Clarion Hotel The Hub, Oslo

1. Location - just across from Oslo central station and within walking distance to most major attractions 2. Staff - friendly and helpful, Fiona recommended a few restaurants for us to try and they were all very goo 3. Breakfast - excellent buffet style breakfast, lots of selections, fresh and delicious

Great location, very central and great to walk from the train station. Lots of restaurants nearby and a nice atmosphere in the hotel. We stayed twice, once at the beginning of our holiday and once at the end. Although we had the same room type, they were quite different experiences. The first room was a little dated

Lovely room on the 13th floor with excellent views of Oslo, looking towards the Opera house. Great location for the station and public transport (quite literally on the doorstep). Our room was clean and spacious with a very comfy bed. The breakfast buffet had lots of options and staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend for a stay in Oslo.

Fabulous location..walking was easy..lots of shops, restaurants, tours..the bed was comfortable, the room was good size and the bathroom and shower were terrific..I'd highly recommend this place..also we left r luggage for several hours after we checked out and it was stored in a secure location

The location is in the center within walking distance to the most of the attractions. The central station was across the road with the great trains service to the airport and also public transport. The breakfast was amazing with the excellent variety of fresh high quality organic food. The spa area and 2gyms (cardio+machine) were extremely clean and free towels available at the changing rooms.

We were on 11th floor and could hear the streetcar stopping below. However the view was nice. Lobby had lots of activity.

Very large elegant hotel near central station with wonderful breakfast buffet. Front desk sent someone in a timely manner to address a thermostat issue upon check-in.

The location was a plus. Bfast spread is very good & I enjoyed it very much.

Did not provide bedroom slippers or electric kettle in our rooms. Bed was too soft for me.

I called to check if I can get my laundry back by Thursday as I was flying off on Friday if I sent it by 0900 on Tuesday. I was told I would and it would come back the next day by 1800 hours. I asked for my laundry on Thursday night and I was told that they couldn’t find it and it was missing. I called 3 times and stayed up till 0200 hours to wait for the staff to find my laundry as they said they were “hunting” for it. I called again and said I need to rest and will be up at 0600 hours, if they have found it please give me a call. I called at 0630 but they said they hunted everywhere the entire night but couldn’t find it. After breakfast I went down to reception and asked this very nice lady, told her my laundry was missing and gave my room number. She found it and gave it back to me within 30 seconds. So I’m wondering if the night shift staff even bothered to find my laundry at all???

The hotel is situated absolutely in the center of Oslo, close to the train station and with trams and public transport absolutely next door. It's also walking distance from all the main attractions. The hotel itself is well maintained, with extremely helpful staff. The Norda restaurant on the roof top is also a great place to unwind and have gorgeous seafood - we were absolutely pampered by Ivana, do say hello to her! And a very special mention for the absolutely delightful and large spread for breakfast!

Room on small size

Location is fantastic - literally diagonally across from the Oslo Station. The room is spacious, the staff is friendly (especially Diana who did my check-out) and I really like the ice-cube self-service on each floor.

My room only has one panel of window (which is different from the picture in the OTA), so part of the large room gets a bit dark. I had issue with the air-con (it got very warm in the evening) - I only managed to find the hidden control system after searching high and low.

Breakfast was great, especially the fresh fruit. Location was also very convenient.

There are not enough storages for clothes, so we had to leave everything in the suitcase. Also our room faced the train station so we could hear the train so it was a bit loud at night.

Overall the stay in the hotel was fantastic, the room was a relaxing, comfortable space, the breakfast was fantastic, the bars and restaurants were just brilliant and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating.

The air conditioning in our room (1403) didn’t seem to function too well. The room got too warm at night and the noise from outside meant either sleep uncomfortably warm, or have difficulty sleeping from having the window open. As someone who overheats very easily, this meant my sleep was not good.

Breakfast area needs better layout. It is a zoo during busy hours. A/C control should be possible in the room. When it got cold we had to cover with towel.

The breakfast selection was very good. It is very busy though.

There is a large variation in the size of rooms offered in the “standard double room”. We had to request a change of room as we couldn’t even open two suitcases in our first room. There is also nowhere to unpack your clothes when you arrive apart from about four hangers in a very narrow cupboard. The second room we were offered was fine for the classification. I also heard of several other complaining of the same issue with very small inadequate room sizes. This is not clear on booking.com
