for, it would litterally have cost nothing (financially and logistically) to set some food aside for us, to have early in our room or to go, and we would have been content. For the future, maybe the hotel can implement a simple to-go box system, as most top-rated hotels offer (esp. from around 200euros/night). We stayed 5 nights and for the last 2 we had breakfast after 8am, the breakfast lady was perfectly nice then. Other attention points: lift in the building costs 20cents/ride (hotel is in 1st floor with 3 sets of stairs), deluxe room is in mezzanine with sweaky floor upstairs and bathroom downstairs, small bed rather unconfortable and bouncy

Only hitch was tiny & ancient elevator requiring Euros to transport baggage from ground floor up to entrance of Dante House.

A stunning property with very interesting interior design. Location is in the thick of things but feels like a calm oasis once you enter Dante House. The staff are all lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

The location is right in the middle of Napoli, the staff were friendly, attentive, stylish, whole place is modern, clean, tidy, uncluttered… we LOVED our room, had a mezzanine with 2 twin beds for sis and I, a balcony, the shower was amazing, the actual building so historical… just great all around.

Perfect location to explore the back streets and walk ways of the old city and live the culture. Convenient for a lot of attractions and all tours did pick up from Dante Square. The room was amazing and to a high spec. We stayed in room #6 which is positioned in the corner with view over the street and square. Can be a bit noisy at night but we did not mind that. Finally the staff are amazing, friendly and very helpful. A great relaxed hotel that felt like home.

The staff were super friendly and cooperative and very nice peoples… They available at WhatsApp. In the first day we saw that there is no fridge at the room, we asked for one, and they give us to the room in minutes… The hotel location is at piazza Dante, really central place, near to metro line 1 and very easy to get from there to any place. We recommend this place!

The room was very spacious and was comfortable and clean. The staff are so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The location is ideal for exoring the city but is still wquiet even though you are right on the square. We will definitely go back.

Dante House is in the old town exactly where you want to be to have easy walking to the top places to visit in Napoli. The metro is a 2 minute walk, which takes you to Garibaldi station and trains to Pompeii. The property is excellent: a spacious room with a comfy bed, soft towels, great shower, fantastic continental breakfast with so much choice, staff who are so happy to help with anything, and quiet. We could use the dining area whenever we wanted and free coffee and tea was available, an honesty box was also there if you wanted soft drinks or wine/prosecco.
