The Westin, Valencia

Very helpful staff, the atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly. The evening bars were wonderful, both intimate also good fun with a range of musicians and singers to enjoy.

Room was very comfortable and quiet. Location was excellent - only a short walk to the city centre, close to Metro and local bus services and minutes from the very cleverly designed and attractive Turia gardens with its walkways, cycling paths and sporting facilities. The swimming pool and well equipped gym was a real bonus.

The only downside on two mornings was a loud and large tour group at breakfast. I will resist naming the country of origin but the clue is in ‘loud’.

I had to pay extra for breakfast but I had it even though I only ate a bowl of bircher muesli, It was very good muesli .

Very spacious and light room with supersize bed. Separate bath and walk in shower. Excellent buffet breakfast in spacious restaurant. Beautiful indoor swimming pool in the spa. Lovely central gardens.

The housekeeping could have been a little better as the shower products and tea and coffee were not replaced each day.

Hôtel you should visite for sure !

All the staff very professional attentive especially receptionist Vashy, Paulo, caring and assisted with all our needs. My mother has mobility issue, upon arrival Vashy noticed and wheelchair was brought to mother without having to enquire for one. Concierge service was excellent , staff were knowledgeable a big thank you to Matteo for assistance during our stay.

None of restaurants offered an all day dining option for food

Booked a room with a balcony. The balcony was a very dismal space and overlooked by a block of flats! A huge disappointment considering the extra money charged for this ‘privilege’! Also, the hotel’s location is great if you’re fully mobile and able to walk into the centre but if you have problems with walking it could be a problem. However, the buses are very good and the hotel is near a bus stop and metro station.

Housekeeping in 1 of our rooms was hit and miss. Generally ok but really could have been better at this quality of hotel. e.g. missing all towels on day 1 , very late room make up

Beautiful inside and the central courtyard stunning. Very good facilities and staff all very friendly. Customer service excellent. Loved we could park and access the old town very easily.

Very happy. Only improvement feel would be with fixtures and footings in the rooms. No mirror over desk for applying make up and doing hair. Expected a smart TV, great to have if you have kids. Also better plugs for charging devices. Wasn’t any dislikes just a few touches that I feel would improve the stay.

Great location nearby Turin parc, Mercado Colon, shopping area and Carmen antic bario. sympathetic crew always ready to help. excellent breakfast in the incredible garden… big rooms well equipped. all good !

Staff were fabulous. Friendly and professional. The concierge was lovely. Hotel was immaculate and clean. Didn’t eat there but a great base to explore the city. Out of the way of the bustling crowds but near enough to walk to the historic centre.

Nice hotel. Good rooms, bed, bathroom with bathtub. Airconditioning works very well. Spa, gym and pool are nice. Restaurant had live music every night until 10pm. Staff helped me buy medicine and that was very nice! Overall a very nice stay in the sunny Valencia.

Two small suggestions: hairdryer was not good and massage at the spa was a little difficult to book.

we order a pasta with garlic and olive. its a 5 star hotel but we were given plain pasta with olives.no garlic. basically a tasteless plate

A very efficiently run hotel. Spotlessly clean all the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Location is perfect . Wonderful setting

lack of cleaning staff leading to a) the room not being cleaned until 6pm! -despite our repetitive calls and requests- and b) cleaning trolleys and mess in the corridors of the hotel throughout the day

The assigned room was spacious and comfortable; well kitted with the requirements. I did use the spa on one occasion, enjoyed the experience. LIVE entertainment at the outdoor bar area created a good atmosphere for drinks or dinner. Food was delicious.

Breakfast costs €28 per person which is fine. However, if you would like an omelette, poached eggs or even fried eggs, you will be charged additional costs! As a person who enjoys an omelette, toast and coffee for breakfast; €28 for toast and coffee is exorbitant.

Very large well appointed rooms. Comfortable bed. Nice courtyard for evening drinks. Location just across the park from old town was very easy in and easy out while still a convenient walk to the city center.

no wifi - did not expect this at a 5-star hotel and the soap in our room was not filled + soap in bathroom in the gym

The staff really went the second mile and the garden courtyard is beautiful.

It is a little far from the centre but that is a small complaint.

Quite and peaceful room. Great spa and pool. Only 2 minutes walk to Turia river/park and 10 mins walk from old centre. Staff friendly and very helpful.

Gorgeous hotel in a historic building. It was just across the bridge from the main part of Valencia. During the Fallas it was nice to have a quiet hotel to treat to.

The restaurant is absolutely not geared towards vegetarians. What was served was simply not good. Cooking has a lot to do with respect for the guest. You won't find that here in the restaurant. Which is a shame, because the hotel is great
