Very friendly staff, very well maintained resort, very informal in all aspects

A little too quiet at the main pool area meant no real atmosphere. Music inside the restaurants but nothing outside. If you are looking for that then a pool villa is your best option

Loved the restaurant, ‘Qamar’ such good food and great breakfast too. Loved how the manager at qamar treated us also. The view was amazing.

They did not have a fridge, and the minibar didn’t even make anything cool enough, especially with a baby. Also the buggy service is pretty slow but it was okayy

Flexibility on use of hotel facilities, even after check out

A lovely island and resort. A lovely welcome on arrival to the resort and the room. There is still lots of construction going on at the other end. Beach could be better. Lovely views of Dubai city skyline from the beach. Hotel rooms were amazing and clean, and we were looked after by Arif. AC was too cold and remote control too complicated to operate. We requested connecting rooms with our two teenage boys, but unfortunately, they were not provided; an inconvenience, but we managed. Amazing breakfast spread. Bbq grill night at Helios restaurant much to be desired, very little choice for starters and grill. We took half board, but drinks were not included. Qamat restaurant with Arabic /indian buffet was nice. We were placed very far from amenities and pool. It was not too bad, though, as a buggy was available. There was a stink in the area towards our rooms, from dirty smi cleaned sewage water being used by gardeners (whom by the way were not in uniforms and not professional at all like rest of staff) and lots of standing water in tree/foliage areas due to over watering, which resulted in mosquitoes. I was bitten the second night by mosquitoes and was lucky to have my anti histamine meds with me. There is a lovely large aviary with not many birds in it, though. It was clearly not being looked after well as there was a large dead bird on the floor in the aviary... Lots of beautiful wildlife in the resort, including peacocks, ducks, geese, gazelles, parrots, etc. Checking in, boat service, and luggage services were exceptional. Water sports facilities prices were exorbitant, had a decent small gym and paddle court. overall a nice island experience with only a 20 min boat ride away from Dubai.

It is a peaceful location 15 minutes from Dubai. The nature and quality of the island are great, considering it is artificial. The staff is smily, professional and welcoming. The room are very spacious.

The energy generator is located near the resort facility and produces a constant and quite loud noise that deeply compromises the experience.

The location is great for a short break from city hustle bustle. Our villa host Aziz was exceptional and everything was just a call or msg away.

The construction quality was not at the level I was expecting specially price pool area. Quality of tiles used around pool area was very low and also the workmanship.

The staff is excellent, at a high level. Especially in the restaurant for breakfast there is a cool administrator

The rooms are very old, the territory is not improved and not well maintained. The paths are made of sand, so you can only walk in rubber flip-flops. Very little greenery.

The check-in process was easy. The room was clean, huge, and looked new. The location was good. The staff were welcoming and nice. The food quality exceeded expectations. The welcoming cake was fresh and tasty. Upon return, the luggage and cars were ready with the AC cooling, which was appreciated. Overall experience was positive, and the reviewer would return.

The spa was disappointing, not up to high standards, and felt overpriced. Bathrooms and locker areas were not clean. Delays during the boat ride back due to a large family, causing a late arrival without any apologies. Suggestion for large families (over 10 people) to have a separate boat to avoid delays for others. Unprofessional conduct from staff fighting in front of guests on the boat, which disrupted a peaceful departure from the island.

It was our anniversary and we were greeted with an ice cold bottle of bubbles in our room. Lovely staff and fantastic beach area and service.

Food in the restaurants was tasty but overpriced. Having to pay for a boat transfer could and should have been included in the price - 200AED additional

The value of money not their coz u can’t use the facility. Not on time as we had issue in TV and luggage booking issue and no time management on the resort. Many other resorts are available with more facilities not worth it

The view and location was very nice and entertaining…

Overall, I liked each and everything. But I was not happy with the staff behavior little bit. I have a bad experience in the morning when we were having our breakfast. Staffs were serving everyone whatever customers were asking even water also. But when I asked for the water she showed me some specific area and asked to take water from there. My concern is that why only me was asked to get water from the specific area but other people were getting served with water when they asked. And also not happy with the boat service, we were only 10 minutes late and we asked that we are late because of traffic but the boat staff said we can not wait 10 minutes for you guys we requested many times but he didnot listen and because of that 10 minutes we wasted our 2 hours. But the same boat when we were returning it was late around 20 minutes. Everyone was on the boat but it was late. So, my question is if it’s your need or work you can be late but if any customer ask you can’t why?

Well managed , clean and offering a resort island experience minutes from Dubai

There are only 2 restaurants and an empty bar .went during Eid where the prices were high and temperatures were over 40 making it difficult to enjoy the available activities..no bathtub in the junior suite .

The care you receive by the staff is amazing! Special thanks to Aziza and the rest of the staff we really had a joyful experience

Confirmation on having late check out would be great so that we know we can enjoy the sea and the pool instead of waiting in the room for the car to take us back to the lobby for checkout, while we were informed it’s not possible to have late check out we anyway got an hour and half waiting for the car, we could enjoy more instead ☺️

It took me a few hours to get used to it after glitzy Dubai but than I found it so relaxing, different, a bit like Maldives. Especially the sandy paths gives you a feeling of a beach holiday and the staff is so nice! All of them!! They upgraded us to a huge room with large terrace which was so nice of them! The two restaurants give plenty of choice for a long weekend stay. The sunset restaurant serves authentic Asian food and the other one near the pool is a very good Greek restaurant. I will definitely go again!

The black tiled swimming pool is not inviting at all. Please retile it with sandy colour or gray-aqua-white tiles. I think the architect had the right intentions as it looks like a natural pond, which is nice to look at but not inviting to swim in. Also, if a child can’t swim well and sinks to the bottom, you can’t see them!

Beautiful views and was a lovely location. Hospitality and service from staff was excellent. We had so much help from the amazing Alia who really made us comfortable and made us enjoy our stay even more. It was a real special experience!

Money value Against the room it self , i was expecting something woow to be amazed with however i felt it average and not worth it .

All Staff were some of the best we have experienced in Dubai. Very kid centric and friendly. Always helpful.

Finishing of hotel was poor. Fixture and fittings etc all around the resort. The price of water sports were very high.

The staff. Their warm welcome, their demeanor and their attitude of “you are family” was extremely well recieved.

The finishing in the rooms was not the best. Construction errors and botched repairs were evident. One starts to question the cost when these things are so visible.

The service of the staff was exceptional all the way through. They were attentive, responsive, and friendly. (Swe, Tony, Zim, to name a few). Views were great and room facilities were exceptional. Peace and quite away from the city, but city in sight.

Being ECO friendly, does take you away from some of the other 5 stars, however, this negated by the fact that the rest of strengths. More effort on keeping the beaches Stone free, would be great.

I can never understand why facilities like pool close at sunset... it would be great to have an evening relaxing swim...

The food was very good and the service very welcoming and friendly

For the price you pay I honestly expected a very luxurious villa integrated with the environment and instead it was quite poor and poorly furnished. Not to mention the swimming pool which was not a swimming pool other than a hole and the air conditioning which did not pump sufficiently, not only in the room... but also in the gym.

We celebrated our anniversary at Anantara World Islands. While no complementary offerings were given upon arrival, the cake at Qamar restaurant was a delightful surprise. Overall, our stay was memorable, with a warm welcome and enjoyable atmosphere. Kudos to Smitha, Joy, and the Qamar staff for excellent service. A special thanks to our room attendant, Mr. Dhanal Nar, for his dedication in keeping our room comfortable and clean.

Firstly, the room's air conditioning arrangement seemed to focus primarily on the living and bed areas, leaving the entrance and bathroom feeling uncomfortably warm. We had to request assistance to address this issue in the bathroom. Additionally, I noticed that there was a charge of 200 for the boat ride to the hotel. This surprised us, as we've previously stayed at hotels where the boat transfer was included. Clear communication regarding such charges would be appreciated.

The check-in process took far too long

I love Anantara resorts because you are guaranteed exceptional services and facilities. We enjoyed the small pool in the villa and felt the beach was almost private for us. The food at the restaurants was delicious and everyone working there was super friendly.

The logistics to go and return is why I didn’t give this resort a 10 out of 10. You don’t receive clear guidelines on what you should do and because of the waiting for the luggage, the trip to and from lasted 90 mins each way.

The island is amazing place to getaway and not far from Dubai.

The staff on the island were great (Yoon specifically was excellent). The Room is fantastic. The food was great and the services were excellent.

The transportation from and to the island is a nightmare. They only have specific times and the reception area and staff off the island in the main desk were not a 5-star level. In addition, the boat is charged and not cheap yet you have no other way to reach the island, I mean I am only paying this much for the room. It is ok if you are going to be on the island with no need to commute back to Dubai.

1. the transfer by bout wasn’t good experience.. its a small bout with only few seats outside. the inside seats are very hot because their is no AC. 2. I suppose to have someone talk to me via WhatsApp to support us during our stay but this never happened. 3. there is a door from the pool directly to the toilet it was looked and I have to call 3 times till someone come to unlock it. other than this its a great please

Nice experience. The villa with the pool facing the sea is amazing. It is like if you tarek led to Maldives without the hassle of the airport. Very clean. Well organized. Many activities for kids.

Our single night stay at the Anantara World Islands Resort proved to be a delightful affair. Our room boasted an exquisite vista of the vast blue crystal-clear ocean. The picturesque sunset and the captivating Dubai skyline, as seen from Qamar Restaurant, were truly mesmerizing. The hospitality of the staff was outstanding, adding to the charm of our visit. The exhilarating 15-minute speed boat ride from the Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort to the secluded island and back further elevated our experience, leaving us with nothing but praise for this paradisal location.

The valet parking did pose some difficulties, and the lounge where we awaited the boat was not up to par with the hotel's five-star standards. The ambiance felt dated, and the space was inadequate, with insufficient seating available. We were eager to depart as soon as possible. Nonetheless, this slight inconvenience does not detract from the unforgettable experience we enjoyed. I highly recommend this destination to couples and families seeking a memorable retreat.
