The room was a bit odd. Think we may have been allocated an accessible room as we needed an extra bed for a couple of nights.

The staff couldn’t have done more for you. Big shout out to Alejandro & Ines.
Breakfast was nice. Both continental and then options from the menu. Unlimited coffee all day.
Perfect distance between the park and the centre.

The hotel is brilliant in almost every respect, but the history of the building is a stand-out. The staff also deserve a special mention.

We had some noise from the bar in the evening from our (otherwise excellent) room, but it ended at a reasonable time, so it's really just a minor quibble that probably really reflects on us trying to go to bed too early!

I strongly recommend this place and would stay there again if I return to Valencia. There are architectural treasures embedded in this historic site, and yet the rooms are modern with all the comforts one would want. It very tastefully integrates the older features with newer design, and the staff are incredibly helpful. It is also close to many areas of town we wanted to visit, but is a somewhat quiet corner of the neighborhood. We booked a room with an old brick arch remnant of a wall. It was amazing.

Fabulous location, a 5 minute walk to main square and cathedral! Breakfast was delicious with a menu choice. Room was spacious and well stocked. Would recommend

Excellent location close to major sites and easy to reach by taxi or by train. Very helpful staff. Interesting building with a bit of character which added to the charm. Quiet location. In old town and a 5 minute walk from the main park.

Double bed booked but two singles pushed together

Loved the location. Staff and hotel excellent. Nothing too much trouble.

Felt swimming pool area was in need of upgrade. Would have liked sun beds to relax on after a day out.

The Caro is spectacular. Our room was built on a 2,000 year old wall (think Romans and Moors) and was large, clean and had a large, excellent bed. Location is fantastic. Quiet at the end of a block but a 5 minute walk to large town squares and so many eateries. Our son was in a cycling race in Barcelona, so when we arrived in Valencia the Caro provided him a secure parking spot in a locked garage for his bike when he built it to ride all over Valencia. Much appreciated! The service at the Caro is exceptional. All of the little details made this our favorite spot of all during our trip around Spain.

Fab hotel with fantastic staff. Right in the centre of the old town so very easy to explore. Breakfast included a cold buffet and pastries with a very good menu for hot food. Staff were very accommodating so breakfast was always a treat. There was a Michel star restaurant on site which we didn't get a chance to try but the little treats they left in our room we will definitely try next time.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. Was our first trip to Valencia so most of our time was spent out traveling around. If you are more likely to spent a lot of time relaxing in the hotel then the bar and outdoor space is small.

Stunning hotel, lovely rooms, very boutique

Breakfast was a little chaotic with only 1 person serving. The lady was lovely, but couldn’t keep up, which meant the breakfast was overpriced

Location and architecture are really nice. Staff is really kind and helpful. The daily treat are always a good surprise and make you feel pampered. Really silent room. Perfect sleeping.

Spaces are clean amd well designed but they look a bit aged and need a bit of refresh and attention to details. Pity the restaurant was not working and the room was a bit too neutral and anonymous compared with others I saw online.

Caro hotel was our favorite hotel during our Spain trip this summer. The room was beautiful, the pool is amazing, the breakfast is fantastic and the staff is extremely helpful.

We will come back and stay for a few days!

Beautiful hotel with fantastic staff who were very professional. The little touches like a card on your bed each night telling you the weather for the next few days with a treat, the coffee brought to your room, lovely comfortable beds and pillows set the hotel apart. It’s clean and has a beautiful fresh fragrance throughout the hotel. It’s air conditioned during the hot days so you walk into a nice cool room. Valet parking is so helpful in the Old Town you just arrive and they park your car. The Roman ruins throughout the building are incredible. Would highly recommend the hotel.

Great location and the staff were amazing

The pool is lovely but looking a bit tired, some rotting wood etc. around the edges. Our loft room was very cool but space was a little tight on head height. We are both 6ft +

I was initially daunted by the pool. Don’t be. Everyone in there is lovely and in the same position. Just don’t think there are any sunbeds. But there is plenty of sun

Very helpful and friendly people. Centrally located hotel. Still very quiet and friendly environment without traffic or bustle from the city. Excellent beds and pillows.

The restaurant was closed. The pool was rather small. And we hoped there had been a fitness room.

Caro Hotel met our expectations in every way. The staff were outstanding—professional, attentive, and always ready to help. Our room was very clean, modern, and spacious, with thoughtful design and plenty of comfort.

We loved all the luxury touches and in-room amenities, especially in the bathroom. Being able to order coffee each morning was a lovely perk, and the complimentary minibar was a great bonus.

I was upgraded and the room was fantastic. Breakfast was nice but maybe a bit overpriced. The hotel provided a comfortable and relaxing break for walking in the heat and served a a great base. Parking was very convenient. The staff was great with plenty of recommendations. Very attentive staff

Wonderful hotel in excellent location

Really nice, well located hotel. Clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. And the entire staff was really friendly, professional and helpful. I would especially complement Inés who checked us in but also gave us really great advice on Valencia including nice dining options, things to visit, etc. Huge thank you! I will recommend Hotel Caro for sure.

Staff is incredibly friendly, location is near old town center, breakfast is great with lots of free a la carte options, structure has historical significance, and there is a bar on-site. Only issue I had was that for the price, it was a bed, fridge and bathroom. The bed was comfortable but on the floor and so low. You pay for the location and great staff but not the room.

Staff friendliness and desire to please exceptional. Coffee and tea ordered and delivered at the drop of a hat.

Nothing -everything perfect .

Fantastic location. The hotel is located in an old castle, there is a little fragment of it in each room however it’s too ascetic. Some upstairs rooms of the room have unfinished ceiling and I don’t think it’s due to keeping the rooms original. Unfinished ceiling like in cheap officespaces plus my biggest issue was the lack of lights. I was put in a room with high unfinished ceiling and small lamp in the corner. The lamp was actually just a light bulb. I understand minimal accessorizing, but it made me feel like I am in the prison cell in the evening. It was so dark that I couldn’t even do my work. It was tiny table in the other corner, no desk no good light. It looked like the room was never finished so I was kind of depressing.
