The ever 😊 smiling Alainis on reception was an absolute delight always cheerful she made us feel very comfortable. 6 stars!, the superior room was lovely as was the breakfast each morning a great selection, the ambience and decor superb. Overall highly recommended would stay again for sure.

The pool is really just a plunge pool to cool off.

Very nice boutique hotel in Santiago not far from the funicular and park and close to a plaza with nice restaurants. Very comfortable room and very friendly and extremely helpful staff . Was a great place for a very quiet stay at the end of a long cruise holiday before the flight home . Good breakfast plenty to choose from .

The staff were super friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, the bar and restaurant were fabulous, the views from the rooftop bar were fabulous and it was so nice to have that outdoor space to relax in. The location was perfect as it's very central and we have friends close. The style and history of the building was so cool, the rooms were clean, stylish and had everything we needed, including very comfortable beds and good showers, our and my mum's rooms being next to each other and with no other rooms close made her feel very safe. Having a lift was essential as we had far too much luggage and my mum couldn't do all the stairs.

The only thing I thought could be better was the lighting in the rooms. There was no bright overhead light in either room and as poor sighted oldies it made re packing our far too many bags at night and reading things if not in bed a little difficult. But that's a small complaint for a fabulous hotel.

The location of the hotel is excellent, about a 10 minute walk away from the main tourist attractions of Lastarria neighborhood. The staff was very helpful and polite. The included breakfast was very rich in options. The rooftop pool and lounging chairs were very comfortable. The rooftop bar was very reasonably priced and had good drinks. The bathroom was excellent: clean and high pressure to the water. The hotel was also decorated in a very special way with skylights that would show the long lamps that hang down to the bottom floor. We would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is a beautifully restored listed art deco masterpiece. One of the best locations to explore Santiago . The roof bar and pool is epic with stunning sunset views . Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff .

No kettle in room

The employees were so nice. The hotel is very well decorated. It is in the middle of downtown, so during the day it’s lovely to walk around. At night we were told to use Uber.

You have to pay extra for early checkin even if your room is ready. This hotel is the same price as some of the bigger 5 star hotel chains, but they have very strict policies on early checkin which I didn’t love. The walls are also quite thin.

Quirky hotel with nice rooms

Great little boutique hotel well positioned for walking to so many places of interest.Really lovely breakfast and we loved the upstairs bar area with splash pool and fabulous sunset views from the stylish space. Rooms really comfortable and quiet. would definitely stay again (have been twice now). We organised a private driver to take us to one of the wineries about 45 mins drive - Santa Rita winery was wonderful for a half day trip and we thoroughly recommend this as a nice option if you want to be a little closer to the beautiful Andes mountains and see the countryside and enjoy some great wines in a historic location.

Comfortable hotel close to plenty tourist hotshots. Very friendly staff, and very enjoyable rooftop terrace. Breakfast was also varied with plenty of options. The double beds were huge.

The property was in a good location with a 5 minute walk to the plaza for restaurants and bars. The hotel was very clean and safe went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. The rooftop bar was awesome! Plenty of tables, pool, bar, and super clean. Absolutely would stay here again.

Could be amazing but lacking in some areas. Simple things like hanging the curtains properly on the hooks so the room looks smarter would be a start. Our superior room was small but appreciate that it is a historic gem. Love the original interior tiles and art deco design features. Felt the roof bar was lacking and breakfast could be better.

It’s absolutely charming and the staff were so very helpful. Including arranging a transfer from the airport and an onward transport to the port to join a cruise ship. The hotel is full of personality and is just absolutely delightful The food in the restaurant was exceptionally good and so was the breakfast

Although we had asked for an early check-in which was subject to provide ability, we had to wait for a room to be made available. If I had known that was going to be the case I would have booked the night before to guarantee early check-in on arrival. That would’ve been very cost-effective because the hotel is not particularly expensive

Beautiful art deco building in a great location close to Lastarria and Cerro Santa Lucia. Great views from the rooftop. Loved the water and chocolates supplied when we arrived and the bed was very comfortable and great for sleeping as dark in the rooms.

Shower sprays water on to the floors and it is very hard to avoid. Towels were very thin. Breakfast pastries were dry and old.

Well positioned in the city. Close to the bohemian quarter and easy walking distance to the funicular and cable car attraction . Staff were helpful on requests . Roof top bar had relaxed and safe vibe at night for easy supper if wanting to eat in .

The hotel entrance area is a little tired to say the least. Coffee at breakfast could be improved for todays standards of a reasonable cup of coffee .

The location is good.. it’s about a 8-10 min walk to cute restaurants and shops in Lastarria area. The room was small but comfortable and had everything we needed. Very lovely decor in the rooms. The breakfast was the best we had in 2 weeks!

I think the photos of this place make it look a lot nicer than it is… the first thing I noticed was that the beautiful tiled floors and walls did not seem clean anywhere in the hotel, which made everything feel slightly dirty. The rooftop bar area also felt a little dingy, dirty and hot when we went at 4pm, maybe it’s better seeing it in the nighttime!

We had a fantastic stay over NY, the rooftop bar is a great place to hang out and we loved the old fashioned gated lift. Food and cocktails were delicious, all staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

It's probably worth paying the additional rate for a room with a street view as ours was internal and we missed having natural light in the room.

They had agreed to an early check in when I booked months ago; they did not have the room ready at agreed upon time (1:00). So we had to wait to the regular check in time of 3:00. Supposedly they upgraded to a "larger room"...but it was very small so I cannot imagine it being a true upgrade what we got.

reception was really helpful and knowledgeable, including providing a city map and information on public transport. We were given metro cards free of charge which we only needed to top up with the travel credit we required. The hotel itself is conveniently located to the metro network and even the airport is easily reachable by public transport (combination of metro + airport bus). - the hotel is in Lastarria neighbourhood where there are good dining options and evening animation. Also the historic centre and other places are within easy reach walking / by taxi or public transport - there is a 24/7 kiosk shop nearby and I liked the fresh fruit juices you could buy around the corner - the hotel had a very personal touch as it was a boutique hotel with only a few rooms - the nostalgic central elevator and the whole building was pure Art Nouveau so it felt like living in a museum making my stay very special. In fact the hotel building is a national monument designed by the famous 20th century Chilean Polish architect Luciano Kulczewski. For those interested, you can find a few more of his signature buildings nearby. - I loved the big bathroom and the comfy beds in the stylish hotel room - the breakfast choice was wide and plentiful so everybody should find something to his/her taste - the rooftop terrace which during the day served as bar/restaurant was amazing and boasted a good panorama view. Also there was a small swimming pool on it.

there was no water kettle in the room to boil water for tea but the reception helped me out with hot water anytime I asked for it. So my problem got solved and other than that no issues at all, all about my stay was excellent

The location was perfect, near to all the attractions and cool bars. It was also near Bellavista with lots of restaurants and the funicular.

The hotel building itself was a beautiful and the room Was very spacious and well decorated.

One of the us had their phone stolen outside the hotel and it would have been beneficial to warn guests that phone thefts were common in the area. It was only once it was stolen then staff unhelpfully said “we do not recommend standing outside for a taxi”. It would have been helpful to know this when arriving and also given the roadworks right outside they shoiuld be asking guests to take precautions. The day after I saw another set of guests standing in the same spot with their phone. Losing a phone is an extremely stressful Experience whilst on holiday and we felt the staff were not supportive or helpful in trying to support us through the experience.

Breakfast was good, nice assortment. Hotel staff were great, even with a slight language barrier, as my Spanish is not very good. They were eager to please, and always had a smile on their face :)

Pool is tiny!

Location was fantastic. Staff absolutely amazing. Super helpful, all spoke excellent English.Room size was great. We had a huge bathroom.

I would recommend upgrading the linen, particularly the towels as they were a little worn and mismatched.
