Additional facilities like laundry room, kitchen area and to lounge make this ‘budget’ accommodation top notch. Discounts on meals in adjacent restaurants meant a good breakfast was first choice locally

Great location, easy walk from the train station. Staff are very friendly and very helpful. The restaurant underneath is a massive plus!!!

The rooms at the front of the building are pretty loud due to the trams. Especially when one of the windows wouldn't close properly. The shared fridge should be checked daily, it was full of smelly food which ppl have obviously left behind

Perfect location near the center and central station, comfortable room and good vallue for money.

Great location. Close to restaurants, sightseeing and main train station. Quiet room as well which was good. Check in and out the easiest and most straight fwd I have had.

Pillows weren’t great and curtains let a lot of light in which wasn’t ideal with a baby (recommend taking a blackout blind with you). We were on a high floor but noise of trams sometimes kept us awake. Had a white noise machine with us for baby again. Staff were helpful and nice but didn’t feel very approachable.

We had a quiet room. Clean. Comfortable. Would stay here again as it is centrally located & compared to other accommodation much lower in price.

Communal fridge. No fridge in room. But on departure went to collect our bag of food. Was gone. Had followed instructions re putting departure date. Room no. Office girl agreed it was stolen. Though there is a note indicating such. And City Box not responsible. Which is fair enough.

While this is a no frills kind of place, everything worked, from automatic check in to luggage storage, communal kitchen etc. The staff on site was really helpful and always at hand, so while a 'no contact' stay would be possible, humans definitely make the place what it is. Very close to central station, so very practical.

The property is right on the tram route and they run late and start early, so ear plugs advised for light sleepers.

Perfect location, one block from train station, few minutes walk from Opera House, pretty much all sights within walking distance. Bright modern decor, immaculately clean. You can borrow a kettle for your room. You can store luggage before checkin and after checkout.

My single room was tiny with VERY tiny bed. The so-called "kitchen" is only one kettle, one toaster, one microwave and one fridge for the whole hotel and no utensils except paper cups and plates.

Great stay, Check-in by machine only (no live person) However there check-in machine was straight forward and with great English. Great Wifi, great hot water. Elevator. Nice new clean room. Large full bed. A few blocks from the train station. Walkable to most historic city sites. Very quiet room on the 6 th floor.

We were only going to be in Oslo for one night, and we’re leaving by train early the next morning we wanted to be close to the train station and chose a place that did not include breakfast as we were leaving too early to be able to have breakfast at the hotel. It was our first time staying at a citybox. Citybox does a great job of providing quite a lot of services and was perfect for our one night day if we had been staying longer, I would’ve preferred to be somewhere that included breakfast, but for this one night it worked out perfectly.

This is a convenient hotel with excellent location - just steps away from the Central Station and from all major city attractions. There are adjacent restaurants where you can have breakfast and lunch/dinner. There's smooth and straight forward self-checking. Rooms are fine.

It smelled of cats in my room. I'm a cat owner, so I know the smell when one misses the litter box. Otherwise the rooms was okay, maybe I was a bit unlucky as this is completely pet friendly hotel.

Not really an issue. But our room faced closely onto several other rooms around a court yard. Necessitated having to close curtains.

Set in a very smart area of central Oslo,the hotel was clean,with plenty of amenities and friendly staff. There's a restaurant downstairs that sells lots of tasty treats. The area around the hotel is also close to lots of bars and restaurants.

Very closed to the tram, the tram is just a few steps from the hotel. Self-check in, very simple and convenient.

CityBox Oslo was a well located clean hotel with helpful, friendly staff. Check-in was really easy - the ability to access the luggage store before/after room check-in/out was really useful. The kitchen facilities - particularly the fridge was very helpful.

Nice hotel for a reasonable price, very close to the train station and the city center. The restaurant nearby offers tasty traditional food for a very reasonable price.

Noise from the street 24/7 won't let you sleep, even with closed windows, due to narrow streets and high traffic.

Shower!! Single door caused water to spray/splash everywhere in the ensuite! Hose was clogged to with water flowing of target! Annoying

Good value budget hotel right in the heart of Oslo. Super easy to access from the central train station, and to either walk around the central area (5min to the Opera House) or take a bus or tram to some of the outer neighbourhoods (would recommend Grünerløkka for a younger crowd). Rooms were modern, clean, and simple. As with all Citybox hotels, the self-check in process is the easiest and most user friendly I've seen in Europe.

The location is great. We checked in and checked out without any problems.

The only downside is that the rooms are not cleaned every day. If you want cleaning, a fee is requested, but I don't know the cost.

Good value for the price. Clean and comfortable.
