Convenient location near Oslo Central station. Nice, clean room and comfortable bed.

Staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. Good location, easy to get to many of the sites and the station.

The washroom was a bit small. It would be nice to add a rack in the shower so you can put your shampoo and stuff inside without having to reach out all the time. Not sure if there was temperature control in the room but if there was, I couldn't find it.

Tiny room

A very simple but expensive hotel near Oslo Sentralstation. Near the main attractions and the famous Karl Johanns Street. Many food shops, cafes and restaurants near the hotel.

No tv on the room.

The Location was great of the hotel was great. Located in the central shopping area it offers quick access to Karl Johans Gate, the cruise port and the train station. The check-in was fast and simple and they offered free bag storage, although it was unsupervised.

While the room was large and comfortable, it needed more thought into how it would be used. There was a tiny sink in the bathroom with no shelf space for toiletries. There was also no storage for bags and unpacking.

The location was perfect. The shared kitchen has everything you might need like cups plates forks etc. the luggage storage is a plus

Very central position, clean, comfortable bed. Communal kitchen cleaned regularly.

Hostell was in the city center and the room was very welcoming. Self check in and check out was very easy. Overall we had a very nice stay

The location is very close to the main railway station. I also like the fast Check-in and check-out.

The heavy slide door in the double room... The room was also dirty (stained floor, stained table, stained curtains... No stains on the bed though! :) ) and the shower door was damaged. The ceeling in bathroom also needs renovation. I stayed in Oslo on my arrival day in single room, departure day in double room and in Bergen in single room. Though still not perfect, Bergen Citybox (the one that is not in the city centre) was way better.

I wish there were a kettle in the room.

Convenient location to walk and explore Oslo city. Bags storage was available as we arrived early from airport. Self check in and out was easy

Best Location, Room size is a little small and needs basic things, coffee/tea, and a water heater, otherwise everything was perfect, including the cleanliness

Facilities! Very well equipped, having a laundromat too! Very modern and nice!

Only 1 out of 3 washing machines are working. Clothes still moist after 1 hour. Might want to grant 1.5 hours or 2 hours option so need not stay behind to wait for drying to end and start another round. Good to update the opening hours at Laundromat as it is stated as 9 am to 9 pm but actually 24/7. Tried to rush to wash and dry finish before 9 pm but actually not required.

Bathroom trash bin was not cleaned out. Shower got the whole bathroom floor wet.

I stayed at Citybox Oslo and overall had a very good experience. The location is excellent—just a couple of minutes’ walk from the central train station, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions nearby. The hotel itself was clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable, which made my stay even better. The staff was very friendly and attentive; they promptly assisted me when I requested a room exchange. My first room (Tower A, Room 502) was unfortunately quite noisy due to trams, street conversations, and music. The hotel was fully booked that night, but they provided earplugs to help me rest. The next day I was relocated to Tower B, Room 702. This room was much quieter, which I appreciated, though it was smaller than the first one, especially the shower. Despite this minor trade-off, I enjoyed my stay. Thanks to the helpful staff, clean environment, comfortable bed, and unbeatable location, I would recommend Citybox Oslo to anyone visiting the city.

Room in Tower A was unfortunately quite noisy. Sounds from outside carried into the room, which made it difficult to rest comfortably.a

Top Location . Tram stop right in front, 5 minute walk to Central Station & many bus stops. Able to walk everywhere, big wall buttons on wall good for hanging backpack and handbag and dry towel.

I have a single room, enough rooms to move around. Lacking a bench to park my suitcase. I park it on the narrow desk which is not ideal.

Bath room was very nice with nice hot water.

Room was quite small with no where to put my luggage.

Floor had a kind of matting instead of carpet. Room had tatty decor. Room door had to be locked with card on way out as it didn't lock automatically. No TV - admittedly it's not listed on website but who doesn't have a TV?

Access to luggage storage before/after room available was nice.

Slightly unure of the checkin process with it being mostly automated, but we figured it out.

Room was small and hotel was on busy street and very loud. We had to keep windows open as it was warm and their is no air con.

I liked the location, cleanliness of the room and effective, easy and quick check-in process.

It is more suggestion then critique: there should be one glass in each room, some people need to drink their medicines with the glass of water.

Didn't see any staff at all. A bit noisy at night due to trams we could hear them as they passed during the night n early morning

Environment , how easy was to check in and out, easy storage and safe room

The room wasn't huge but it was more than enough for a sole traveler. The shower was also more spacious than I expected. No frills but it was clean and had a great location. Wasn't disturbed by any noise either. It was also more reasonably priced compared to the rest of Oslo.

The only complaint that I have is that when I arrived my room door was wide open. This happened before I even entered for the first time and never when I left stuff in my room but it still didn't seem too safe as anyone could have come in.

City Box has a great location, a few hundred meters from the Central Station. Checkin is digital on kiosk and that worked well, you get a key from the machine. There is a big communal kitchen with microwaves, kettle and vending machines, useful when trying to travel on budget. it has the feel of a hostel but smarter. the single room was tiny but for one night it was fine. there is no breakfast in the hotel but there are 2 restaurants linked to the hotel that offer 10% discounts for hotel guests.

i think the place could do with a better cleaning, the corridors didn't feel so neat same with my bathroom. it's a good concept to have checkin kiosk, but it's also very nice to have real staff welcoming their guests.

It took 10 days, including a couple of long telephone calls, to modify my booking during the free cancellation period. First, they asked for a cancellation fee or asked me to cancel it and book again ( by the time the price was double as the date was closer), It was a really stressful 10 days and a waste of a lot of time.

Location was perfect and convenient for everything we wanted to do. There were lots of bars, restaurants and bakeries close by too. The beds were comfy and the room was generally a good size for us. Self check-in/out was quick and easy and when we asked for extra towels this was done quickly and without any issues.

The shower was a little mouldy.

Nice hotel with great location. Good breakfast/lunch options in the restaurants situated in the same building. There is also a shared kitchen on the 1st floor with coffee/tea facilities and microwave. Basic but comfy and clean rooms.

We booked 2 rooms, travelling with 2 teens. We've got rooms on different floors and even in different parts of the hotel (the hotel is divided in A, B, C parts with even different elevators to get to your floor/room). I asked staff to provide rooms more close to each other, but there was no such possibility at that moment. Staff could be more attentive to such details in future, really it's more logic to accomodate family with children closer to each other. Such simple logic doesn't require any special customer's request :)

Good location and not far from the train station. Pretty clean and comfy. A lot of space to prepare all stuff.

Fast (automated) check-in and checkout. Easy to use and follow. Very clean and comfortable. Very close to Oslo's central train station, where trains take you in+out of Oslo's airport, and where you can also rent cars. Also very close to the iconic Oslo Opera.

Automated check-ins are typically annoying, but this one had very few steps, very large (really large) touch screens to navigate the check-in, and check-in was completed very quickly. It was also very simple to get as many keys as we wanted to the room. So it's a mixed bag: bad because it's automated, but when comparing to other automated check-ins this one actually worked very well.
