The Westin, Valencia

Immaculate service provided by the staff from the front desk to the restaurant to housekeeping. It was nice to return to the hotel’s courtyard every afternoon to relax and enjoy tea. The location is within walking distance to the city centre and old town which makes it accessible to major attractions without being too crowded and noisy.

Excellent all around

First of all, staying in a Westin is an experience. The bathroom is nearly the size of the bedroom, and the bedroom is large. There is a walk-in shower, a separate toilet, a tub and an enormous space with mirrors and sink. The art deco interior design of the hotel is just gorgeous. The king-size bed is like a giant raft that takes you off to sleep. The people working there are super helpful and the building and the grounds (especially the interior courtyard) are extraordinary. We also found it conveniently located in terms of the old city around where we spent much of our time.

It’s an oasis in a busy and hot (when we visited) city.

Only tiny things: low pressure in the shower, though lots of water from the rainfall shower head. I would have expected some body lotion to be in the room but there was a card saying to ask for anything you were missing, so not a complaint.

We stayed for 17 nights in a King Room with one additional bed. The room was spacious even wit the additionally added bed. The rest room was in a separate space. The breakfast was very good - delicious and with a lot of variety! The restaurant that we had a lot of dinners in was very good - both food and especially the service!!!

Lobby, all the premises, room were very nice! Breakfasts are delicious. However the feature of this hotel is its inner yard. It's soooo spacious and cozy! Like an oasis. You forget that you are in a city! Everything is green, fountains all around. Comfy sofas. We walked to the city center and to the Science Museum - it's about 30 minutes through the nice park with palms and parrots :)

The view from our room was not very attractive, I think it's better to have an inner yard view. Service at breakfast could be better.

Excellent property and good location. Very spacious room and amazing staff, in particular Alosso from the Concierge desk. Super helpful and charming.

Our balcony was a concrete space with one metal table and 2 chairs. No plants, sun beds or indeed view. Needs some love and attention. Only one restaurant was open all week, limited menu but good food.

Superb staff and location. The hotel is really nice, especially the renovated areas. Our room was very spacious but a little bit old in style and furniture. Would stay here without any question. As a big plus, breakfast was marvelous!

Sometimes we had to wait to be seated at breakfast. They tried to help me with some flowers for Mother's day, but it ultimately did not work out. Be prepared the pool is only available for kids in specific hours.

Peaceful garden setting the room was huge and the indoor pool a perfect temperature. Staff went out of their way to help us.

Very large room with a stunning bathroom. The meal in the restaurant was gorgeous and the cocktails very tasty. The hotel is well maintained and staff friendly.

ROOM WAS EXCELLENT SIZE AND VERY COMFORTABLE. BAR AREA WAS VERY INVITING AND VERY WELL DECORATED. OUTSIDE TERRACE FOR LUNCH WAS PERFECT. WAITING STAFF WERE VERY POLITE AND COUJLD NOT DO ENOUGH FOR US. ENTRANCE LOBBY WAS BEAUTIFUL AND INVITING WITH AN AMAZING DISPLAY OF WHITE ORCHIDS. THE INTERIOR DESIGN FOR THIS HOTEL IS EXCELLENT AND OF VERY HIGH STANDARD

A surprisingly spacious room (very much appreciated by us) Nice parking space under the hotel Great location, just next to the Pasea de la Alameda and (once crossed that) the old city. Very helpful and friendly staff Valencia is s great town to explore by bike (lots of cycling paths)

Lighting plan in the bar and lounge probably meant to be atmospheric but we experienced it as gloomy (so too dark)

We had a lovely few days here. The suite we had was fab. A huge bed! We treated ourselves to dinner room service a couple of times and the food was excellent. Good location and a couple of nice cafes nearby. Would definitely recommend staying here.

My son lost his Nintendo game somewhere on our trip back I wrote to the hotel - just to confirm that it was not forgotten in the room. Wrote several times, called on the phone - they answered on the phone that have my e-mails and that are checking and will send me answer / call me. Never did it🤷‍♀️ Not normal for a 5 star hotel not to be able to confirm if you have forgotten anything in your room….or not.
